I'm always skeptical when girls here make claims about never wanting to take the dress off, or feeling like a princess, but now I understand. Hands down my favorite dress I've rented off RTR yet. It came with a small hole and they over nighted me a (different) back up dress, but I ended up wearing it because I loved it so much. It was comfortable, but pretty. Wore it to an evening black tie winter wedding in Miami. There's a heavy duty bra sewn in so no worries there. It's long, I wore it with 4 inch heels and still carried the bottom every time I walked but it was so well worth it. Also, was scared I'd look fat in a big flowy gown bc I'd never worn a long dress like that before, but that was not the case. Loved this dress!

I loved this dress! The color is absolutely stunning and is unique depending on the light it's in. Regardless, it's vivid, and will certainly catch people's eye. The dress is light and breezy, ideal for a spring or summer party/event. The bodice is tight, but I didn't have any problems. I wore a nubra with this dress, but you can easily wear the dress without a bra or with a traditional strapless bra. I wore the petite, which was the perfect length with 2.5 inch heels, which I wore for the photographs, although it was plenty short enough for me to wear flats when the dancing started. My heels were about as high as I could go without my feet showing, though, so if you like wearing higher heels or you're taller than 5'5 or 5'6, I would go for the regular length. All in all, a great dress!

I wore this for prom and it was perfect; didn't fall down at all. The length was perfect, and I wore flat sandals.

Was great fit, I was in between sizes but went with the bigger one and was glad I did! Wore with a strapless bra and fit my large bust perfectly!

I would agree with the other commentators the dress runs a bit small at the bodice. I went up a size because of it. But, that was the only issue. The dress has a beautiful color and a great feel. I would definitely rent it again. I got compliment on it all night. Also, I wore it with 3 inch heels and had no issue with the length which I was pleasantly surprised with since I'm 5'2.

I ordered 2 sizes and ended wearing the larger one, but prob should have worn the smaller size. I'm a c-cup and it fit perfectly; it made the area look great hah! If your fuller chested, I would maybe consider another dress. I was worried about ordering a petite as I find the fit can be different, but it worked perfectly with my heels. I wore averaged size heels. The color of this dress is amazing and I received so many compliments on it. The color is enough-kept jewelry simple. Great fit and so comfortable I wushu I could wear it again!

This dress is gorgeous! I wore it to a black tie wedding in Colorado. The color was so perfect for the early fall outdoor setting up in the mountains. I would definitely say that the dress runs small. I got the 34R and 36R as backup and ended up wearing the 36R. I could not even get the zipper half-way up my chest on the 34R (and I consider myself pretty flat-chested) so I would 1) recommend this for someone who does not have a big chest and 2) get a size up from what you normally would wear (the sizes are European so it was a bit different from what I am used to) Overall, this dress was great! very light-weight and easy to dance in! I got many compliments & would suggest this dress to any of my friends!

This dress is so light-weight, which made it a blast to dance in at a summer wedding! The color popped and the fit was very comfortable. I wore 4.5 inch heels and the dress just touched the floor, so I did not need to hold up the skirt.

I was very happy to find a long dress that fit my petite frame. Although it was a little short for really tall heels, it worked out well for walking and dancing. With the side boning and sewn in bust I was able to go bra-less, a definite plus. The dress felt bright and cheery, but elegant. Very happy with my choice.

Definitely true to size. The bust area is of course much tighter, so ladies like myself who are bigger in the chest area may be just a LITTLE self conscious. Cons: I did have to pull up on the top all night. The fabric hooked on to things easily (like my jewelry and shoes). Like many others said, the zipper was a little hard to pull up. Pros: Perfect length with heels. Beautiful color. Fits true to size. All around gorgeous dress. I loved this dress. Sad that I have to send it back :( The RentTheRunway team was AMAZING. My backup size wasn't available, so Alex on the stylist team helped me to pick out two alternate options and sent them to me at no extra cost! I will definitely rent from renttherunway.com again. I rented this dress for a military formal dinner. As other ladies have mentioned, it runs small, simply because of the top portion (around the ribs). The zipper is also tricky, so plan on having someone help you. The color is beautiful and the fabric is light and doesn't cling to any unwanted lumps or bumps. No shapewear needed! The bodice has some padding and structure, so that is also a plus. Overall, it was another fabulous dress from RTR. I would recommend to anyone who needs a light, unique summer gown that is low-fuss.

The dress fit perfectly. It is really snug on the bust but is suppose to be. No bra was needed. Sense the style hugs your upper ribs, it made my bust look bigger then they actually are. So if you have a bigger bust, you might want to consider that. I was nervous about getting a petit size but the length was perfect. I wore about 2 in heals and the dress just came off the floor. The color of the dress was a little darker in person then in the original model pic but I preferred it. Over all I loved this dress and made my prom an event to remember.

The dress fit like a glove once I got it zipped up. It's definitely snug around the chest, but I'm 32C/34C and got it zipped up after sucking in a bit and it stayed up perfectly all night with no bra.

As you can tell from the pic, this color photographs beautifully. The fit was great and overall, very flattering. I felt very glamorous in this dress.

The dress is perfect, I received lots of compliments all night. I would have liked the 36R however I got a notice the day before saying the dress was unavailable so I went with the 38R which was fine just a tad large in the bust. The dress is really long, I wore 3 inch heels (I'm 5'3.5", 113lb) and it was still grazing the floor so I would have to hold it while I walked to not step on it. Dancing was the same situation. Otherwise, felt really comfortable all night and I loved wearing it. Also, I feel like it makes some people look pregnant in the pictures however I didn't find it to be like that - I think it's just posture.

I was nervous about choosing a size for for this dress because I had never used RTR before. When my dresses arrived though I was pleased to find that the 40L fit perfectly! This was pretty lucky too because the 38R was too short for me with no shoes on, and it had ribbing from the corset protruding inside the dress. In person the color was darker than the images online eluded to, but it was still beautiful and elegant. This dress was great for my senior prom, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to dress to impress!

I loved this dress! My first time using rent the runway and I was really pleased. The dress was beautiful and I got so many compliments, and it was a great fit lightweight material and very comfortable. Since it is empire waist it's an easy fit. Loved it, highly recommend it!

The only negative about this dress is that it has a tough zipper otherwise it was perfect! I already rented it again for another occasion!

The top is extremely flattering. It showed the perfect amount of cleavage without being revealing. I loved the color, it grabbed attention, but wasn't too flashy for a wedding. Overall the length, color, and cut made it the perfect dress for a black tie winter wedding.

I loved the color, texture, and length of this dress. The top of the bust area was a little loose, but the 38R was too tight (I got the zipper tied up, but it was too constricting and I wanted to dance). Overall, the dress was wonderful--very pretty and feminine.

The dress fits a bit tight around the bodice but it helps if no bra is worn. Also, the length is perfect. I wore 5 inch heels and the length was just right ( I am 5'2 ). I would have worn the 38 R but it had a weird bump at the zipper, and I decided to go with the smaller size.

This was my first RTR experience and I absolutely am obsessed. This gown fit like a glove and was true to size. I was worried about the length, but it was perfect with my heels. I cannot tell you how many complements I received from an intimidating and glamorous crowd. The static made the overlay cling to the lining on the skirt a bit because it was so cold out, so make sure and bring a dryer shirt or some other way to reduce static electricity if needed.

The dress was a great fit. I am 5'7 and was able to wear the regular and it was still quite long. I wear a D cup and was cutting it close in this gown.. If your bra size is much bigger you may need to size up. I chose to wear the the strap as a cap sleeve rather than in the picture which i felt gave the dress a different look.

First, I ordered this dress as a back up for another I ordered online, fearing it would not arrive on time. I really wish I came to this site first, because it had all the answers I was looking for. This dress was everything! Amazing color and fit. I ordered the size 6 and 8 due to the reviews. However the six fit perfectly:) The dress was not too long on me, as I wore 5 inch platform heels. There was only one other person at the ball with the same color dress as I, but this one was clearly the WINNER!! I received numerous compliments all night about the dress (especially the color). I felt every bit the star of the night. I love this dress!!!! Wish I had more opportunities to get dressed up; this website will be my first go to!!! You will not be disappointed.

This was actually my backup dress, but it couldn't have been more perfect! It was a little difficult to zip, but it was tight enough that no bra was needed :) I'd size up if you have a larger chest. I was comfortable all night, and got lots of compliments! I wore sandals under it. I ordered the 36R, I would have needed to get the 36L if I wanted to wear heels and I'm only 5'6. The color was beautiful and I loved everything about it!

This definitely runs small. I could not even zip the 0, so make sure to order up in size! The best part of the dress is that it has the one shoulder strap so you're not having to hold your dress up while dancing! The zipper was a bit tricky, but that never stopped anyone from loving a dress. Overall a great choice for a black tie wedding, and a great color for a winter wedding.

The dress fit true to size and the color was vibrant. The length was perfect and the cut of the dress was flattering. It needs no accessorizing, but if you want to it still looks good. The fabric was very comfortable and the dress never moved out of place. I would defiantly rent it again.

This dress fits fantastic. I usually wear a 12, but this dress, I was a 14. I got the long lenth, I am 5'8" and without about 3" heels, it would have been too long. Love love love.

I wore this dress for a friends wedding in July and other than needing help with the zipper the dress fit perfectly. I am typically either a size 4 or 6 and ended up wearing the larger size The dress flows beautifully and is a gorgeous color.

I rented this dress in two sizes. I usually wear a 4P, but I ended up wear a 38R. I was difficult getting it zipped by the bust area. It was a little long, even with 4 1/2 heels, and a 1 inch platform shoes. However I made it work. I just didn't walk as much. This dress is definitely gorgeous. It was a great first experience with Rent the Runway.

I was really nervous to order a prom dress from RTR for prom because I had no back up plan, but it completely worked out. I thought it would be way too long but it was only a little bit long. If I had been able to, I probably wouldn't have even had it tailored. I am 5 foot 3 inches and I wore flat sandals, and I wore a size 36r(4) which is the size I usually wear. I ordered the size 6 as a back up but didn't even try it on.

Beautiful color!! fits true to size, very flattering and you don't need a bra cause it has full built in support. I'm 5'6'' and I got the 36L because the regular length wasn't available... i wore three inch heels and it was still pretty long. Definitely too long to run around without shoes on. Overall I absolutely loved it and got a million compliments!

Would highly recommend to any formal event! This dress is super lightweight and all around easy to wear, not to mention the color is breathtaking. I was concerned with the length after reading the reviews so I opted for the petite (I'm 5' 2" and wore 5 inch heels) and it was perfect.

I was super scared when I go this dress for 2 reasons. 1) They did not have a back-up size 2)The color looked so bright I did not know how it was going to look on me. Everything came out great! The color is not as bright as the picture might suggest. And I am a true 6 so the 38R fit fabulously. I wore this dress to a formal fundraising event. I got so many glances and compliments on how beautiful I looked.

This dress does run a bit tight in the bust, so do not plan on wearing a bra (there's one built in - no worries!) The length was perfect on me (5'7" with 4 in heels). It is so easy to wear and comfortable! The color is so unique! I definitely stood out that night. To answer a question asked after I submitted my review, I wore dark silver (almost more of a pewter) heels.
