Hot hot hot!!! The bride told me that everyone at the wedding was asking about the girl in the red dress....My only complaint was the it was a bit large in the bust, but a padded bra did the trick. Would definitely rent again!

I rented both a 36R and 36L. The R was too short for me in bare feet (I'm 5'6) but the L fit perfectly with 3in heels. The dress has a weird "spiral" seam from the asymmetric shoulder down the front but it's not really noticeable, probably adds to the curvy look you get from the dress. Spanks are a must as the fabric is not very forgiving and as the night went on the shoulder stretches out and I had to be mindful of my strapless showing on the side and back. Overall I was stopped numerous times for compliments and would definitely recommend this dress!

I rented this dress for my brothers black tie wedding. Its a beautiful dress and fit is great. I have no complaints at all and I got so many compliments. It was very comfortable and moved great. Looks just like the picture! I also rented jewelry from Rent the Runway and everything worked out fabulously. I have rented from them before and cant say enough great things about this site! I love Rent the Runway!

I was not super excited about this dress at first, but my boyfriend picked it out so I went with it. When I put this dress on, however, I was transformed. I was concerned that the fabric was going to show al my flaws, but it has a nice lining underneath that smooths you out, so everything feIl perfectly in all the right places. The length was also perfect, and I'm 5'4". Since the dress runs small, and I opted for the bigger size, the bust was a little big, but nothing a little padding couldn't fix. I don't feel like I got a good enough photo that does this dress justice. It is just stunning! Also, I could not believe how easy it was to return the dresses. You just shove them into a postal bag and drop it off at anywhere that takes usps mail!

This dress was definitively simple, buy classy and elegant. Exactly what I was looking for, for a summer wedding! I got a US size 8, but I should have gotten at 4 or a 6. It was sagging at the top and I'm a DD. I would definitively get this dress a size or 2 smaller. I am 5 foot 2 and with 6" heels, the length was great. I received some many compliments on this dress. I paired it with pear drop earrings in Champagne, and a classic David Yurman bracelet, thats it. The dress speaks for itself!

The dress looked amazing on my daughter. Everyone complimented her. She looked so stunningly beautiful, elegant and classy.

While the dress was form fitting it had a lot of stretch in it so it didn't feel tight! It was great to move around and dance in! I would consider renting this one again!

The dress is very fitted so no underwear can be worn on you need some kind of spanx

The fit was good. The only cons i have were that it ran short...like really short that i had to wear extremely short heels which I had to go buy. It was also a little loose near the zipper which causing my strapless to show a little. But i did wear spanx and would recommend it so no line show. I saw RTR sells thong shapliners which would probably work best. But overall, the dress was really beautiful and so comfortable!

Was a beautiful dress! My only complaint was that the bust part stretched out by the end of the evening, causing it to droop slightly at the sides.

I rented this dress for prom and got lots of compliments! Unfortunately the 38L I planned to wear wasn't available (at the last minute) but RTR was great and sent me a different backup dress for free. Luckily the 40R fit just fine, although the top of the dress around the bust was really loose. Overall this dress is verY form fitting, i'd recommend some spanx :p Great first rental experience! I was worried about this dress at first because I thought I picked the wrong size, but it ended up fitting great! I ordered a 36R (4) and I usually wear a 2. It does run short, too. I'm 5'5'' and i had to wear sandals. Overall I got tons of compliments. It was simple, elegant, and the perfect color for spring!

The dress is absolutely beautiful and the material is extremely comfortable. Fortunately, I decided to wear a small heel, because the dress definitely runs short! Also, the material and design of the dress is stretchy, but extremely form fitting, I ended up wearing spanks to make sure I didn't have a gut after a few cocktails. Overall, the form, fit, and look of the dress held up all night and I got plenty of compliments :)

This dress was absolutely gorgeous it made me feel like a movie star. The only downfall was I was not expecting it to be so tight. You could see every line in the dress and I felt super uncomfortable until I got the appropriate undergarments for it. After that it was perfect. The length was also perfect with my 3 inch heels.

I love this dress! I wore it to a black tie wedding and turned heads all night. It was a little short since I'm 5'11" and I had to wear flats, but it was fine in the long run. It definitly hugs very close to the body so I would reccommend Spanx to help keep everything in. It's a gorgeous color and made me look like a movie star! I'd definitely rent it again

It was a gorgeous dress and hugged in all of the right places. The only problem I had was that it ran a little short. I would have liked it to fall to the floor, which it did without heels (and I am only 5'2"). Other than that, no complaints. I received compliments all evening.

Rented it for a wedding & couldn't have been happier! The fit accentuates the natural curves and shows off a little while keeping it classy!

This spicy little number made me the talk of our company's award show. :) The fit was true to my size & if you are 5'7" or over you should probably get the longer length. You will feel like you are on the red carpet in this dress!

I wore this for my junior prom and with 4 inch heels, it fit perfectly. Its obviously very form fitting- basically it shows every bump and curve- and it cuts pretty low under the one shoulder. Its true red. I'm still getting compliments a month after prom and girls keep asking where I got the dress. (:

Cons: the straps are a bit loos, mine did not fall the way I wanted but the fit ended up making up for it! I am 5'4" and if you like heels GET THE LONG. The regular just doesn't' let you wear the heels you want.

everything shows in this dress. i swear you could see a bruise underneath my skin. not very forgiving

I must say that I had another amazing customer service experience with rent the runway. The speed in which they sent me the replacement looks that I was looking for and the ease in which you gave me when not having a dress 48 hours before my event was absolutely incredible. While the 1st look (gold badgley mischka) did not work out for me, and the aqua carlos miele was too large on top, I ended up wearing the red caribean coral dress from carlos miele. It looked great and still had the original tags on it when I received it!. I would let you know that for the other renters that the under arms of the dress drooped slightly as the night went on and I spent a lot of time pulling the dress up from under my arms, so my bra did not show; it was a remarkable standin for less trying it on less than 24 hours before the event. While it is a very light weight fabric, the supporting straps were maybe not supportive enough on just the one shoulder and caused the dress to hand down under the arms and around the breast area as the night wore on. That being said, I loved the way the dress fit my body without being too tight and the color was gorgeous. The straps are unique and it can be worn with a variety of different colored shoes and jewelry. I accesorized with nude/fold strappy sandles (probably about 3 inches or so high and I am 5"9 and the dress in 2 L was perfect) a gold bracelet and gold and diamond earrings. Thank you again for your help and I will continue to use rent the runway in the future....a few pictures of the night attached! Thanks so much!

RTR was out of the 34 long, so I went for the 24 regular. It was WAY too short, even with flats the dress was an inch or two off the ground. The color is not as radiant as it is in the picture. I didn't expect the dress to look brand new, but it looked more worn than I would have liked. The dress definitely shows everything off, so don't fool yourself go for a smaller size. Overall it's a great dress if worn in the correct size and length.

It was a beautiful color and style, however it showed every bump and spanx we a NECESSITY at any size. From the ribs down the dress fit me like a glove, however the upper part felt like it was stretched out. It was large and sloppy. I usually wear a 6, and am a 32C but this dress needed a lot more bust to fill it out.

The length was great, it's a very pretty dress, but the lining could be seen and the lines from where the fabric was connected showed through. The zipper on the side also puckered, so it made the sides of the dress look lumpy. I probably should have ordered a small size, becuase the sleeve also did not stay in place. This was my first choice dress for a formal event, but ended up weaing my second choice...which turned out to be amazing. A really nice looking dress, but the details weren't lining up for me!

This is a beautiful dress but unfortunately I needed a 34 so this one was big at the waist. Even if it were the 34R however, it would have been too short- with 3inch heels the dress was about a foot off the ground and looked a little awkward. I'd say if you are 5"5 or more, I'd go for the long version. The back is gorgeous and color just as pictured. The material is stretchy but not too much and is very comfortable. I didn't end up wearing it but would again if I had the right size.

Size up in this dress, ladies! I so wanted this dress to work out. I ordered it in the 34L and 36L- both were too small for me. I wore my backup dress instead, the Nicole Miller cherry square neck gown. I'm not ready to give up, though- next time I'll make this my backup gown and order a 38L.

Perfect length for the vertically challenged!

i actually didnt get to wear this dress, this was my original order and they called me and let me know that my back up size was no longer available and i ended up wearing the back up dress RTR very nicely sent me over at no charge. i did however try on the size that was sent to me and it seemed to fit a little large on my chest and the strap didnt sit on my shoulder the way it shows on the model it was too long. however, it clinged amazing on my body, i loved it! this dress would go amazing with a nice tan (which i am currently not! haha)

This was my first choice dress, but when the 38R was out of stock, I was sent the 40R which was way too big on me. I think even the 38R would've been too big. The dress doesn't hug the body well, it doesn't have a good slip inside, so it feels cheap. The shoulder which looks great on the model, didn't have the same affect. I think it would've been falling off my shoulder all night. The last minute replacement dress luckily fit like a glove, and maybe it was for the best this style ran out of stock, because I was much happier with my other choice.

Beautiful color. Material is quite thin and stretchy and shows body details and contour, the inner lining has a seam horizontally across the ribcage area in the front, stood out on me. I this would fit better on someone with a larger bust. The dress was beautiful from the back. The zipper is on the side and was bunching up on me making it look too big, so I was unable to wear it.

I ordered this as my primary dress in the 36L and 38L. Sadly, only the 38L was mailed (the 36L could not be located). The 38 L was stretched out in the bust area and the dress was a lot longer than other reviews. I was sad I didn't have the 36L to try on. It most likely would have fit a lot better!

I rented this dress for a black tie [destination] wedding in Napa at the end of April. I ended up wearing one of my friend's spare gown instead. The disappointment began as soon as I got the dress out of the box. I didn't like the fabric. I expected the dress to be soft and draping jersey. Instead, it's a glossy nylon-like fabric. Because I'm 5ft 4in and a size 2, I was advised to get 36R. When I put it on, I felt like a sausage in it. My chest was completely flatened. Being a D cup (which I mentioned to RTR prior to ordering the dress), I definitely needed to order the dress in a bigger size. Additionally, the dress was too short. My shoes (4¼" alexander wang heels) were completely visible. I wanted the dress to drape exactly the way it does on the model and it did not, so I decided against wearing it.

I rented both the 36 & 38L for a wedding. Because it's a one shoulder style, the hanger loop under the free arm stretched out the dress so badly that it wouldn't stay up on my chest (granted I'm only a size 34 B) and I would have flashed everyone when dancing. I probably could have been able to pin it awkwardly and not lift up my arms. I was super bummed, but just glad that I had a back up. The fabric is double layered to give structure, but you're also able to see the outline of the mid stomach lining. The color is more red then orange as pictured, but still an amazing shade. I'm 5'6 and love heels, so I definitely recommend the Long size if you don't want the whole heel to show.
