I think this fits beautifully. Flattering. I'm 5'6" and 128 lb and I ordered the sizes 2 and 4 but wore the 2. I'm small in the bust. This dress fit up top and had some good padding (even though I also wore a strapless bra). The dress was almost too short. Had I been an inch taller I would have needed flats or extra length. I wish I owned this dress. The blue is beautiful. I ordered the necklace shown in the picture with it too and liked it, but it would have looked great with just big earrings instead.I was nervous to use RTR but had a great 1st time experience and plan on using them again.

I was nervous since this was my first rental but it turned out great! The color of this dress was wonderful and it fit true to size. I did need to adjust the shoes I was going to wear since the dress was slightly short. It also came pretty wrinkled, I tried to steam it when I showered but I think it would have needed to be done professionally. Overall this dress was great for the event.

I wore this dress to the Emmys and got a lot of compliments. The biggest problem is that the middle wrinkled when I was sitting down and was visible in some photos. I think you have to have a narrow frame to make it work.

The pros: The color on this dress is amazing. Its a very beautiful blue that I have not seen before. The dress is also well-made, tailored, and very comfortable on. While it is silk and has no give, I found that it flared out at the correct part of my waist so I didn't feel constricted the entire night. This led to a bit of a billowing effect that, in some of my photos, made me look pregant (I'm not, so that's a con). Cons: As another RTR reviewer mentioned, this dress arrives unpressed and very wrinkled. Per that reviews advice, I attempted to iron it myself with a cool iron and failed. Due to some unforseen travel, I was unable to get it pressed before the day of my event and so (after my unsuccessful attempt with the iron) I found myself begging a local dry cleaner to press it. No small feat on MLK day. They did so with beautiful results. So I would recomment planning some lead time to ensure its pressed. Other small issues: The lining seemed to show a bit on the bottom and there was a deodorant stain on the right armpit. Small issues that did not detract from the overall effect of the dress once pressed, but these, together with the need to press the dress upon arrival, led me to subtract one star. BRACELETS: The antiqued crystal bracelet I ordered for eight days and it coordinated with both work outfits and the more formal dress. The crystal cambon pearl bracelet I received as part of the "Mystery bling" that I ordered. I had ordered and worn both before and they fit the bill nicely. Sparkly without being overstated.

Dress does run small, especially throughout the bust. Sized up from my normal size and still felt slightly snug. Great material very pretty blue in person. Dress can be slightly clingy to the lining but ends up laying really nicely. The length was perfect on me with 4" heels so I would be cautious of heel height if your 5'5 or taller. Overall recommend this dress for all seasons!

I was so happy with my first Rent the Runway experience! I ordered two sizes of this Carlos Miele dress. The stylist suggested sizing down for my second size, but I ended up wearing my usual size. Unfortunately, both dresses arrived very wrinkled. Silk does not box up well. I was very nervous about trying to get the wrinkles out as I didn't want to ruin the fabric. I ended up using a cool iron, as was suggested on the dress tag, and it worked perfectly! Wrinkle free, the dress was BEAUTIFUL and perfect color to stand out in crowd of black dresses and suits. One strange thing I noticed was that the 34 was a few inches longer than the 36, though both were ordered in regular length. Also the hem of the 34 looked very different than the 36, as though someone had fixed it poorly. I also ordered the Mystery Bling and received vintage teardrop earrings, which went perfectly with this dress. They would have also gone well with my backup dress, Carmen Marc Volvo Major Moment Gown.

I am slightly curvy around my hips and I felt like the dress hit me at the wrong points. Very snug in the bust, I'm an 34A. Other then the slightly awkward fit, I had a great RTR experience.

This was a second option dress. It was beautiful and the 42R was a perfect fit for me. I liked the length because I could have worn my highest heels with it. I couldn't chose between this one and the blue lace so I asked my husband his preference. This one was a little more formal so that's why the blue lace won out. Both dresses were stunning -- both winners.

I was very pleased with this rental. The color and fabric were beautiful, and I received compliments all night long. It fit very narrowly through my ribcage; I am usually a 2 (so a 34), but I'm glad I sized up, because I was not able to zip the 34 all the way to the top. I think if I was any larger in the chest, I would not have been able to wear the 36, and I'd recommend to anyone looking to rent this dress to size to your ribcage and chest. The dress was very forgiving through the waist and hips, though, and fit rest of my body well. I wore a pair of inch and a half heels, and the long fell to just above the floor and didn't give me any trouble at all. I really enjoyed wearing this and had a wonderful night!

This dress was absolute beautiful. I did not wear it the ball because I loved the other one I rented from Rent the Runway. It really was a very hard decision on which dress to wear.

#1 - I will upload photos when I find the camera-computer cord thing or when my firm gives us the photos from the night (since we had the chance to pose for awkward "prom" photos), Anyway, I love the dress and got so many complements on it. My only complaints were that it was somewhat big in the bust. The side where the shoulder came up was fine, but the opposite side was a bit large - not loose; it wasn't falling off. But I suppose you can't expect a perfect fit from a rental. That considered, it did fit very well, and I was very happy. For SURE go for the accessories -- for a little bit more $$ you get SO many more complements! (Unless you already have a really good jewelry collection.) I rented the R.J. Graziano necklace pictured with the model and R.J. Graziano clip-on earrings. The necklace and earrings weren't a perfect match, but looked SOOOO good together and everyone said how amazing my jewelry was. Getting ready to book a dress for my husband's holiday party for work now :) super psyched!

It was too tight in the ribs, and the trim under the bust didn't lay flat. This was my back up dress, so it was no big deal that the fit was so off since I loved my other dress. The color was beautiful though. Maybe if I had gone up a size...

It honestly looked like a silk bed sheet wrapped around me... Unfortunately, I did not find this dress to be flattering. Maybe on someone taller it would look better...
