I'm very petite so the dress was a little loose in the stomach area, but only I was able to notice. You will have to pull the dress up when dancing cause its strapless, but it isn't a big deal.

Too short on the bust so kind of uncomfortable

I wore this dress the night before my wedding for our dress rehearsal. I felt beautiful, it was the perfect dress to be the last one I would wear before the "one" that I would wear to begin my new life. I normally am a "0" and was glad I to have both sizes in this dress, I went with the 36 over the 34.

I thought this dress was beautiful. I loved the color and the fabric. It did run small and was a little uncomfortable to move around in. I chose not to wear a bra because the material of this dress was thick enough for support but I had to be carefull when raising my arms or bending down to not have a wordrobe malfunction.

Although I liked the dress alot, the picture is a little deceiving. The fabric is not quite as elegant as it appears in the photo on the website. I did still love the dress and received many complements. I ordered a 34, and 38 (I needed a 36 but it was already being rented) I usually wear a 0 or 2 dress size. The 34 fit, but was short on me, and too tight. I ended up wearing the 38, and it was big, but more appropriate for the wedding. Overall I really enjoyed my experience with rent the runway, and liked the dress a lot.

It was a little tight on the hips and around the middle. I was hoping it would have fit a little looser. The neckline dropped a little lower than I would have liked, but all in all it was a gorgeous gown and the fabric/design was beautiful.

I sadly did not get to wear this dress. It was stunning and prettier than I imagined when it arrived. I am usually a 6 and ordered the 42 and 38 because the 40 was not available. I am very curvy in the hips and couldn't even get the 38 over my butt (going legs up or over the head) and the 42 fit my body great but the bust could flap right down in the front. RTR was amazing with sending out a new dress of my choice and overnighted it in time for the wedding the next day. I was in a full panic having to wait till the day of but was beyond impressed with their customer service rep, Claire and how well the new rental came so soon!!

Unfortunately this dress was all wrong for my hourglass body type. I'm 5'6, about 145 and it was too tight on my hips and WAY too big in the chest. Even with 34D's & a padded bra. It also had a tiny tear in the neckline. The fabric was nice, but color was a little darker than I expected. More beige than gold. It's a shame, but I'm very happy customer service was polite and were able to send me a backup style straight to my hotel so it's waiting for me when I arrive tomorrow.

The 34 was too small. It was tight in the hips and there wasn't enough room for my breasts in the pre-made cups. The 36 was about 1/2" too large all over, but I wore it anyway. I usually have all formal wear altered, so maybe RTR isn't a good idea for me. One of the dresses also smelled faintly of smoke.

Unless you have a perfectly flat tummy, you'll need spnax with this dress.

This dress isn't tailored to big busts unfortunately i was "spilling out" and was unable to wear it. I'm still giving it 5 stars because the fit of the dress itself was fabulous.

I'm a 2-4. The 2 was too small and the 4 was way to big! Gorgeous dress but it was thick and awkward and didn't work for my figure.(curvy 125lbs)

I needed to wear a padded strapless bra as I am lacking in the dept. but it was gorgeous for my anniversary. I am very narrow in the hips and it fit!

The top part was big for me. I'm a B-cup and usually don't have this problem with dresses. If you are a bigger cup size, it may fit better. I had to keep pulling it up. Everything else fit fine. Overall, I enjoyed wearing it. It's cute and photographs very well.

Too big in the bust! There were a good two to three extra inches in the top of the dress. In comparison, the dress is a bit snug on the hips - I could get the dress on if fully unzipped, but the bust is disproportionately larger than the hips (I normally wear a size 27 in jeans). The dress is a bit more on the beige side than a light champagne side, but I really liked it. I was able to pin it to my bra to make it fit and I'm glad I did - it was comfortable and I got a lot of compliments.

The fit was great. And it ran true to size. Very elegant.

I loved this dress but it was definitely tight around the hips.

I wore this dress to a summer military ball and it worked perfectly It was a snug fit but what I expected. If you are blessed with a but I wouldn't pick this dress. I felt like it flattered me but I am very small up top and tall. It's true it's more of a shimmery beige and not gold but I loved the color :)

I'm a small gal, who finds it difficult to find formal wear that looks good on someone my size. The dress came below my knees, but I was okay with that. I found it to be a great fit except that my bust is too small to hold up the bodice of the dress so my bra showed during the evening I wore it. But I definitely out shined all the other girls at my event, ;)!

AMAZING dress! If only I were a few inches taller!! I am 5'2" and the dress was below my knees. I recommend this dress for women 5'5" and taller :)

I typically wear a size 8 so ordered a 40 as this dress supposedly ran small and they did not also have a size 10 equivalent. The size 8 was HUGE, especially in the bust region--was falling off. Material was amazing--silky and shiny. Would have been a great dress!

This was my first unsuccessful Rent the Runway experience. The dress was so pretty but just ran so small!! I even had my (smaller) roommate try it on to make sure the dress was just small and I had not put on weight-- she could not even get it zipped either!

Like everyone else, I felt the material was way less luxurious than it looked in the picture. Fit was not flattering either, it was bunchy and loose in the bust area, and offered no support. Dress definitely doesn't look and feel like a designer dress, it almost felt like something you could get from a high street retailer.

I didn't wear this dress, it came as a back up. Beautiful in person but just was too long for my taste and didn't fit me right. I was disappointed because I like my dresses shorter and I just remember this one being a little too long and too big.

This dress was seriously beautiful, but I felt like I was between the 2 sizes I received. This dress has ZERO stretch, so it was tight on my hips but too big on top. I got some fashion tape to hold up the top but without that tape, this dress would not have been wearable.

The liner rolled over the bust line and looked like a bra was showing in two different sizes, so it wasn't a matter of the dress not fitting but seemed to be an issue with wear. RTR refunded my money because of the inconvenience and, luckily, I had a second dress option that worked perfectly!

I didn't love this dress, but still ended up wearing it. Larger size too loose to be flattering and smaller was a little tight on hips and bottom area and since it has the tighter bands that criss cross, those sort of cut into my body in a way I thought wasn't great. Top was a little loose too. That said, I did get a some compliments, so maybe not too bad.

It was a very pretty dress however not what i expected.. The dress looks gold however is a more champagne color and the fabric is not as shiny. Also, I usually wear a 34 but the fabric had no stretch and I had to wear the 36 instead.

I rented this dress in addition to a second dress for an evening wedding. I wanted two options becaues I didn't know how they would fit and feel. I ended up NOT wearing this dress. I rented the size 40 (equivalent to a 6) and the 42 (equivalent to 8) based on the recommendation of the fit specialist. I tried on the smaller size 6 first and it was large underneath my breasts and upper stomach area. I didn't like the way the way the fabric sort of "puffed out". If I had gone with a smaller size it would have fit better. It's a beautiful dress. I chose not to wear it because my back-up dress looked better on me.

Beautiful dress! Great for a night out! While the bodice does run true to size, if you're bigger in the chest I would recommend ordering 1 size up!

I rented this dress to wear it for my bachelorette party. I was drawn to the gold color! Fast forward to when it arrived, and it didn't like it. The material was very flimsy and there was no support in the sweetheart neckline so it tended to roll down around the top of my bra. It also wasn't very flattering, and fit me like a potato sack. I was pretty disappointed with it, and didn't end up wearing it out.

Beautiful dress but just didn't fit right.

This dress was gorgeous however I could not wear it because it runs extremely small in the hips. If you have wider hips and larger thighs I would not recommend. I ordered it in my size and a size up and it still was too tight. If you are straight, narrow, and tall, go for it and enjoy!!

I knew I had to return this dress as soon as I took it out of the package. The color was completely different, more like a tan/gold than champagne. In addition, the details on this dress made it look tacky. The tiered layers had lace on them and it just didn't look right.

I had read reviews in advance, which should have scared me off. Rather, I decided to rent this dress as I loved the look of it. Unfortunately, it was 2-3 sizes too big in the bust, but I could barely get it over my hips. Needless to say, this dress is NOT made for curvy/hourglass kind of ladies, such as myself. Loved the dress on the hanger so hopefully it finds a home soon! :)

This dress looked good on the model but I wasn't even able to wear it to my event because it made my breasts look flat and unflattering.

I thought this dress would be the winner for a music awards event I was attending, two thumbs down. I'm 36-28-35 and a D Cup. I ordered an 8/42, but RTR didn't have a backup size. It was the largest 8 I've ever tried. It was too big @ the breast and waist, and too tight on the rear, which to me suggested the cut was off or rather not made for an hourglass or pear body type. Very disappointed, especially given the more expensive rental price.
