This dress has two length options and the R was perfect for me. Anything that is worn underneath this dress needs to be seamless. I also wore fabric adhesive (to prevent the top from shifting) and beige petal concealers.

I really liked the slinky-like fabric that flowed wel around mel. The dress had good length with the 3" heels I wore. It grazed the tops of my feet and had more length in the back. I did buy more fashion tape and used to secure the front in totally confidence that all stayed in place. I would wear the dress again if the oppurtunity arises.

I got compliments all night wearing this number for a black tie wedding. The other reviewers are right about the thick jersey material laying very nice and fitting well. The V is very deep, but classy with fashion tape. Lots and lots of fashion tape :) I typically wear a 4 in dresses (6 in pants), I ordered both the 36L and the 38R after reading about the length. I am 5'3 and ended up wearing the 36L b/c it fit better, but I still could have gotten away with the R over the L and I was wearing 3 inch heels. If you have an excuse to wear this dress I'd say go for it, b/c its not every day you get to feel so sexy!

Um... so I ignored the reviews about warning tall girls about the length and went for it. THIS IS MY DRESS! Yes, the v in the front is deep, but it is stunning. I got compliments all night. No one paid any attention to the fact that it was too short. Yes, you could see my shoes, but no one was looking down! I would warn that you CAN go too small. I am a standard size 8 and the 6 fit nicely, but I certainly could not wear a size 4. I would rent this dress again and again. Go for it!

First of all Rent the Runway is amazing! I can't stop talking about how great they are- so accommodating and even included doublestick tape for me for my dress- talk about great service! The dress was amazing! I got a ton of compliments and my boyfriend loved it! It is a very stretchable fabric and sooo comfortable. Don't worry too much about sizing being not quite right because it is such a flexible dress. I usually am about a 4 and got a 2 (36L) because it was the last available and it fit perfectly. One thing to know is that is extremely low cut (you can tell in my picture)- you have to go bra-less or use the little petal cover ups. I used double-stick tape and a special low cut bra from Victoria's Secret and it worked out. This isn't a dress for a conservative party though at all (I wore it to a Mardi Gras Ball). One other thing to note - which other reviews mention- is that if you are tall, go with the "Long." I am 5'10" and the dress really was too short in the front even flat-footed, so I got some really flashy heels so it looked like it was on purpose. It was longer in the back than front which helped too.

Fits great, very forgiving stretchy fabric, definitely needed double stick tape and spans to keep everything smooth and in place!

Order a larger size, it runs small. The length is too short for most girls, so be sure to get the long if you want it to touch the floor. I wore shorter heals and it was a perfect length. It sits really nice for someone who is smaller chested, the cut is not the same as the model, it goes significantly lower than that. You WILL need tape for the v in the middle as well as the inside of the sleeves, those are loose too, so you will want to be secure in the dress! You cannot wear any visible bra or panties with the dress, so prepare for that as well, it is tight on the back so any lines would show. The material is fairly heavy but it is easy to dance in and flows nicely all night! It was a great dress, a little formal for a wedding, but I got a lot of compliments and loved it!!

Absolutely stunning dress, I received so many compliments wearing this. The long was just long enough for me at 5'9" to wear heels, though they did show. Dress fits fairly true to size, but is very low cut. Much more so than in the picture. I purchased double sided dress tape to wear with it, and it was very much needed!

I rented this dress for a Mardi Gras Ball in New Orleans and I loved it. I'm 5'0 and the length was perfect with 5 inch heels. The fabric is very thick and a heavy jersey-like material and the knot in the middle hides a stomach pooch! The only downside with this dress is that it is WAY more low cut in person than the picture shows. I had to use a good bit of fashion tape to keep it from looking inappropriate. Also, it is difficult to wear a bra. Other than that, the dress is gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Would rent again.

Rented this dress for a wedding. Great dress..Highly recommend double stick tape so the dress stays put. Highly recommend ordering the long length. I am 5'6" and ordered long.

This dress is very comfortable, and I only had to use body tape on the inside of the V, which went lower on me than it does on the model. I felt sexy and classy at the same time, and I received many compliments. The dress accents a toned upper body - chest, arms, and back. If your chest is any bigger than a B cup, the classiness of this dress would decrease greatly.

Loved wearing this dress. The color is great and the fabric hangs beautifully. It is very low cut. I'm 5ft 3" and wore the dress with 3" heels.

The gown was very sexy but with all the class. I found it ran slightly on the large size. I am not top heavy but I have hips for my size. Hids stomach if needed.

Wonderful dress! I typically wear a 6 or 8 dress size so I ordered a 40 and a 42. The 40 was perfect, 42 a little big. Only order the long if you are very tall or wearing very high heels. Nice, expensive looking fabric.

Fantastic dress! Fits like a glove. First quality fabric, hefty knit. Order up if you have any questions about size as I am quite petite and it was the only perfect fit I tried 'off the rack'.

This is one gorgeous dress. The material is thick and has a beautiful swing to it as you walk/dance, and the color/cut is very flattering. However, as the other reviewers note, the neckline is VERY deep and fashion tape is a necessity.

I liked this dress and got complements, but I had to use a lot of fashion tape to hold it in place. Think Christina Aguilara on The Voice. A nubra would could not be fastened in front (not even close) so I worn it unfastened and used tape to conceal it. I'm 5'4" and about 118. I wore the 38 because the 36 was very short. I only wore 2" shoes and the 38 fit, so I would not recommend this if you are at all tall. Also, I wear a 36B bra and the 36 really didn't cover me. Like others have said, this is much lower cut than the model shows - probably 2" below where your bra would normally close in front. I do love that RTR sends two sizes. I have never used them before, but I'm sure I will in the future. Great idea!

This color of this dress is beautiful. Unfortunately I was not able to wear it and had to go with the alternate dress (love this policy of RTR to give you another style for free!). I even had my two sisters helping me but we were not able to get the ties and straps sorted out. I am a fit 5'2" on the busty side which may have been why (a little snug through the chest).

I am 5' 4" and NOTHING is ever short on me - I literally have to alter almost everything I buy. I rented this dress in 36R and 38R - I usually wear size 2 in regular clothes and sometimes size 4 in "couture" labels. The 36R fit perfectly everywhere except it hit just above the ankles and I was unable to use it. With heels it would have looked ridiculous but even with flats it wasn't floor length! The color is really pretty but the material is a bit shinier than I prefer. The v-neck is a little low as indicated in other reviews but I like it and think its great. Overall its a really beautiful dress and I would've really enjoyed it if it had been the right length.

The fabric and color on this dress are gorgeous! Unfortunately the v-neck was just way too low for me to wear. The model this is pictured on must have the dress taped because if you have larger breasts the dress goes from classy/sexy to a bit skanky. The draping is beautiful too I just wasn't comfortable wearing such a low v.

Way too scandalous for anything remotely conservative. Slit in front goes down about three inches further than shown. This is not appropriate for a black tie or a wedding.

Got this as my backup style, dress was well made and in good shape just didn't work for me. Bunched around the stomach and didn't flatter my shape

I'm 5'4", 126lbs, 34D, usually wear 4/6. Tried a 38 and 40. I could not get my breasts to fit into the dress. Should have read the fit guide about not wearing a bra, but that was not an option for me. I tried a u-plunge bra, strapless and even an adhesive bra and could not find a way to hide the bras. Not only is it cut very low in the front, but beware because it is also cut very low under the arms, making it hard to hide a bra. I would recommend this dress for smaller breasted gals brave enough to go braless or if you have implants. it is still a beautiful dress.
