The only issue I had was that I wore a nude bra and you can see it through the fabric in some pictures. It is so slim fitting I recommend a spanx to hold you in and smooth you out. For a formal dress it was very comfortable and didn't loose its shape throughout the night. Love it!! Highly recommend!

The dress is beautiful! I wore it to my prom and I got a lot of compliments on the dress. Its very elegant and chic.

This dress was the perfect dark fantasy. I paired it with gold and black jewelry and some towering heels. I am a 32 D and relatively thin. Both the XS and S fit like gloves. I am 5'6 and wore the long size with 4 inch heels. I highly recommend it. I stood out even in a sea of black dresses!

A little big in the shoulders but overall great fit!

The dress fit perfectly and was incredibly comfortable for a long night of dining and dancing. I wore diamond stud earrings and crystal cuffs on each wrist. I loved this dress and would rent it again.

I have been oogling this dress for some time and finally had the black tie event to allow me to rent it. I must say the dress is even prettier in person than it is on the model. It looks a lot less "Elvira" and a lot more "Uber Sophisticated". I will say - rent the regular AND the long. They only had one size available for my night and I knew I needed a long so I got the XSL. I'm 5'7" and planned on wearing 4" heels. When I got the dress I was really disappointed because although the bag said XSL the dress itself was a regular : ( If it were a long it would have been the prettiest dress I've ever worn, but the regular was just plain too short. Without heels it showed my feet and with heels it almost showed my ankles. The style of this dress and the very long sleeves requires it (in my styling opinion) to be floor length for the full effect of the dress to work. So all in all I would recommend this dress, just make sure to get the right length! : )

Perfect except for a little baggy underneath the arms

I agree with the reviewer that it isn't low AT ALL. The model must be a size 0 wearing a size 10 to get that depth...however, I loved the dress. I wore it under a vintage kimono as a warm chic layer and got a million compliments. However, it is a little plain. Use a lot of sparkly jewelry if you wear it alone. The size Medium LONG was perfect for me and sleeves were perfect.

I wore this to a holiday function and it was great. The simplicity of the dress makes it stunning! I am 5'7" and agree with others reviewers in that the length of the dress was a challenge. The regular was just a bit short and the long was a bit too long, even with 4 inch heels. I ended up wearing the long and taping the hem up. It was not ideal but worked fine. I loved this dress and wish I had somewhere to wear it again!

I wore this dress to a deb ball and it was perfect with the right accessories. it ran large so I ended up wearing the smaller size I ordered. the sleeves are very long but I just folded them under and you could not tell. I am 5'7" and the Long length was perfect even with heels on. would definitely wear again I got compliments all night.

I wore this to Barrister's Ball. Lots of other girls were wearing black, but this dress was a hands-down knock-out. There's something very striking about the shoulder-to-floor black, sleek silhouette. The fit was true to size--I wore a medium-long. At 5'9" and 139 pounds, it was a perfectly adequate fit. There is quite a bit of extra material around the upper arms. Not ideal, but it didn't bother me too much, and nobody noticed. I would say, if you're not sure, go with the larger size--the dress was a bit tight around the hips. Also, beware, it is looooong! You must wear heels. I wore four-inchers, and that was perfect.

This dress was very simple, I had rented two dresses just in case but did not end up wearing this one. This dress was more for a cocktail event than a black tie.

I rented this dress for a wedding because it was made of matte jersey which tends to fit well. However, the sleeve was made poorly or something, because the armhole was way too low and anytime I'd raise my arm(s) the whole dress would become warped. Had to keep adjusting it the whole time. Overall disappointed, because it was a beautiful dress and a shame it was made so poorly.

I am 6' and despite ordering a long, the dress was several inches shorter than I'd anticipated. Everything else fit extremely well. The sleeves were lengthly the dress itself was flattering. It wasn't clingy at all, it was rather light and comfortable.

At 5'4" and a size 8 I thought that the MR would be a perfect fit. I was half right.....the dress itself fit perfectly. However the length was way too short. Without heels it barely hit the floor and I normally wear 4" heels. On another note I was not totally impressed wit he dress and would never pay the retail price.

I would not recommend this for a petite girl. I have narrow shoulders and I was SO excited to wear this gown - the shoulders are so wide that it looked as if I were wearing poorly-tailored dolman sleeves! On another person I would blame a small bust size, but I'm a DD! This wedding is on Saturday and I am panicked, panicked, panicked.

i am 5'6" 125 lbs and wore 3 1/2" heels. i'm so glad i ordered a backup size. the medium long was swimming on me. the small long fit better...not great...but ok. a few things with the dress. it looks NOTHING like this picture. first i thought the material would be a thick stretch jersey. nope, it's a thin non-stretch polyester like material. i had a nude colored slip underneath. was able to see through it. had to run out and get a black slip and you can still see through it. a lot of extra fabric on the upper arm area but i think it's supposed to be like that...just wish they would've mentioned all this on the description. if i knew all this beforehand, i would not have rented this dress. i had to make it work because i had no time to go look for a different dress. what a disappointment...

This dress does not look anything like the picture. The "V neck" area is not low at all like it's pictured on the model.
