I ordered the 38L for a last minute shipment after one of my other RtR dresses was unavailable. I'm 5'6" and wore 3 inch heels, and the L length ended up being way too long. I used fabric tape to create a temporary hem, but the 38R would have been a much better fit. Otherwise, the dress fit perfectly. The fabric is thick enough that it won't show every imperfection. Since it was such a last minute order, I did not have a bra that would work with it so went without, which was fine. I got a TON of compliments and a friend at the wedding even contacted me afterward so she could rent it for an upcoming event. Highly recommend.

I normally wear a 6long. I rented a 6R. I think the dress needed to fit a bit snug and the straps kept falling, I think due to size. I would suggest renting a size smaller. I loved the dress and love Rent The Runway!

Cross Roads Gown This is a simple and very elegant gown that is great for pairing that statement accessory you have had your eye on! This style cannot be worn with a bra, so I would suggest using Braza’s Beige Petal Concealers for a little extra coverage! The style was not very fitted, so I would recommend sizing down for your backup.

It was a little long, and a bit loose in the hips. And the straps fell off once or twice. But I felt so sexy, classy, and glamorous. It was a wonderful gown for my senior recital and everyone was in awe of how beautiful it was. It was very comfortable and I felt great in it! Thanks Rent the Runway!

This dress ran a little short ( I ordered the long) so I wore a slip underneath with attached tulle for added length. I actually ended up loving the touch that it added to the dress. Also the fabric was different than I expected, but regardless I felt beautiful and sexy in this dress!

Elegant. Glamorous. Unfortunately, the dress was a wee bit too long to wear my event... But a fairytale moment in the making if you rent!

This was the backup dress that was overnight-ed as the first dress had zipper issues. First off, wow, this is a $4,000 dress and it shows! The material is heavy and lush and drapes so nicely. The back is amaze-balls. The detailing is classy and subtle but very sexy. I'm 5'3 and ordered the 38. It was tad big and I had to use double sided tape and safety pins to keep the straps on. The low-v wasn't an issue with a nu-bra. The picture does not do it justice. The bottom of the dress flares out in a trumpet shape so that when you dance, it really swirls out. Wore this to a black-tie event.
