Although it's a bit conservative (more form skimming than form fitting) for a sweater dress I found it elegant and comfortable for our dinner at the lodge. The pattern is simple. Fabric is thin with a tight, smooth knit. I enjoyed wearing it twice and will rent it again.

Dress was super cute end perfect length for work. Wore with a tall boot. Fabric was super thick so had to wear high spanx to cover up 43 yo bulges but still loved it.

This dress has been my rainy Monday go to. It's professional enough due to the color and sooo comfortable it makes getting out of bed on wet Mondays so much easier. I've worn the XS and S and both fit well, so it just depends on how loose you want it to be. I usually pair with tights and flats or booties. No accessories/belts needed!

The dress is fantastic, but in my opinion has to be worn with a belt. First, the dress looks like a sack without the belt. Second, the belt is a nice way to break up the geometry. I really love this look and highly recommend it. Definitely size down.

This is a beautiful dress. It's soft, light but warm, and looks very high-end. I ordered a M (even though I'd normally be a L because of my hips) based on other reviews, and it was perfect- figure flattering without being clingy or tight. So I'd say be aware that it runs a little large. L definitely rent again!

I really enjoyed wearing this dress. Easy to accessorize but really doesn't need much. Soft material that is not too heavy but is still warm. Perfect for an easy stylish outfit for work.

Very loose/runs large. Very comfy! No real shape. It's soft wool. The sleeves are a bit short though. Perfect for a 60° day or a cold office!

Very comfy and true to size. I do wish it hugged my curves a little bit more (it didn't look right belted because of the diagonal design). But it was appropriate for work and good for winter.

I am 5'11 and this dress was not flattering with flat boots. It was a little better with healed boots, but despite being cut wide the wool knit clung to my tights. Maybe bare legs or slicker tights? On the plus side, quality soft knit and nice colors. Wore to work but didn't feel particularly special.

I wore this to work and to a Rotary Club meeting. Originally I paired it with black boots, but that looked predictable and boring, so I went with dark red ankle boots and a red scarf, and a wide silver cuff. I tried a belt but it looked awkward due to the placement of the stripes. This is a nice staple piece and makes a good, warm basic dress.

I am not wearing this dress as it arrived with a horrible stitching job on the sleeve. I guess there was a hole or tear but this fix is laughable. Returning ASAP for another item. This dress should be taken out of rotation - I cannot believe RTR is offering this for sale at $331....

The dress was super comfy for an at-home casual cocktail party. I was comfortable all night and the dress was flattering. I wore shapewear underneath and was happy with the fit. I wore with high-heeled boots to add to my height - the dress length probably would have looked funny if I hadn't been wearing heels since I'm short.

I absolutely love this! The length, fit and design were very flattering. Unlike many other sweater dresses, it was not too tight in the butt/thighs. The material is so soft and cozy; will definitely rent again.

my office knows I rent the runway so I dont always get compliments, but this dress recieved a few. The fit was very comfortable. the bottom was a bit clingy, as my slip was not long enough to accommodate. I would rent again.

I will be renting it again. This is a gorgeous and very warm sweater dress. Perfect for the 10-degree temps in NYC the other week. I'm curvy and this drapped beautifully. I usually size up in tight dresses but it isn't necessary here. It's not a tight dress but it's a flattering dress (if you have bottom curves). For reference, I do not like the bodycon look. That's not what this dress it. I wore it to work and on a date with over the knee boots.

Not too scratchy for a sweater material. Length is perfect and the design is flattering. It's a bit lighter and not a thick material, so it's good for wearing indoors without getting too warm.

I may never return this dress. I've worn the large from about 21 weeks pregnant with my second to 28 weeks and hope to wear it until at least 32-34 weeks. Super soft -- my toddler loves giving me hugs in this, probably bc I'm like a large teddy bear. Loose enough to be comfortable in late 2nd trimester. Loved it enough that I bought a small from the designer for when I'm no longer pregnant.
