This skirt was a little bit small in the hips, causing the button to gap but a safety pin did the trick.

thinking about renting this again and actually in my size. i was directing a service in this skirt paired with a black turtleneck and a seagull pooed on me at graveside (fashion victim in my undershirt due to it)

If you have a bit of a stomach then I suggest sizing up! The material isn't stretchy and after brunch I was a bit uncomfortable with the tightness

Saw this online *and* in person and thought it would be great. I was wrong. The skirt material is nice, but see-through enough that you can my black shirt tucked in. Wrinkles very fast - not good for sitting at all. And when you do sit, the buttons gape open!!! I looked down and was horrified to see right through! This skirt could have been better if the placket was sewn shut at the top and given a zipper on the side. Wear a slip!

This skirt is cute but unless you have an absolutely concave stomach the buttons at the top gap in a VERY awkward way. I'm usually a 8 in skirts abs this was a 12... not worth the risk IMO. No pockets.

Really liked this skirt however waist was definitely tight and a bit of a fabric gap between top buttons. I used a rubber band alleviate the tight waist and that made it a great piece to wear. Maybe size up in this one.

I love the pattern, the good quality material, and the flattering cut. I also appreciate that the buttons are actually functional so you can create a slit for greater walkability and a different style. In the future I'd probably rent it for an event rather than work because it does wrinkle when you're sitting in it all day.

Has no stretch, so you want to make sure you order your size or a size up. Looks great with a navy crop top, also has some deep purple in the pattern I did not see in online photo. Sits high on waist.

This skirt definitely runs small and the buttons pulled slightly for me, but the overall look is very chic. I've worn it 3 times so far and will likely again. One other downfall is that you get lap creases/wrinkles pretty easily.

The product pictures showed this skirt as having pockets. Even though it arrived new with tags, it did not have pockets. Also although the pattern is lovely, the fabric was a bit see through as it is white. I wish this skirt had been lined.

I loved the pattern and length of this skirt, but wasn’t prepared for the button closures that can gape open while sitting! Would be sure to wear a slip with this one.

I wanted to like this more, but the buttons pull open and gap. It wasn't a sizing issue, the rest of the skirt fit fine. The print and the material are beautiful, but you'll need fashion tape or some way to keep it closed. I had a shirt tucked in so it wasn't super scandalous but I just felt self-conscious all day.

I have a small waist and I had to unbutton the top button.

Weird gap at buttons

Like other reviews said, the button closure on this skirt made it not look completely flush when wearing, regardless of body type. Was still able to wear it as it didn't actual reveal anything for me. Paired with a navy linen button down and wore to work & a nice dinner afterward.

Beware - the buttons gape, even if it fits and falls well! The way the skirt creases when you sit leaves big gaps between the buttons - like underwear visible situation. Super cute -- but learn from my mistake and wear a slip!
