I really liked this dress! It fit true to size and after reading all the reviews about how long the dress was I decided to get a Regular instead of a Long (I'm 5'8"), the Regular fit perfectly with 3-3.5" heels. The top was slightly tight across the chest so I wasn't able to wear a bra but the material is heavy enough that it was fine.

This was my backup dress in the 0 regular. However, I'm short, only 5'2" and with 3 inch heels this dress was about 3 inches too long! There was no possible way I could wear it, even with bigger heels. It did fit like a glove and felt comfortable. The center band on the dress has a nice hidden snap in the back to make it look like your wearing a belt. Overall, I really liked this dress but it wouldn't have worked for me because I'm not tall enough.

I ended up wearing my back-up dress, not this one. The length was perfect - I am just shy of 5'9" and had on 3" heels. It was too tight in the hips but too big in the stomach and waist. I ordered this for a June event. I think the material is too heavy for the summer. The top is a dark muted pink, not red like it looks in the picture.

If you have wider hips this dress fits comfortbaly, it is prefectly tailored for a 5'2 frame with 5 inch heels. The dress fit comfortable but was slightly big on top.

Very simple not not great for a strait and narrow body this just was not a dress a would wear

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding in NYC over New Year's Eve. Having rented the Long versions of gowns before, I opted for the 2L. The dress fit absolutely perfectly but was WAY too long... I loved the dress so much that I exchanged it for the shorter version, the 2R, but unfortunately that was a bit too short.... At the end of the day I had to go with another dress I already own.

Temporary hem or tape won't work for shortening. Fabric is too heavy. Save yourself the last minute aggravation.

Super gorgeous gown, well made of beautiful material. Ran a little tighter for me around the hips, but that's my largest area.

I am 6' tall and this was perfect length for me, but I was in flats and I ordered a 6L. It fit tighter in my hips and was slightly too big in the lower back. I wouldn't have worn it to an event because of the extra fabric in the lower back but it worked for the photo shoot. I felt glamorous and elegant in this mermaid gown!
