The dress was great. I received many compliments on it. The only drawback was that one side was missing the interior boning and I didn't know it was missing until I had put the dress on. I could have used that to help smooth things down a bit. Other than that the dress was great and most importantly, I felt good in it too.

I rented this dress as a gift for my maid of honor. She loved it and she looked gorgeous in it!

I wore this dress to the Kentucky Derby and felt absolutely beautiful. The dress is a lovely dark navy with a subtle jacquard pattern. It accentuated by best assets (above the waist) while concealing my not so great assets (below the waist). Many people stopped me and complimented me on the dress asking where I got it. A few notes, this dress is heavy so if you are looking for something light and airy it might not be for you. Also, it could be a tough fit up top as someone else mentioned, I had enough to fill it in so it worked. Finally, the dress was pretty long on me even though I'm 5'8". I didn't mind the length, but others might want something shorter. I wear a 10 (M/L) in street clothes and the 10 dress fit perfect.

Dress fit great in the size four (I'm generally between a 4 and a 6) I'm fairly small-chestd so it wasn't too revealing but it definitely could have been on a larger busted girl. The dress was understated but a really beautiful silhouette and could be dressed up or down with accessories. I wasn't sure how formal to go at this party and it really fit in well. Great experience overall!

Fit and flares are my favorite style. I got so many compliments on this dress, and it fit perfectly! Very true to size in my opinion. It's a heavy weighted material, and it has pockets! I think it could work for any body type, and I can't wait to rent again. Thanks so much, RTR!

Great cocktail/gala look! Beautiful navy blue with gorgeous, structured fabric. Runs a tiny bit big so I could definitely have used a size up. The pockets were a fun surprise! Would definitely recommend for an easy, flattering fit.

I rented this dress to wear to Easter brunch-had the best white blazer that I planned to wear with it too...If you notice that I'm taking a selfie in a dressing room and not at my super snazzy brunch-it's because the dress came in and it absolutely swallowed me, the waist line was so big and belting it just looked off. It was too late to return by the time I got to where we were staying (traveled out of town for the weekend) so I figured I might as well wear it for the day to run some errands aka finding something else to wear. I still give this dress 4 stars because I LOVE CH, the price was incredible and the quality was there, just the complete wrong size. I wish other people would have reviewed it so I would have known. I had an 8, would have worked with a 4. Super cute, just order 2 sizes down-not kidding!

Beautiful material and cut of this dress but unfortunately I ordered my usual size (10) and the dress was very large and baggy on the top half, so much so that I could not wear it. Wish I would've ordered a smaller backup size!

I would like to start by saying that this dress is absolutely well made, exceptional detail and will make you feel like a princess. One benefit for your mental health is: you must size down. I know you read a lot of reviews and you never know who actually wears what size and who shouldn't actually be wearing that size.....but please believe me that the dress runs large. I rented this dress thinking that it wouldn't matter if the backup size was available or not and was caught off guard when it arrived too big. I put on a push up bra and clipped the inside to help the body or the dress tighten up and become more flattering so that I could try and wear it to a dinner party. I ended up contacting RTR and having them send me something else for the event I had rented for though. That said, you will LOVE this dress ( just get the correct size, or make sure to get a backup size). The dress is beautiful; the fabric detail, the neckline and the full skirt - it will make your event.

This dress was exceptional. I truly thought it was so beautifully constructed and so classy. I am currently nursing and didn't feel that the top was too revealing (I did wear a black bra underneath it). I am normally a size 6 but due to the snowstorm on the east coast I didn't end up getting the 6 and that one would've fit perfectly. The 8 was too big but since I didn't have a back up-we made it work!

The fabric feels very thick, but this dress was actually still very comfortable for a summer evening wedding. It flattered and could be worn to so many occasions, I kind of wish I owned it. It definitely requires a nice necklace, as the square neckline calls for it and frames something very well. Great for an hourglass figure as there is plenty of room in the bust and open hips, while still accenting the waist. I have somewhat small shoulders, so my only complaint might be that the straps have a bit more give than I might want, and I would take them in if it were a purchase.

Dress was beautiful with brocade pattern. I thought the top ran small. So I would not recommend if you are more than a B cup.

the dress is beautiful and fit well with no bra needed. the boning is coming out of the top near the underarm and did cut me at the end of the night but I was over all happy with this rental and I received many compliments.

I ha hoped to make this dress work, but the reviews are right -- you need to size down !!! I am 34-27-38 and was swimming in the size 4. Gorgeous dress, though.

This dress was very pretty, simple, but a LOT of fabric -- not necessarily a bad thing, but would be best on someone a little taller as the dress seemed to swallow my small frame.

This dress was sent to me when my backup became unavailable at the last minute. I received it in a size 6 and a size 8, the two sizes I normally wear, but neither fit my 36DD bust properly. I felt much too showy in the size 6, yet the size 8 felt too big in the bust. Since I was attending a conservative work holiday party, neither of dresses worked out. Regardless of the sizing issue, the dress is very pretty - the fabric has a nice weight and beautiful, subtle pattern.

I wore this dress to a gala - it is a beautiful thick fabric with a fitted bodice and flair. It fit perfectly and I got a lot of compliments.

A lot of people had said to size down, so I ordered a 4. The 6 was not available (my usual size), but the 8 was. Thank goodness it was, because there was no way that the 4 was going to fit. I have very broad shoulders and back- and that was the issue. The dress is a lot of fabric, is very heavy, and there's not a tremendous amount of give. It was bunchy in the back- but that wasn't a dress issue, it was a size issue. I think the 6 would have fit me (true to size). This dress would be awesome for someone who is pear shaped, apple shaped, etc... it is incredibly forgiving! It would also be great for the winter. It is a beautiful dress- it just wasn't on me.

This dress is cute but not great if you have any sort of chest. I made it work but was definitely the busty bridesmaid. Also was a bit on the small end - I am usually a 4.

The dress is stunning in real life. There was only one size available for the date I needed it, so I took a gamble and ordered the only size available near my dress size. I think because the dress is A line and I have a smaller chest/upper frame I could have gotten away with 6 or even a 4. The size 8 was just too much material. Great quality though, delivered on time. Just wish I had been able to get it in a smaller size as well.

This dress runs really large, and is long wasted. I was unable to actually wear this dress. Because this dress was a replacement from my original choice, I got it in a 4 in red and a 0 in navy (neither fit). I normally wear a 4 but the 4 was huge. The zero fit in the ribcage, but was way to long in the waste and large in the bust. You definitely need to be long wasted with a larger chest to wear this one. I liked the texture of the navy fabric better than the red version.
