Fit was true to size, I wore this for my engagement shoot and have received endless compliments on how beautiful the gown was. I highly recommend this dress for any black tie affair!

Me: 5'4", 34-27-37 Fit: I wear a size 6-8. This was a 4 and it fit like a second skin. Tight in the chest and hips, loose in the waist. The 6 would have been too big. Length: I wore 5" platform heels and that was perfect. Had I worn 3" heels, I would have needed the shorter length. Overall: I was complimented all night. I still get compliments.

The 8 fit perfectly in the bodice but was a bit tight in the hips so I wore the 10 and pinned in the bodice. A steam was essential to fan out the bow. This dress will not disappoint.

I was so happy I ordered this dress. I had my second baby a few months ago and still have an extra 15 lbs on my frame at the moment. Since I am wearing clothing in 3 different sizes out of my closet right niw I was very confused as to what size to order. The RTR specialists helped me figure it out after I took measurements. The 10L fit like a glove. I am 5 ft 8.5 in and the long was barely long enough. I wore short heels and wouldn't have minded a bit of extra length at the bottom, but I don't think it was noticeably too short. The material is very high quality and feels beautiful. That being said, it does not have a lot of give. I was very comfortable walking and dancing, biut sitting for dinner was somewhat challenging. I just had excellent posture all night long. If you are going to an event where you will be sitting the majority of the evening, I would consider a different dress. I was worried about the size of the bow on the shoulder, but it was not obnoxious and just looked very high fashion. It did not bother me at all. I put in a close up so you can see the size of the bow by my head. The train in the back is beautiful and not too long. The zipper is very well hidden and somewhat awkward to zip up yourself, but not impossible. I got endless compliments all night and felt very beautiful, which is amazing because this extra baby weight can do a number on your body image. If you rent this dress, I highly recommend an updo on the opposite side of the bow. My hair was really pretty. But I got tons of comments on the beauty of the simple updo with the asymmetrical dress. I had to wear a bra because I'm breastfeeding and needed nursing pads, but I think you could get away without one if your breasts are a C cup or smaller.

I am total pear shaped-- I am very small at top so I had to pin it a little so it wouldn't gape but it fit well in the hips!

My original dress was delayed and wouldn't arrive in time. Rent the runway overnight this dress for free. I was very pleased with the service.

I would not have picked this dress for myself. Thank goodness that RTR picked it for me. The fit was perfect. Simple and Elegant. And it has pockets!!!!

I usually wear a size 2 but the stylist recommended I try a size 0; it fit like a glove. It was a little bit long thus I wish I ordered a regular instead of long. The fabric is stiff, not elastic thus the fit was perfect. I was really happy with the gown and highly recommend it to anyone attending a wedding or black tie event.

This dress was beautiful and made the night unforgettable. The one unfortunate thing was that getting it was a bit of a stroke of luck and Rent the Runway generosity. My original order of 2 sizes of the Badgley Mischka Miss Mysterious gown was botched when late at night the evening before the package was to arrive, I was told via email that one of the sizes was out of stock and RTR had taken the liberty of choosing a random other dress it considered comparable and sending that instead of the second size. I was naturally unhappy with this development. However, RTR also offered to either reimburse me or send an additional dress of my choosing. The first dress I requested also happened to be out of stock, which I learned the next morning. At that point, I was ready to panic since my event was the next day. This was the second dress I chose, and thankfully RTR said it would send it even though it was significantly more expensive than the original dress! RTR overnighted it to me, and it fit, thank god. The only thing is that the train was longer than I expected, and I had to walk very carefully. The length was almost there. My heels were 3 inches --3.5 would've been slightly better. I got over 15 compliments the evening of the ball and never felt so fabulous in my life, so things worked out in the end, thanks to RTR's quick remedy to their mistake!

The dress fit perfectly. The length was great, which was one of my concerns (I wore approx. 4-inch heels). I really loved the small train at the back which really added some drama to the dress. The pockets were a cool touch, but the dress bunched up a bit where the pockets were, making it sort of look like a pouch at times so I kept on having to adjust it. Besides that, it was a great dress that I highly recommend.

Fit snug on top....didn't need a bra! I am a 34 D and the 6 fit perfectly. 5'7.........the regular length is perfect.

This dress was perfect for my night at the Metropolitan Opera. It was the best choice! Love, love, love the bow! I received compliments all night.

I decided not to wear this dress. I wore the backup dress instead. This dress was not very flattering on me. I am 5'2 and this dress is very long even with my 5 inch hills. The bow seems too awkward and the dress doesn't give me a nice silhouette.

I ordered this in a 4L and only an 8L came so it was too big but I'm sure it would have been nice if I got the right size!!!

I really wanted to like this dress, but it is far too snug on the hips. The waist fit fine, but the fit on the hips so tight that I could not wear this dress. The material is great, and it is a beautiful dress, but I recommend going up 1 to 2 sizes if you have full hips.

Unfortunately this dress didn't fit. It has ZERO stretch and my hips/butt are bigger in proportion to my top half. SO SAD I couldn't wear this gorg dress. I would recommend sizing up, especially if you have hips/booty!

I usually wear a 10 but I have a full bust. This dress has no stretch at all. The waist and hips fit and looks gorgeous but the bust didn't fit at all, way too small. If you have a large bust, you may not want to order this dress.

I usually don't leave reviews but I had to make an exception. This was my first time renting clothing from an online site. And honestly this experience was so seamless! It really was amazing, the dress fit perfectly and was just as beautiful as the photo online. The return process was simple as well, not to mention it was quite affordable! Great Job Rent The Runway! I will be renting again soon.
