In many ways this dress reminded me of those cartoons of people wearing empty wooden barrels as clothing, two straps at the top like suspenders to hold it up. Google “bankruptcy barrel” if you don’t follow. Indeed, the material, though described as polyester, feels much more like some of my heavier duty Patagonia coats; good to know that this dress hold up in a snowstorm. Yet, despite these seemingly disqualifying elements—or, dare I say *because* of these bizarro features—this dress is amusingly lovely. The top is corseted and small; heads up there. The ties are yours to adjust. From there, you really are wearing a tent, and a very breathable one at that. Who knew gore-tex was light as linen in stifling summer heat?! You can wear this with flats during the day or add a kitten heel to go out at night. My only hesitation in recommending this dress wholeheartedly is the top, corseted part: it is tight and as other reviews have suggested may be better suited for smaller-chested ladies. Even if this dress isn’t for you, give this designer a chance. You’ll be happy you did!

I felt so gorgeous in this dress. Definitely intended for smaller chests, but it worked well for me. I did not need to wear a bra but a strapless still could have fit underneath. The fabric is almost structured, which is part of what I loved about it.

Obsessed with this one! Fits like a glove. Straps tie at the top so you can adjust as needed, empire waist which is perfect for a comfortable dinner date, bust would work well for smaller chested gals as well! A must rent!

Loved this dress! Bust area on top was definitely on the smaller side making it a bit low, but not a big issue.

I was worried about how the chest part would fit and if I'd be spilling over but it actually fit fine. I'm a 34c/36b for reference. I like the adjustable shoulder straps to secure in place. The dress steamed just fine. The material was tarp like which didn't bother me and really gave it the structure you see in the photo. Tad noisy if you're walking alone lot but I wore for a work event and then for Easter. This type of dress is the reason I love RTR. Def on the trendier fashion side and not something I'd buy but I loved wearing it when I rented it. Also had pockets.

If the girls are small, this dress is STUNNING. I am a small 34B and wore the dress with no bra, just some small Boomba bustier chicken cutlets to give me a bit more umph and *chefs kiss*. Definitely would not recommend for you more blessed girlies.

Very cute dress, especially for the small chested girls like me. It fit perfectly but the boning and lining were a bit uncomfortable. I wouldn’t have been able to handle wearing this dress all day, but for a date night dinner, it was perfect. Love that it has pockets also.

order based on your chest size! plenty of room in the skirt. super flattering on small chests.

material is very crinkly/taffeta/stiff. a very dramatic, fun shape! wore with knee high boots. the bust area cups are VERY small, anyone with any boobs would not be able to make this work.

Ordered a size up and it was still too tight on the chest. I am an A cup.. Back zipper was also very difficult to zip.

I loved the design of this dress but it is not designed for anyone bigger than a B Cup. I was spilling out and couldn’t wear it to the event.

not sure who this would fit. I'm pretty small and the cups were too small for my boobs. the dress not only looks like a bag, but FEELS like tarp. avoid!!!
