Wore this lovely dress to my Brother in law's wedding ceremony. It was conservative enough for a Catholic mass, but the black sparkly details and the cap sleeves made this dress stand out.

No gapping in the arm pits, waist was true to size. Very comfortable, no itchy material despite the sparkly, heavier fabric. This is a bit shorter than I normally prefer by about 2 inches. My normal preference is just above the knee.

The fit was perfect for me. The fabric has a lovely embroidered sheen that is not flashy but still dresses it up.

This was not the dress that I had originally picked out for a formal work event, but RTR sent it to me as a back-up size dress when the dress I had originally ordered was not ready to be shipped. I don't think I would have ever picked this dress out for myself, so I am so happy that someone did this for me. I ended up liking this dress more than the one I had picked out and wore it instead. It was so comfortable, fit just right, and I got so many compliments. Thanks, RTR!

I rented this dress for a black tie optional gala. I have a hard time finding long dresses that fit my frame (I'm 5'2", 135) so I tried this shiny little blue dress and loved it. It was super comfortable and very flattering. I have an athletic build, so something like this fits in all the right places. Great details. I'm a solid size 8 and it was perfect.

This dress is gorgeous. As some others state, it does have a bit of sparkle in it - which adds a nice touch. I'm pretty tall, I think this is just at the cusp of being an acceptable work length - perfect if you are going straight out after work. The sleeves are slightly different - they are more capped and make your shoulders look a bit broader. I love it, will definitely rent again

I rented this dress for a work conference and cocktail party afterward and it was perfect. It is hard to find a dress with sleeves that looks professional for work that will transition to an after work event. This one is great! The fabric is pretty thick and it is not too short (if you are under 5'6" probably). Highly recommend!

I rented this for work and it was a bit dressier than I pictured due to the sparkly black. Still worked for the office with pumps and a blazer. Runs a bit large and fabric is stretchy, so go down if you're between sizes. Beautiful dress!

The dress fit well and was comfortable to wear. I liked the thicker fabric for a mid-December wedding rehearsal dinner.

The dress was beautiful and I really liked the black/sparkly pattern. The fit was a little big, I'm usually between and 4 and 6, but I think I might have been able to wear a 2. Length was great and the little cap sleeves were nice for the winter event. RTR dresses always make me feel special!

Great dress for work. Comfortable and roomy. Fit more like a sheath. Could be worn with any standard bra or undergarments. Loved the fun capped shoulders. Dress length was a little above the knee.

The fabric is beautiful and it is well made! The sleeves are a little different, but overall great dress! I would have wore the 4, but I am still breast feeding and it was too tight in the bust. Wonderful flattering dress post baby!

True to size, comfortable, not too long or too short. The sparkles were a great added touch. I wore it with opaque tights and black heels.

Super comfortable and easy to wear all night. The cap sleeves/arm area was fine, not great, but it was worth it for the wearability factor. Even after we got home I didn't feel the need to change out of it right away. Wore with nude heels and a gold bracelet.

I ended up choosing the size 2 over the 4 primarily because the 4 seemed too wide in the shoulders for my petite frame. It hit me right at the knees which was perfect for the formal military event. I only knocked it down a star because of the weird armpit gap (you can see it in the pic) and the size 2 seemed to have many threads that stuck out just from people wearing it. Other than that, it was a great dress and I received compliments from all the military wives. The simple, modest, silhouette was perfect for the event, but made it stand out (in a good way) with the pattern. I wore navy heels and kept it simple with just stud earrings, bracelet and a black clutch. :)

Great dress on my size! I wore a camisole under to remedy the cut in by the sleeves others described. Not too short on a short girl, not too tight on a 34DD chest.

Rented this same day for a formal event after work (alumni gala event for my alma mater... Colgate University... go gate!). Dress ran pretty true to size, maybe a tiny bit big. I am 5'1", and it hit just above my knees. Perfect with heels. Cupped sleeves didn't bother me that much (thought they would). Inside of my arms felt a little bothered by the end of the night, rubbing up against the side of the dress. Good dress overall.

Loved this dress. Especially the detailing. I'd order it again for sure. I wore it to work but it would be great for a wedding as well. I was worried it would be a tad too small since I'm a little bigger on bottom than on top... but true to size!!

The black detailing has a subtle sparkle to it, but it doesn't show up well in photos. I typically wear a 10, but wish I would have worn an 8 because it was big in the shoulders and bust. A cute option, but somewhat forgettable in comparison to all of dresses I've rented from RTR. Cap sleeves are very flattering and dress has sight stretch to it, so you can move and dance easily.

Pros: the cap sleeves! The length was perfect for work and the material was thick Cons: the black detail does have some shimmer to it, so it may be too fancy for some for work. Also i did a size 6 and could have done the 4. You can see it's loose in the stomach area from my picture

This dress worked really well for my event. It has a little sparkle in the black 'tinsel' like details of the dress. It had a little stretch when I sat down, but held its shape really well. One thing I thought was awkward at first was the cut of the arm pit. It did help with range of motion, in that the dress did not ride up when I lifted my arms, so that was nice. One last note...I am a size larger on my bottom half, and the dress worked well for that.

I did not end up wearing this dress for the event, as there was a different option that fit me better. I found that this dress was a bit big in the chest/shoulder area, and the sleeves were just ok. The bottom half fit pretty well, but didn't thrill me. It comes off as darker than the image may suggest. I did like the fabric, which was thick and well-put-together.

Comfortable, fits well. I ordered it so I'd be able to wear it to work, with the cap sleeves. But the arm holes are just odd- showed too much underarm, so I didn't wear it. The shiny black embossing also gives a bit more formal look.

I liked the fit and the color/design on the dress - but it felt like I had shoulder pads on or something - they just stuck out too far - so I didn't end up wearing.

I loved this dress color and cut. Unfortunately the puffy shoulder sleeves were way too big on me and made it look like I was wearing football pads.

The dress was nice. Very comfortable. Beautiful color, and it fit well except for the armholes. I'm not sure if it was due to the sleeves puffing out a bit, or it was stretched. There was just an awkward gap in that area between the arm and the chest which I kept having to adjust.
