Loved this dress for work. Would rent again

This dress is classic and a perfect professional dress! It really can be used for a weekend event, wedding weekend, business dinner...etc. If you're looking for a classic look, this is the right dress. The fabric is thick and comfortable. I wore it for 10 hours and it was comfortable all day. It does hang down, it's not right or fitted and there is a lot of room, but it hangs really nicely. Highly Recommended!

Loved this dress. The fabric was a nice weight that hung perfectly and did not wrinkle. I'm tall and often have trouble with dresses not fitting properly in the waist, this one was loose enough that it was not noticeable that it was not right at my waist but fitted enough that it still had a shape to it. Length was perfect. I loved it and received a lot of compliments.

Wore back to back weekends including a brothers rehearsal dinner in Atlanta and at wedding in South Carolina! Also was able to wear to work in same week.

I wore the dress for a day of meetings then boarded a plane to Vegas, and the dress was perfect for both occasions! It's cut and length are pretty conservative, but it did show off my shape as well. For what it's worth, I don't think my boyfriend has ever complimented an article of clothing as emphatically as this dress.

I was upset when the dress I originally ordered came in damaged. RTR sent a dress the THOUGHT would be comparable, but it was WAY off the mark in style, and no time to order anything else shipped to me in Washington. Luckily, the customer service agent told me RTR had a store in Georgetown. I raced by and found this little number -- liked it better than what I'd originally ordered! Very classy, high quality and different dress, with its own "built in" necklace of sorts. My husband loved it and I turned heads! It's a sheath, so is comfortable if you're eating a big dinner!

Wore this for our engagement photos this summer and it was great. Such a classic dress that will make photos timeless. The navy was very stunning - not a dull navy color. The fit was looser in the front so it's not a fitted tight dress by any means.

I ordered a 12& 14. I am 27 weeks pregnant in the photo. The 12 was still a little big but the way I'm carrying this was the only outfit that fit. I ordered two other suits, but this was comfortable and fashionable. The dress is pretty conservative to one Id normally wear. The neckline has gold accent. I actually cut the tags off so the dress was brand new. RTR saved the night again! It's difficult to feel glamorous when's you're expecting and have to find a new style.

This was not the first dress I chose to wear. However, my original dress came in and it didn't fit. The Rent The Runway customer service was absolutely AMAZING. The dress I was gonna wear ended up being unavailable, but I found another dress (this one) and they overnighted it to me. The dress was comfortable and classy. I really loved it!

The material was very nice. I was attending a somewhat conservative event and didn't want a dress that was too revealing. This dress fit the bill. I am petite and the length was nice, still short enough. The fit was a bit too baggy, would have liked it more fitted.

Wore this to a fundraising brunch and the dress fit perfectly! I literally picked it out in the store the night before the event, and I was worried RTR wouldn't come through. I was wrong! I received so many compliments on this shift dress - it's elegant and needs little accessorizing. I am 5'4" and a traditional hour glass shape, and I was surprised with how the shift dress worked for my body shape.

The perfect dress for a low key event. It ft alittle weird in the chest but nothing too noticeable or bad where I didn't want to wear it. I definitely recommend for a less fancy occasion.

I rented this dress for my boyfriend's work holiday party, and it was perfect! The beading around the neckline is very pretty, and I loved the way the back of the dress was cut around my shoulders. Wish I could have kept it!

This was such a great dress and I will definitely rent it again. The material is of very high quality and there is actually a bit of a sheen on the dress. The built in necklace means you can throw this piece on and go! I wore this to an awards dinner at work with a black blazer and it looked really great. It's a little short when seated (I'm only 5'2 so this might be a bigger issue for anyone taller), but the length was great when standing. Did not wrinkle very much through the work day. Not tight on the rear.

I received this dress as part of my unlimited membership - one of my favorite things so far. I wore it to a customer marketing event and it was perfect for the occasion. The fabric is thick and wrinkle resistant, which makes it very versatile. The dress was also the perfect length for me to wear for with customers. I like that the neck accent was black as it allowed me to mix and match between the colors. I paired it with a black leather short jacket to give it a more modern look.

I really liked this dress! It fits true to size and is comfortable and classy! I find a lot of the dresses I have ordered have run pretty small. I am a true size 8. This was a backup dress because they didn't have my original back up dress available, but I am so glad it wasn't! I wore this dress to my husbands work christmas party and needed a classy dress. I wasn't really too excited about this one when it was the one of the five I chose. My first dress ran extremely small and even though the 10 fit, it just wasn't very comfortable. This dress was perfect! Comfortable, classy and I got lots of compliments all night! It was a little long, but expected that since I am only 5'1". I didn't have time or I would have gotten some of the temporary hemming tape, but it was fine and above my knee. I would rent this dress again!

Wore this to a couple of parties and to work, and worked well. I usually don't go for a straight-through/shapeless dress, but this was surprisingly flattering. Nice dark blue color and beading at the neck makes this dress perfect for more conservative and serious events.

Throw it on and you are instantly put together. Very versatile for day to night or any time of year. Fits like a traditional shift dress

I probably could have worn a 6 - but my shoulders are broad and the 8 was more comfortable.

I wore this for a wedding that I went to in downtown Chicago. I got a 2 and a 4 because other reviews said it ran small. I ended up wearing the 2 and it war perfect! I got a lot of complements and it was a super comfortable dress to wear all night! The neckline was great because I didnt nee to worry about buying jewelry and could easily wear a regular bra. Would definitely rent again or even consider buying.

Received this dress as a back-up and, although a little skeptical at first, I ended up loving it! I was afraid that it was going to be a little too short for a wedding, but it hits right above the knee (I am 5'7" and wore 4" pumps). The material is thick which made it even better as it was rainy and cool the day of the wedding. I wore a pair of navy blue/black tights underneath with a black blazer and was very comfortable throughout the night after dinner and 2 cupcakes (don't judge!). Beading around the neck jazzed up this otherwise plain blue dress and I was able to wear a regular bra.

The dress was a little loser than I thought it would be - but I loved it! I paired it with a cute blazer and wore it to work and a networking event afterwards. I love the clean lines of the dress and simple top design!

Dress is easy and comfortable to wear. I wore it to a birthday dinner at a fine restaurant in Palm Springs and felt classy and appropriate. Its not a stunner, but a nice quality dress. I also wore it to the office with a long jacket and out to dinner with girlfriends and enjoyed it.

The deep navy fabric has a sophisticated sheen and is thick enough to skim over curves without revealing undergarment lines. The jeweled detail at the neck meant I could skip worrying about a necklace. It was wrinkled a teeny bit upon arrival after hanging in the bathroom during a steamy shower, they fell right out. Only small issue was that it wrinkled again slightly while sitting during the ceremony/dinner but not enough to notice much in photos. Overall, it was a flattering fit, perfect for a tamer wedding affair in which I had to do a reading during the ceremony, comfy for dancing and I didn't have to worry about neckline, adjusting straps, etc. Made for an easy and polished look.
