This dress was incredible. A bit snug for a 2, but it worked! The fabric and flow was gorgeous, and the interesting back and neckline are great. I only got the L because an R wasn't available, but with heels I made due. So many compliments on this dress, I'm definitely going to rent it again in the future!

The fit is fitted at the top and flows at the bottom.

I bought this as my backup, and didn't end up needing it! But when my best friend's dress didn't fit the day of prom, I gave this one to her and it fit her perfectly. Fit very true to size, stretchy fabric helped with problem areas, and she is 5'3 and in 4 inch heels it hit the floor perfectly. She looked absolutely stunning- the color is absolutely gorgeous!

This dress runs SMALL!! Order one or two sizes bigger than usual! It's also extremely long. I wore the regular length, am 5'5, and practically in stripper heels, and it was still too long.

This dress runs really small. I usually fit into size 0 from RTR. The 2L fit me everywhere but the bust area, so I wore the 4L. The 4L was not a perfect all over fit, but it was such a beautiful flowing gown that no one noticed but me. Also, all night long I got compliments on how stunning I looked. I would highly recommend this dress.

The dress fit well, and is lined in such a way that I didn't need a bra. My husband chose this dress when my original choice was damaged and couldn't be fixed in time for the gala--- benefitting autism. I knew that at some points of the night, all eyes would be on us. I'm fairly shy, and don't like to be the center of attention. This dress fit in with the other women at the gala, and because I felt beautiful and confident in it I was able to speak clearly and explain to donors and supporters what autism really is. The pictures don't do this dress justice. I thought that it looked a little odd by the picture, but it is a beautiful dress.

I was in NYC and visited their store, and it completely changed my idea for what I wanted for a prom dress. The fit of the dress made my slightly boyish figure look more feminine and polished. There is a ribbing on the side and it pulls you in but not too tight like a corset! I'm 5'6.5"ish, so average height, and with my 4-5" heels, the dress skimmed the ground perfectly. The lace overlay looks beautiful over the champagne satin and the entire dress flows beautifully. I felt beautiful, and many people gave me compliments about my dress!! It couldn't have been more perfect!!

I got so many compliments on this dress all night long! I chose the 4L rather than the 2L because the neck strap on the 2 was too tight. I wore this dress for almost 8 hours and didn't want to take it off. The best parts of wearing this dress were: 1. Fitted bodice so no need to wear a bra (I wore a Nu-bra but could have got away without it) 2. Flowing over hips and waist so I wore regular, comfy underwear 3. Long enough for me to wear comfortable shoes

The dress was actually a last minute replacement for the Rita dress that didn't get shipped to me on time. I am very happy with this last minute replacement, although my renting experience was quite stressful, not knowing if I was going to have a dress to wear. I ended up wasting three hours trying resolve the problem and be sure I had a dress to wear. Luckily this dress was GORGEOUS and UNQIUE. IT stood out, received tons of compliments and ended up being in multiple pictures in our on line paper. If I had it to redo, I would get the regular length for my height. Despite my tall heels, I was carrying the lace around all nights out wouldn't get stepped on by me, or others. Definitely made dancing a challenge. But was so worth it. I loved the dress!

It fit perfectly. I'm tall and the 10L was almost too long.

I rented this dress for my daughter to wear to the Coast Guard Academy Graduation Ball. As others have said, it runs very small. She normally wears a 2R and with this one even the 4R was a bit snug. This particular gown was not in pristine condition -- one under-wire was missing and the center front stay was poking through the fabric . She had to wear a band-aid so that the stay would not cut her skin. The regular length was perfect for a 5'5" woman with 4" heels. The design itself is gorgeous. Very comfortable and easy to move and dance in all evening. The *navy* color is slightly on the dark teal side and very pretty. Definitely recommend the style, but hopefully this particular gown will be taken out of rotation due to wear.

This service was overall very impressive. I live in a remote area, and the dress arrived on time (which I was a little surprised about). I took my measurements on the Catherine Deane website, so I didn't have an issue with the fit but it did seem a little snug. However, the dress does run long. I'm 5'9'' and without heels the 6R skimmed the ground. I also really enjoyed this dress because it provided enough support (for someone small chested) to go braless.

I originally rented the 6L and 8L. The 6L fit almost everywhere, however the neck area was too tight, and it ended up being too long. The 8L was incredibly comfortable, but this one was way too long, as well (even in 3 inch heels I was stepping on the gown). So I called and asked for RTR to send an 8R. They overnighted the 8R to my hotel for the cost of shipping (about $13), and I wore it to the formal that evening. It was a little shorter than I wanted (I wish there was a length between the long and the regular), but I was happy with the quality and fit otherwise. This dress has a built in corset and plenty of support. It is very comfortable and moves beautifully. No one else was wearing anything like it! I highly recommend this gown!

The only downsides for me were the neck - for me that was a bit tight but then my neck is not very dainty. Also if you are not sure what size to get you will want the larger size unless you are especially small-waisted. Also the "long" was way too long for me. I am 5'7". The regular would have been a much better choice.

This was a last-minute replacement dress sent to cover a HUGE shipping error on the nha khanh Drama gown; it turned out to be the perfect dress to wear to the Barrister's Ball at the National Aquarium. The color and every detail of the dress matches the picture (except the overlay is a bit heavier than the picture makes it appear). I got my regular dress size, a 10, and it fit perfectly. The bodice was a little loose, but the neck helped keep everything in place. The dress is fully lined, including support, so you can wear the dress without a bra, which I did, or with a Nu-bra, which is what I WISH I had done (I'm not as busty as some ladies). I wish I had requested the 10R because even though I'm 5'6" and was wearing 3" heels, I had to hold the dress up practically the entire night. I tripped (but never fell!) multiple times. As much as I loved the train-effect because of the length, it was tiring to hold the dress up for so long.

Great evening at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC for a gala event. It was the perfect dress. I was very happy to have chosen the regular length, because even with 4 inch heels I was still close to standing on the dress.

The fit was true to size. I was concerned about the snugness in the bust as there isn't any stretch. I was able to wear a supportive bustier underneath with ease. It did hold static electricity, and after sitting for dinner, there were wrinkle creases at the hip area, but overall, it was an elegant wear. The underlay is 100% silk and felt beautiful. I just wish the overlay flowed better and didn't stick to the fabric. I wore 2 inch heels and the dress just skimmed the floor. The service from RTR was beyond expectations. Last year I PAID $900 for a dress that because of overall fit I wouldn't wear again. RTR is my answer in the future.

I wore this dress for my senior prom and it was perfect. The dress was very comfortable and easy to move around in. The biggest plus was that the dress was almost too long for me, which was great for me, being 6'1"! Really stunning color and lace!

Absolutely stunning. I got compliments all night on this dress. Easy to wear, but be aware that the Long is very very long. I'm 5'7, wore 4 inch heels, and I still had to be careful. The neck is on the tighter side, I'm a 34C, and it fit very well. Plenty of room through the hips, but fitted through the ribs/stomach area.

This dress is absolutely stunning! I felt like a million bucks and received so many compliments! I would most definitely recommend this dress if you want to make a statement! This dress accentuated me in all the right places! The only two negatives were that it was tight in the waist and extremely long. I am 5'0 and wore 3" heels which brought the under lay to the appropriate length, but the lace was still dragging. I pinned it and used double sided tape, but it still was getting caught under my heels and was getting stepped on by my date.

The color is more of a teal despite it photographing more royal blue. The underneath is a nude color. I'm a 00 and wore a 4R. The 2 was tight!! I loved this dress!!

It is very fitted in the waist, so I went up a size. It is also VERY long. I am 5'8" and ordered a long, which I normally wear. It was too long- so I had to get really high platform shoes to make it work.

This dress had a very stiff zipper (hard to get on). It was tight over the chest and ribcage. I usually wear 6 however but that wasn't available.

Would work better for tall person. I'm 5'2" and with 3" heels needed some major fashion tape intervention to hem up the front and make the back look like a train. Waist fit perfectly but was super tight connecting the straps in the back that go around the shoulders (spine numbing). I got compliments and it looked nice but I'm not sure it was worth all the hassle.

The dress was just as pretty as I hoped it would be. It was slightly long but it didn't interfere with my wearing it.

It fit perfectly! I actually tried on this dress in the store in a 2 and a 4 where I am usually between a 2-4 in most clothing but the 4 in this style dress was more comfortable. I am petite, 5'2", and the regular (R) length size was perfect when I wore heels about 4 inches. It was in fabulous condition, looked brand new. It was extremely comfortable, easy to move in, but yet still form fitting, sexy and elegant. The open back and neckline were really pretty and unique, and this dress truly did stand out! Really the PERFECT dress for a formal/black tie event. Not too sexy and not tacky, it was truly classically elegant and unique. I received SO many compliments and I was beyond happy with this dress!!

This dress is very fitted around the abdomen and will accentuate a tummy, so be sure you have a flat one or wear spanx! I received many, many compliments on the dress during the occasion and afterward from pictures shared. While at the ball, I was asked to pose for a fashion photographer who proceeded to ask me several questions about the dress. I felt great in the dress and am thankful and happy that my first RTR experiencel worked out well. The first dress I ordered arrived with a ripped hem, and none of my other favorites were available

I actually didn't end up wearing this. Gorgeous gown, but after talking with a stylist I ended up renting the long. I am 5'9" and was wearing flats, and the dress ended up about 2-3 inches too long. Wish I would have gone with what all the reviews said and just ordered the regular length. I ended up wearing my back-up and really liking it, but would have gone with this one if I wouldn't have been picking it up all night to walk around in!

This dress is stunning. I could not walk 5 feet without someone complementing me on this dress. I felt like a princess.

The dress was a perfect fit and very comfortable! There are stays, and built in cups so no bra necessary (and I'm the type that needs the assistance of a bra!). I normally wear a 4 but adheared to the advice about this dress to go up a size, and the 6 was perfect.

I am normally a size 2 and could not zip up a size two. The size four fit perfectly.

It's small and long. Beautiful gown. But could not wear. I have never had a hard time wearing a 0 but this was very small for me and I think it's because I have a 32 D breast size. The length was long but I would be able to make work with 4-5 inch heels.

I have no hips and it made me look like my hips were enormous...very weird...

This dress was sent to me when the 2 dresses that I ordered were not available. The notes about the fit of the dress state that the dress runs small, which is quite true. I usually wear a size 2 or 4 in dresses that are fitted in the waist but flared in the hips, but in this dress the 4 was too small. As the 4 was the only size that was sent, I did not wear the dress. I think that you have to have a pretty stunning figure to pull this dress off.

This dress has a nude underlayer so be wary that it does not hide any flaws. Fits best with a flat stomach and very small waist.

Still very happy, although I did not get this dress for my 12th anniversary Cruise. Hope to get my dress some time this year for my next event. Love Rent the Runway, and can not wait for it to come to Canada.
