I ordered this dress for my junior prom and I felt like a princess! The fabric, the embroidery, the skirt was all just breathtaking. I received so many compliments throughout the whole night and it broke my heart when I had to send it back. It does run small so if you're a regular size 2 like me, go for the 4. Overall, gorgeous dress!

I LOVE THIS DRESS! I got it to wear for our engagement photos, and it was absolutely perfect! I ordered a 6R (because I usually wear a size 6) and a 10L because it was the only long size available. The 6 did fit, however was WAY too short, and I'm 5'8. So I went the 10 L simply for the length. So if you're on the taller side, absolutely go for the long sizes. It was incredibly comfortable and it flowed so beautifully. People walking by us during the shoot kept telling me how gorgeous the dress was. It is definitely a silver color, which the photo on the website doesn't really show it. I wore silver shoes with it and they matched perfectly.

This was a beautiful dress! I received countless compliments and would defiantly rent it again. The only thing I might do different is order the petite size, I'm 5'5" and wore 3" heels and it was slightly too long. It was still manageable though. Good thing RTR sends an extra size, I ended up wearing a size smaller than usual.

I wore this dress to the Tony Awards this past June and couldn't have been happier! It's extremely comfortable and the details are gorgeous. Also, it gives the appearance of being strapless but has mesh shoulders so I wasn't pulling the dress up all night. It is definitely true to size. I always go a size up because of my height but I shouldn't have for this dress. I ordered a 10 when I normally do an 8 and I had plenty of room. I think the 8 would have been more fitted and flattering, but I still loved it. The only con for me was the length. I am 5'11" and was wearing 4 inch heals and the dress was still scraping the floor so I was holding up awhile. I ordered to 10L because usually dresses hit me at ankle length, but for all you tall girls out there, the regular length will be fine! Despite my length issue, I still loved the dress and was so sad to send it back! I got many compliments, including some from celebrities! It made me feel like the star of the show and I'm so glad I rented it. I highly recommend!!

I rented this dress for engagement photos taken in a studio, then a nice dinner. I had read reviews that the dress ran large so I rented the 2r as well. I was worried because after I had placed my order i read more reviews that said it ran small. Luckily the 4r was perfect. I wore it without a bra because it has built in support, also if I tried to wear a bra it would have been too tight. The dress is very light and made of quality materials so feels super comfortable. The dress is not tight around the stomach so eating was comfortable. I had no issues with my order. The dress photographs beautifully. This was my first rental, I had tried before but they did not ship to Hawaii. I'm so happy they've opened this service to Hawaii. I already have my second rental ordered. I can't wait to order more!

I wasn't sure what size I was, but I ordered a 6R and 8R. I am between 5'10" and 5'11" and weigh about 140 lbs. The week of my event, I got an email from RTR saying that the 8R had been returned to them damaged beyond repair and asking me to choose a different dress as a replacement. So, they sent me this dress in 6R and another dress of my choice in 8R. I was very nervous, because there was nothing else like this dress and I was afraid the 6R wouldn't fit. Lucky for me, it fit great! I felt so beautiful and got so many compliments on this dress. I was afraid it would be white and look too much like a wedding dress, but as other reviewers said, though it photographs white the dress is definitely silver. I recommend silver jewelry and silver shoes. I bought fashion tape and ended up not needing it with this dress. You could wear it without a bra and be okay, but I wore a stick-on bra (I'm small chested and the stick-on bra creates a little cleavage that I prefer). I have an abnormally long torso which makes it difficult to wear fitted things, but this is only fitted at the top and worked fine for me. I probably could've work a 6L but that size wasn't an option when I ordered it. I wore it to a Marine Corps Ball. Bottom line--I give this dress to big thumbs up! I never wanted to take it off!

The dress fits perfect. I chose petite because when I read the comments said runs large and I made a good decision. I received too many compliments. I wore this dress for a black tie wedding and I love it.

The dress itself runs a little large, and the hem just barely swept the floor with my four inch heels. In fact, I was actually planning to wear a size 2R and got the 4R as backup, but unfortunately, a week before prom, I got an email from RTR telling me that the 2R was returned in poor condition and that I wouldn't be receiving it in time for my event. Naturally, I panicked, but everything worked out in the end because my free backup size fit, and just in case, the wonderful people at RTR sent me a 2R dress in a different style. I ended up wearing the 4R Rita, but nevertheless, I had a wonderful experience with the customer service. Every panicked email I sent about my new dress was answered in at least an hour, and the lady who was in contact with me (Natasha) was amazing. I know accidents happen, but RTR's awesome policy of a free second size saved my day.

I fell in love with it. I had to get a 4L because there was no 4R available for the date I needed. I rented it for prom and got compliments all night. Definitely would rent it again and recommend it to anyone.

I can't say anything bad about this dress. I was worried it would be too small, as I saw some had said that, but it wasn't for me. I have a smaller bust though and can see how it would a bit more difficult for someone with a larger bust. I was worried it would look to wedding-like for my senior prom, but it didn't at all. It was more of a silvery color rather than white. The design is so beautiful and it was also extremely comfortable, which helped. I hated sending it back because I really felt like a princess in it and I received so many compliments throughout the night. It was long, but I am short at 5'3, so that's probably why. I definitely loved it and would absolutely recommend it.

I LOVE this dress. I wore it for prom and it was fabulous. It runs a little small in the bust, and the detachable straps that were supposed to come with the dress were not there...but otherwise it was great. It's very silvery in person...no worries if you think it looks too much like a wedding dress.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I wore it to my senior prom and I had no problem with it at all! I'm usually 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. The dress itself, minus the sheer, is not strapless! It is connected to the sheer shoulders so it stays up over your bust! However, the dress was a bit long and I had to hold it up basically all night, but to me, it was worth it because I loved it so much. I was even told that I had the best dress at prom! If you're on the fence, just get it already!!!

(Typical Dress Size varies between 2 and 4) I ordered this very last minute, so although I should have worn a 2R I ended up just ordering the 4L because I knew I had to have this dress. Despite being too large, it was so hip and unique, yet so elegant and graceful at the same time. If you want to stand out without wearing a super revealing dress, this is definitely the one. The back is actually a zipper with three buttons on the neckline, but I like it better that way. This dress gave me the confidence to have one of the best nights of my life. Tears will definitely be shed when I send it back tomorrow. Also, the thank you to the great customer service and stylists at RTR!

I ordered two dresses, but as soon as I saw this dress and put it on, I knew this was the dress I wanted! The dress is so gorgeous and detailed. The embroidery is very neat and beautiful. I normally wear petit 0, but this 2P dress size fits perfectly. It could be too small for those who have bust size larger than B though. The cutting is so neat that the waist line sits tight on my body, but still made me so comfortable moving around the event that was held in a huge museum. One small drawback was one of the strap on the dress was broken, but wasn't my problem because the dress was so well tailored and fit me like gloves.

This dress is magic! I wore it for my senior prom and got double takes and glowing compliments all night. The filigree silver embroidery was my favorite part; it looks and feels fabulous, like a fairy princess gown. So unlike any other gown there! It's not strapless, so I didn't have to worry about it falling down at all. I was worried about matching the color to my date's vest and whatnot, because the picture doesn't show the real color, really. It's actually a pearly gray, not silver and not cream or oyster or champagne as I thought. We ended up matching perfectly just by chance. I wore gray flats and the dress was about 1" off the ground. A corsage with assorted purple roses looked lovely with it. It was a little bit of a struggle to zip up the last inch of zipper, but once it was all the way up, I could breathe and bend easily. It is pretty transparent from the waist down because the skirt is just a layer of sheer satin, then tulle. It was lightweight and perfect for an April evening in North Carolina. It took me a while to say goodbye to it!

The dress ran a lil small. She is a size 5 and the dress was a 6R, it fit perfectly. The detail on the dress is beautiful. The only downside to the dress was the edges. the tulle was ill cut. We didn't like it but everything else about the dress made up for it. Brianna received compliments all night long. She took a picture with a friend in a similar dress, but it was very obvious the quality of Briannas' dress was better. We will be back to this site for future events.

I wore this beautiful gown for prom, and despite never having tried it on beforehand it was absolutely perfect! The amazing fit, delicate details, and billowy length made me feel nothing less than regal, and I received countless compliments that night. The 2R size, however, wouldn't have worked at all for bustier girls, so please take note of the fact that it is quite fitted at the top (similarly you do not have to wear a bra with this dress, as other reviewers have commented). Overall at an unbelievable price and such unparalleled quality I will definitely be renting from RTR again next year!

It ran true to the size I normally wear in dresses. The gown is not white as the picture appears but a silvery gray.

I wore this dress for a winter formal, and it made me feel like an ice princess (in a good way)! The intricate embroidery on the bodice adds an ethereal flair to it and the fabric is flowing and full. Even though it was a long dress, I was able to walk (carefully) with 3-inch heels without tripping on the hem. It was also a comfortable dress, and I felt that I did not need to wear any bra underneath; the structured corset underneath provided enough coverage.

Beautiful gown. Could not say enough about it. It did run small, but I anticipated it after reading other reviews. The color is a light silver, not ivory. I did have some static cling issues but that was fixed easily. Overall, the perfect gown.

This dress just flows when you walk and looks elegant. It is also very comfortable and still flattering. I routinely wear size 10 and this was even a little loose through the bodice.

I wasn't expecting to feel so vintage/glamorous; the fit was obscenely perfect and the color (in person, it's more of a silver-gray) was gorgeous. The transparent tulle and embroidery up top is beautiful. I felt like a Disney princess (post-revamp). I don't know when I'll get to wear a dress this spectacular again. *No need for a bra with this dress--there is reliable built-in support!

The bust was a little big for me, but might fit a C cup perfectly. Everything else ran true to size. One thing that was initially a disappointment for me is that it appeared more white in the model photo, but is actually a definite champagne color. It ended up being beautiful though. Perfect for a simple wedding dress.

This dress was amazing!! The online photos do not do it justice. I got compliments all night at our event. The dress has beautiful draping around the bodice with lace detailing and the skirt is an amazing cascade of gossamer fabric and moves beautifully as you walk around. It looks even better in person than in the photos--the dress is actually silver and slate grey, but in the photos of the model it looks off white. Also, the dress was a bit long I wore a 4" heel and I am 5'5". Overall, an absolutely stunning dress I would highly recommend it!

This dress is GORGEOUS!! As soon as I opened it I could not wait to put it on. It fit extremely well except that it was a little long. I'm 5'4" and usually wear a size 0 so the 2 was a little big but I was so comfortable all night. You don't have to wear a bra because there's a built in bustier. I will say, make sure you're wearing nude panties as the tulle in the front is a tad sheer. It looks nude in pics but it's actually a very light slate gray with silver. It's absolutely gorgeous and I felt like a movie star. My boyfriend told me all night how gorgeous I was and he wasn't the only one. Literally every female we passed stopped me about my gown. I definitely recommend this!

I wore this dress for my husband's battalion ball. As other reviewers have stated, it definitely is more of a silvery color than it appears online. I usually wear a size 10 and this fit pretty much true to size, maybe even a teensy bit large. Also, the illusion neckline is a bit long so if you don't have a large bust and the top is a bit loose on top the sweetheart neck might fall a bit low. My only real complaint is that the dress was way too short. I am only 5'3" and wore 2" heels and the regular length dress was almost up to my ankles. What was super strange was that the tulle hit the floor, it was just the lining that was short. It made me a bit insecure all night and definitely showed up in our photos. Still, it was a beautiful dress with stunning details. I felt that it was extremely figure-flattering and would definitely recommend it to others.

This dress is beautiful! I loved the way that it flowed as I walked. My husband told me that I looked like a princess in it. The color is a bit hard to describe. It's like a dull silver color I guess. I gave this dress only 4 stars because it does run small so I rented a 4P as my back up. The 4P gave me a little more wiggle room but it was too short. So I squeezed in the 2R. When I wore the 2R, it didn't give "the girls" enough room so I wore it without a bra. There's boning on the inside so that helped hold the girls up all evening. I probably won't rent this again but I really did enjoy wearing this dress.

Fits well, but if you're very busty I wouldn't recommend it. It's beautiful and extremely comfortable. True to size.

The dress was stunning, I got a ton of compliments, (my roommate and I both rented from RTR for the event). It was a little tight around the bust, but I'm a little top heavy. Also, more silver/grey than the online picture lets on. Overall- it was the perfect dress for the event. I'm sure it would make anyone feel like a princess!

I absolutely love this dress. It is truly beautiful, and I felt amazing in it. It wasn't annoying at all to deal with, and I got compliments left and right. As for it looking like a "wedding dress" it photographs whiter that's it actually is, it actually very much silver. As for the fit, it was very small in the bust. This is coming from someone who has a VERY small bust. Please get a size larger if avalible.

Dress smelled like warehouse, mothball like when we first took it out, but nothing a little airing out didnt't fix. Dress fit was pretty true to sIze, but the bust area was a bit loose. She wore size 8R and has an A cup size, so a push-up bar was necessary to make the bust area on the dress look filled in. Color was a bit off from the model picture. It looked pistachio champagne on the website and was described as so, but it looks much more light grey champagne in person. The picture we uploaded is true to color. Another detail was the buttons on the back. On the website, the back has a line of buttons from the nape of neck to waist. But what we received, the back only had three buttons at the neck followed by a long oval keyhole to the back zipper. Little details...all in all, it was still worth it though. She received many compliments on the dress, even from people she didn't know. She seemed really happy in it and no one else had a similar dress. :)

I wore this dress for my prom and I was very happy with it! The back of the dress actually has a zipper instead of buttons, but I think that makes it easier to fit into. The 4L that I was a little long on me (5'10") but it was manageable. If the dress comes with straps, you don't need to wear a bra because there is one already built in. All in all, a REAL DEAL for the price. Thanks RTR!

The fabric is beautiful; a hard color to judge from the photos. More of a silver-gray than what you see online. I took a picture of my silver shoes (wore with another dress) next to the dress to help you judge the color. Also, the back is only 3 buttons, not fully buttoned as the model image shows. I am petite and I felt that this dress was not as flattering as other dresses I've rented- too much fabric on a small person I think. It's a beautiful dress and I think if I were taller I would have liked it better on me. It does run small in the bust as others have stated. I normally wear size 2 and I couldn't even zipper the 2 in this dress.

I think this dress would be a knockout in the correct size on someone with the right coloring. The dress is a little more grey/beige than I hoped, and I probably needed an 8P. The dress I ended up wearing was an 8P, but I was scared off by the reviews of this dress running tight in the bust and waist. As you can see in the pic (ignore my napping husband's arm) it was just kind of blah and a little loose in the middle and bust. The shoulder proportion and length were perfect (go petites!) The dress is beautiful detailing wise. A little staticky so if you rent, be sure to have scotch guard or similar to keep it from clinging.

This dress was perfect. First, it looked like it could be a wedding gown, which was important to me because I still wanted to look like the 'bride' during the after-party, but I wanted to be comfortable. The dress was SUPER comfy - it felt like a night-gown. I wore it with flat sparkly flip-flops and it was a bit too long, but I just couldn't stand in heels for another second, and it only touched the ground. Didn't prevent me from walking around or dancing. It fit perfectly, and didn't require any different undergarments than those I was already wearing for my wedding gown. It looked beautiful and I got several compliments on it. I would highly recommend this dress.

I rented this dress for my sorority formal, but didn't actually end up wearing it to my event! It's a really pretty silvery-grey, and definitely not as white as it comes off in the picture. For me, it was a little too tight in the chest, but I have a larger rib cage and tend to need to size up in fitted dresses as a result, so it wasn't a huge surprise! I really wish I could've worn it because it was absolutely gorgeous! It got a lot of compliments just hanging up in my room!!
