bodice had some form to it which was nice, a little room for belly with the layers. I wasn't sure if I'd need 6 or 8, but I tried the 8 and it was perfect, not snug, but definitely could not have gone smaller.

This dress was great for a black tie wedding. It was a bit long so I had to use hem tape to shorten it a bit. But other than that it worked out.

Overall, I loved wearing this dress for an indoor black tie wedding in August. The reviews about it running large helped me decide to order the 4L even though I'd normally wear a 6L. I'm 5'8" and about 128lbs with approximately a 34C bust size (I think!). The best features of the dress were that I could wear a regular bra and the pattern on it doesn't show any body imperfections. It's fairly light weight so I wasn't too hot for a summer wedding. When water from my water glass spilled on the dress, it wasn't noticeable so it was very forgiving in all the right ways! I wore kitten heels with it and it was the perfect length. The cons were that the lining seemed not quite aligned with the dress itself and it did bunch around my waist a bit if I didn't tug it down to be just right. It was also a little scratchy under the arms.

Dress was perfect for charity event. Would definitely recommend it. The fit was great. Was concerned at first about narrowing at the bottom then discovered the zipper at bottom. Runs a little long but overall was great!

I really enjoyed this dress and got many compliments! I loved that you could adjust the bottom zipper in the back to your preference. And I could also wear a regular bra! Great for our military ball!

This dress is gorgeous and comfortable! Unfortunately, the 8L was all that was available at the time but I decided to try it anyway and it was too long for my height. It was even too long to wear a tall heel with. It was flattering, classy and an overall beautiful dress. I normally wear a size 6 or 8 and this was comfortable for me without being too tight.

Loved the dress! I’m typically a size 2 and this fit but was definitely snug. If between sizes (2 and 4) may want to go up.

I was surprised how much I liked this dress. I received so many compliments (both patrons and hospitality staff alike). The only thing that I didn’t like was the middle would bunch up due to there being no lace around the waist (part of the design. I’m 5’8” and the Long was perfect with 2 inch heels. Just barely skimmed the floor. Also nice was being able to adjust the slit in the back; allowed for easier walking (hidden zipper for this). Also, I get nervous with sleeves because my arms are bigger, but these cap sleeves are very oversized, so plenty of room!

I'm 5'2 and the dress fit perfect with 4 inch heels. I ended up tucking the front of the dress up a bit so I didn't trip while walking. Would rent this again!

This was sent to me as a back-up to the back-up dress after what I originally selected wasn't available. It's definitely pricier than what I would typically rent so props to RTR customer service for sending it in place of what I had paid for! It was absolutely gorgeous and I got so many compliments on it. Perfect for a very formal winter wedding and so comfortable.

This dress was amazing. I had to go the the RTR showroom in Chicago last minute as my original order had an error. Erica in the showroom helped me quickly pull some other formal dresses to try on. This was an upgrade in price from my original order but I didn't care! Once I put the dress on I never wanted to take it off. I'm normally a 4-6 (smaller on top, bigger on bottom) but this was perfect in the 2L with some high heels. I highly recommend this dress!

I loved this gown. Perfect for the GRAMMYs and the after-parties. I didn't realize that the back slit was a zipper so you can adjust it until I was taking it off. Lots of compliments all night.

I loved this dress. It's conservative but nips in at the waist and the length makes you look very lean/skinny. It has a zipper on the bottom in the back so you can move around. The 2L was the perfect length but i wore 4 1/2 inch heels.

I wore this to a black tie wedding and absolutely loved it. The design made my waist look smaller and I liked that it wasn't backless or low cut like so many formal gowns are. Elegant and classy but still fun!

I really loved the look of this dress. My only issue was that it was a little bit too long. Even with four inch heels, it was hitting the ground. It was also a little bit tight around my legs. Luckily there is a zipper at the bottom that allows you to adjust the slit. Even with that, it was a little tight, but still ok to dance in!

I wish it were available in a Regular instead of Long. I'm 5'6" and even with 3" heels it was dragging on the floor. I hemmed it 2 inches with fashion tape. Not ideal bc then you lose the pretty scalloping at the hem and with the lining it got kinda "bunchy" and didn't want to stay put. Fortunately I was seated most of the evening.

This is a very pretty dress, but it runs small so I sent it back. However, I would try to rent it again in a larger size.

I can wear most size 4s, but this was a very snug, straight fit. Beautiful fabric- wish I could've worn it!

The fit was very good, however I found the style to be aging.

Loved the look and fit of this gown. It was formfitting but still very comfortable. The only thing that was meh was the fabric underneath, which peaked out from under the dress too much. I ended up giving it a quick temporary hem and it worked fine! I am 5'7" and wore 4-inch heels, and the dress hit the floor. I also have quite a large bust compared to my frame, and even though the dress isn't super stretchy it fit quite well! Would definitely recommend.

This fit like a glove, with a beautiful silver overlay - The slit at the bottom of the dress (in the back) can be adjusted with a zipper, which is a nice feature.

I absolutely loved this dress. I felt sexy, amazing, and beautiful. It was too warm for me for a hot spring day but it was truly a beautiful well cut dress. I am a pear shape and it was gorgeous. Long was very long, I probably would rent again but a regular for my height.

I rented this as a back back up for a spring wedding in St. Augustine. My primary rental was perfect for the occasion, but I tried it on anyway. It was so gorgeous I will definitely rent it in the future. Definitely a sliming dress

I am 5'9 and weigh 125. I usually wear a 2. The 2 was great in the store but the back up 4 was more comfortable. I have a hard time finding dresses that are long enough. This was perfect with 3 inch heels. Finding the right earrings was a challenge. I never did find a great pair.

I felt quite elegant in this. I would normally wear an 8/10 in most mainstream stores (5'10'', 155lbs). In this dress I got both the 6L and 8L, and the 6 was much, much better. My bust is small, so perhaps this is why is fit better. I really enjoyed this dress as a chance to try something different. Oh! And I didn't realize for awhile that there is a zipper on the bottom of the dress to allow one to increase the size of the back slit to make it easier to walk!

This dress is beautiful and comfortable. You can wear normal hosiery. You will need your tallest heels, it’ll still be long unless you’re a gazelle, and it stands out elegantly. Only knock on the stars is because I thought my bra had popped a wire, but it was the boning inside the dress poking me. It just started part way through the evening so not sure about that. It was warped or some such. The dress fit in with the evening.

Wish they had a regular length and a size 0! A bit hard to walk in but gorgeous dress, stood out from all of the solid color dresses at a black tie event. Tons of compliments!

Beautiful gown - the long versions were a perfect length in 2 inch heels for me at 5'9". I'm typically a 8 or 10 and, in this, the 8 was more than comfortable in the waist and the hips downright roomy and stuck out as if they expected me to be curvier. I couldn't really get over how the hips looked so went with my back up dress... but if someone was curvier and wanted a conservative dress (here's to wearing a normal bra!) it is really beautiful.

the top layer of lace puffs up at times and places. I think that is from wear. It is very pretty
