This dress was my second choice. The Badgeley Mishka Bell Sleeve dress was unavailable to ship. When I first tried it on, I was disappointed. I thought that it seemed to balloon out in the lap area. However, I tried it on again the morning of the wedding and asked my husband to zip it all the way, not having been able to do that myself (as many other reviewers have pointed out). He immediately said it fits in all the right places. A bonus for me was no spanx and no bra- the lace plunge is sexy without being revealing. With hair, makeup, and a nude platform heel I ended up loving this dress and also received great compliments. It was also very comfortable and great to dance in!

This dress is absolutely fabulous; it's sexy, pretty and perfect for all figures. It is much more striking in person. The material has a little weight to it, which felt glamorous. It fits like a glove but still has movement, especially with the peplum bottom. It has incredible structure and support so a bra wasn't necessary. I did not want to take this dress off! I can't recommend this dress enough.

This beautifully lacy dress, I want to buy it! The fabric is heavy and the dress is very well made. It's stretchy and shows serious body-ody-ody! I got so many compliments on it and it was perfect for a Victorian Western (don't ask) wedding I was the wedding coordinator for. It got a little sweaty in the chest during the hottest part of the day, but otherwise it stayed put and didn't ride up. My only issue is that the zipper was VERY sticky on the 4 and the 6. I needed help to get it on. Also there are some cups sewn into the lining in the bodice and they were all scrunched up. You couldn't tell from looking at me head on, but you could feel it and it made the top a tiny bit bunchy.

The quality of this dress was second to none! No undergarments were necessary. It was amazing. The dress has a little stretch but not as much as I thought...and that was fine! I loved the detail on the back and the fit in the bodice and the flair at the bottom. I don't want to send it back!

Fit was perfect. No bra was needed, Material is heavy, and form fitting. Love this dress! Would rent again.

This dress fit like a GLOVE. I wanted to keep it the minute I put it on. The zipper is definitely hard to get up when the fabric changes, you will need help. I'm 5'4, 34c, 28 waist and 40ish hips (which is all butt an very little hip). About 138lbs. Got tons of compliments. If your thinking about this dress...just stop and get it

This is the first time I've rented from rent the runway and I loved it! I ordered a 2 and 4 and the 2 fit perfect! The only issue I had was the zipper. The dress is super heavy sand it was a little difficult to zip.

The fit was true to size. The dress has built in support in the bust area. I'm a 36D and didn't have to wear a bra for support. The dress is beautifully made.

I loved this dress. If I could afford it, I would buy it. The dress fit beautifully. It was tight enough to show off my curves but stretchy enough that I never felt uncomfortable or trapped in it. I danced all night long with no issues. It's heavy enough that you don't need to wear a bra which is great with the detailing. I wouldn't recommend it for an outside wedding as it is heavy but I wore it to a wedding July and was never too hot.

The dress is a very well made little, black, knockout of a dress! I noticed right away that it's quite heavy compared to most of the dresses I own that are this silhouette. The heaviness of the material is a sign of the exquisite quality. The lace embroidery is absolutely gorgeous on the front and back. The dress is supposed to be a fitted. The size 6 was too big in the hips, the size 4 was perfect, but something was off with the zipper. It would catch at the waist part and was extremely hard to zip all the way to the top. Thank goodness my husband was with me to help me zip it up because it would've been impossible to zip on my own. My husband had to give it quite a few tugs to the point I thought the zipper would break. As I started questioning why I ate pizza for lunch, my husband assured me that it wasn't me, it was the zipper. LOL! RTR, please take a look at the zipper on the size 4.

Gorgeous dress that I ordered for a bar mitzvah. Looks better in person than photos. I would not recommend it unless you are fairly curvy or at least pear shaped. The fabric is thick. I needed no bra and no spanx. It was comfortable for dancing. Traveled well. No wrinkles. I also liked that it seemed fairly conservative yet sexy at the same time.

I usually wear a size 8 but a 6R was all they had left and it fit great! This dress was so flattering.. I felt very confident in it. It was worth the money to me. I didn't need to wear a bra, it hit right about the knee and fabric was very thick.

I loved this dress! I don't have many curves but it made me look like I did :) I am a size 34B / 32C chest and didn't quite fill out the cups. I didn't wear a bra because of the beautiful lace but because the bust is lined and boned it still made me my chest look full. The material is stretchy and comfortable. My armpits got a bit irritated over the course of the night due to the lace, but the intricate detail made it worth it, especially in the back! Very comfortable dress and easy in walk/dance in. Worth the rental!

Catherine Deane nailed the perfect LBD with the Black Gemini Dress! This dress is super form flattering and has amazing classic details. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for a back if you're curvier, and down if you have a smaller frame. With no stretch to the lace fabric and a tighter fit in the bust, this piece is best for A - C cup sizes. With the lace detail and and built in bra we recommend no bra. The waist is very fitted with the addition of the hips which has little stretch. Pair with classic black or nude heels and be prepared to be complimented all night!

Perfect dress for NY fall wedding. Fabric was thicker then it looks in photo, which was perfect for fall. Also, this dress has a built in type bra. It's tight enough that I did not require any further support. Loved it!

Sizing was accurate: wore a size 8 which I usually wear. I'm 53, 34DD and 5'8". Found it to be feminine and also age appropriate.

The dress fit very nice. I could've actually went down a size. You should wear black garments because the top of the dress has a lot of lace. The material is a bit heavy but it still made me feel sexy.

A beautifully-made dress, very thick fabric, and gorgeous lace detail. I have a long torso and was only JUST able to pull off this dress. It would be great on shorter torsos, and won't bunch above the bum like it did on me. If it came in 2L, I'd rent again. Has extra stretch through the hips, but not around the bust, which is tight.

Received so many compliments on this dress. The band that goes around the stomach has absolutely no stretch at all. The zipper would get stuck right where the band went around.

The material is thicker than I expected it, even the lace. So the center plunging lace detail isn't overly showy-- I had to wear an adhesive bra and the inner edges showed when the sun shone directly on me but otherwise, you couldn't tell. It was a little more roomy than I thought it would be, especially not as fitted through the skirt as I was hoping. Overall, it was gorgeous and classy and I loved it, but wish I would have also rented a 10 because it felt just a bit big, especially when I sat down.

This dress is amazing. It is super flattering and not too revealing, but with a little flirtiness with the sheer part at the chest. It smoothed every line out and was easy to sit, walk, and dance in. I would wear this over and over again.
