This dress was everything I wanted it to be - chic with beautiful lace detail. The back is gorgeous but you cannot wear a bra. The dress definitely runs small so get the next size up for your backup. The band at the waist definitely cinches you in, but the bottom half fabric just flows all around you when you move. I absolutely loved this dress!

A bit tight in the chest, but I am bigger busted. Could not really wear a bra with this dress. Beautiful lace back and super comfortable. Beautiful silky material that didn't wrinkle. Got a ton of compliments all night on it!

Literally the second I walked into the event, people started complementing me on this dress. Many asked me if I was wearing Kate Middleton's dress! This is a gorgeous look-alike by Elie Saab - see picture next to mine of the Princess. I was a little worried about the cap sleeves when I ordered this, but they did not bother me. The back of this dress is absolutely show stopping; I had many stop me at the ball to compliment the lace back. The dress is a little heavier with the gown material but flows beautifully! I felt like a princess! I am 5' 10" and the length of the LONG was perfect with heels. The bottom just hit the ground and you couldn't see your heels. I would absolutely recommend this for any gala or ball!

I was searching high and low for a dress perfect for my semi-formal, conservative work event. I am long and lean with a thigh tattoo so cocktail length length dresses are not safe enough to chance. I was worried I'd be too formal with a full-length but it worked great. I was in love with it. So many people told me how beautiful I looked in it. I felt like Cinderella for a night. Haha. I really could have worn the 4R or the 2R. Both were difficult to zip in the lace section and both had lumpy breast padding. However, I think I overcame the lump issues more with the 2R. The padding was still lumpy but I dont think it was too noticeable. I did use a sticky bra but un-snapped the front and positioned the bra awkwardly so it would pad without being seen. I could have gone without a bra, but I prefer things very snug... and my ladies could use the assist. The dress was so soft and comfortable. It was heaven to have a great fitting, comfortable, AND gorgeous gown. GREAT choice.

It was very comfortable and easy to wear for a long period of time. Like some of the reviews, the dress came with a few small stains, but nothing too noticeable. It is lose around the hips which helped for my body type. I would rent this again!

I wore this to a black tie optional wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The wedding was at the end of a 10 day trip to Europe, so the dress was squished into a suit carrier with my husband's tux and survived 9 days and 4 flights - I just hung it up the night before and it was wrinkle-free. I was very impressed! The waist is snug, so if you're broader in the rib cage, you might need to go a size up from what you're used to. The top is well padded, so no pasties needed. Normally I'd go with a petite, but that wasn't available with Unlimited, so I just got a higher pair of heels. It was still long, but I was able to walk around and no one stepped on it on the dance floor so I consider that a win. The back is stunning (sadly I neglected to take a picture of that) and I received many compliments from the row behind me during the ceremony.

This dress was a dream. The fabric is silky, the detailing on the back is gorgeous, and it fit perfectly. However there is ZERO flexibility at the waistline, and after dinner at the wedding it became a little bit uncomfortable. Definitely order a larger back-up size just in case. But seriously this dress was stunning - I never wanted to send it back!

This dress is a true show stopper. It sways beautifully, the color is spectacular, great fit (even for big boobies, I'm a triple D and did not need to wear a bra). I felt like a goddess!!! :) Fyi- it runs a bit long, so heel it up ladies ;)

Dress is from UK which affects sizing. I can wear a four in most dresses but, in my experience, European sizing runs smaller than US. The six fit well but I did not have a ton of room to spare. The built in padding was a little wonky but not too big of a deal. I'm 5'7 and wore four inch heels - the 6L was almost too long. My dress came with some damage on the left chest side but it was not too noticeable.

I loved this dress and received compliments all night! The lace on the back is beautiful and the cut is very flattering. It fit very well, I went a size up because the top is very fitted.

I wore this dress for my moms wedding. The 6L didn't come as a backup, but RTR sent me another dress and a backup of that dress! Luckily I didn't have to wear them. This dress was everything and more! I got compliments all night! The dress was snug in the waist where the band was but wasn't uncomfortable. If you have a larger chest, I would size up. The skirt is amazing and so comfortable, it also looks amazing when you walk! Such a classic dress! Felt like a movie star without stealing the show away from my mom! It also photographs really well! If you're thinking about it I would definitely rent it!

This dress is beautiful in person. I normally wear a 12 and only a 10 was available. It was doable without taking deep breaths all night because of the dress's boning, but it worked out anyway. No need for Spanx because of the cut of the dress.

The dress was so comfortable and gorgeous! Pros: hid my armpits which I'm very insecure about, my belly which could use an intense pre-summer workout, and my short legs. I felt elegant! The color is something I would never think to go for, but with my dark brown hair and Asian complexion/everything, it looked so great. I wore with big bronze/gold raindrop shaped earrings, my hair was down in big curls with a side part (like Lana Del Rey), and wore nude/black Michael Kors heels I already owned with a nude/black/white clutch I also already owned. I really felt like I looked amazing, and my boyfriend kept telling me that I did! Cons: When you sit back against a chair, the zipper pushes against your spine - but honestly, not a big deal because I was up dancing most of the night! Also, because I'm super short (5'1), I had to lift the dress up a bit to walk, but that wasn't a huge deal either because at least I was wearing heels (with the heels, the dress touched the ground and maybe dragged onto the floor at max 1/2-1 inch, and this was already a 6P). I'd recommend wearing tights or something if wearing this when it's cold weather, the fabric is silky and so made me a little bit colder - but again not a huge deal because I was only outside for a hot second. Overall, LOVED this dress, I wish I owned it!!

I loved this dress! Wore it to perform (I sing and play guitar) at a formal event. The top fit perfectly and everything stayed in place. The petite sizing and LENGTH were perfect. The color was gorgeous. Tons of compliments. Plus it was a nice look for the time of year, as it was the last day of winter and no snow on the ground, but a nice sunny day. RTR customer service was also great because this was not the original dress I ordered - they sent the wrong size in the original dress, so I quick picked this one and they overnighted it to me for free. Love RTR and this dress!

The size 2 wouldn't even zip! I'm 5'6", 127lbs for reference. Although, in the dresses defense, we'd been in Acapulco for a week and pigging out on beer and Mexican food so I wasn't exactly in dress shape! Haha. The size 4 fit perfectly and with 3inch heels hit the ground perfectly. The part around the waist has no give/stretch whatsoever. I got tons of compliments and one guest even said she was going to rent it for my wedding! Love this dress!

I am 5'6 and with heels, the dress was a little short...however, I preferred this so I wouldn't have to hold my dress up while walking/dancing/etc. The dress came wrinkle-less in the mail. I didn't need to wear a bra either- there was a little padding in the dress.

This dress is a stunner! I got compliments on it all night! I didn't want to take it off or send it back by the end of the night. It made me feel like a million bucks! I even made my bf take pictures of the back before I took it off :) I'm 5'8", pear-shaped and curvy, but this dress make me look tall and slender, even disguising it fit fantastically well in the size that I always wear for A-line dresses. The waist fit perfectly at my smallest point and the skirt draped beautifully. The lace back and shoulders drew all of the attention (as well as the deep v neckline). It may be a bit low-cut for a work event if you're busty, but with my 36C cup, it was not too revealing. Despite the price of the rental, GO FOR IT!!

I received so many compliments wearing this dress!! Being 5'1, the 4R was perfect with 3'-4' inch heels. The way the dress fit my body was beautiful, although a bit heavy, it didn't look heavy and allowed for me to eat and drink all I wanted without feeling like the dress was getting tight. The zipper was difficult to get up and although I could do it myself, It was easier with a helping hand. I used fashion tape near the neckline and an adhesive backless bra from Maidenform.

It's a beautiful emerald dress that does not wrinkle due to the type of fabric. It was snug at the waist so I would go a size up. Also, the zipper was difficult to close as you pass the waist line but still possible (maybe with help it will go better). I'm 5 feet in height and wore platform heels (5' 4" with heels) and the dress still touched the floor. Walking with it was just fine, but I had to pick it up when I danced. Overall, I got lots of compliments from people especially on the back details.

True to size. When I relieved the dress (6R), the left breast pad had detached from its thread and was bundled up in the sleeve. I had to pull it down but it was very crinkled and noticeable through the fabric.

Gorgeous dress! Color is much richer than it seems to appear in most of the photos. Beautiful fabric and the lace detailing in the back and sides is amazing and intricate. Lost of movement in the skirt as you move. Fit is definitely small which is perfect if you're petite. I'm usually a 0 and the 2R (smallest size) was not even a hair big. The waist is tiny but then flows nicely from your hips. I would suggest sizing up if you're concerned about a tight waist. I had to knock a star because the particular dress I was sent had some issues - the silk was stained in two places and the padding in the bra was flipped over and creased. I was still able to wear the gown and luckily the stains weren't too noticeable, but they were definitely there. It was a little unfortunate because the dress itself was beautiful.

The dress arrived with the bust padding bunched up at the bottom which took awhile to be able to flatten out. Also the zipper gave me a lot of trouble once the dress was on. Otherwise a beautiful gown, very flattering. I received a lot of compliments!

I had not originally chosen this dress, but I am so glad I had the opportunity to wear it! Two days before my gala, RTR emailed to let me know someone hadn't returned one of the sizes in time for my originally chosen gown. Of course the size I did receive was too small, so it was time for plan B. This Catherine Deane gown was on my list of alternatives and they sent the 2L with my other dress. I'm not sure whether it was just the zipper or if it wouldn't fit, but the 2L could not be worn. Thankfully, RTR overnighted me the 4L and I was able to get the zipper closed (still a struggle!). Pros: SO comfortable! Gorgeous detailing on the back, great color, cups in the dress so no need for a bra, compliments all night. Cons: One of the bra cups was folded in half and I couldn't fix it to lay flat. The zipper on both sizes was pretty hard to zip at the same spot on both. I felt beautiful and comfortable all night. I'm so grateful that RTR made sure I had a gorgeous dress to wear!

Wore the gown to a military function and wanted something different than all the other girls. Got compliments all night on the color and the detailing. Not tall, so wore 4 inch heels with the 10 regular and worked just fine. The only issue I had with the dress was the boning that it had in the bodice pinched a little bit but not bad. Was able to dress myself without assistance. The dress is very comfortable and was able to dance the whole night away without feeling over exposed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This dress is perfect for a petite person with a small chest. It was tight in the chest, but a very comfortable dress overall. I was surprised at the beautiful fit once I put in on. It's more beautiful in person than in the picture.

This dress is stunning in every way, amazing quality but runs very small. I normally wear a 0 or a 2, but a 4 fit like a glove on this one, had it been smaller I would have not fit in it. If it helps my measurements are as follows 35 around the bust at fullest point with a small rib cage, 24 waist, 36 hips. The zipper on this one is hard even when it is not on, so best to get some help. I got stopped and complimented on it by a lot of people. Both the back and the way it moves are to die for. Wear a nubra or nipple covers as the fabric is not thick. This is a must! I also rented another Catherine Deanne dress on that one I am a solid 2, read the reviews with regard to zising.

The waist zipper was a little tight and hard to get up but once it was up it was fine and I didn't feel it for the rest of the night. I range from a 6 - 10 and I wore the 8 in this and it fit perfect!

Runs small so size up. Very long for petite frame and 5" heels couldn't keep it from dragging on floor and tripping up front. Beautiful color and texture though. Could see how it was flattering. Would try to rent in bigger size if was taller but unfortunately no dice. Would have been flattering then. Truly lovely dress for non-petite.

This was the backup size but unfortunately the 12L was unable to ship. I was nervous I would not fit but thankfully it was perfect! I am a 34G so I wore this with a low back corset bra but if you are a smaller cup size, you may be able to get away without it. The length was perfect with 3.5" heels though I also wore near flat sandals to the after party and it was still great. I loved how comfortable this dress was for a black tie wedding in the heat of DC August. The way the skirt moves when you walk is amazing. I cannot recommend this dress enough! The one down side was how difficult it was to zip - I needed to run a bar of soap over the zipper in order to help things along and I definitely could not have zipped it up alone.

This dress fit like a glove, accentuating all the right places and hiding any flaws as well. I am 5' 4" and 140lbs and the 8 fit perfectly. I only wore 2 inch heels and if I would have worn any higher, the dress would have probably been too short. It is low cut but fashion tape made it stay in place all night and it's tight enough to go without a bra (36D). The only negative was the material shows a water stain very well! We went to a wedding outdoors and my sweat was noticeable in some areas, as well as water drips from rain drops that took a long time to dry. In any event, I would have kept the dress if I could, it really was lovely and I got many compliments throughout the night!

This dress is incredibly slimming/flattering. It just seemed to skim over all my curves! It's long and not great for dancing but if you want to feel glamorous at a black tie event...this is the dress.

Pros: Very comfortable, flattering and elegant. Cons: you may have to spend some time fixing the padding on the bust because it could be folded or inverted as it was on mine.

The waist is tight around the waist...and I have a tiny waist. I'm petite so the neckline was lower on me, I loved the sexy show of cleavage. Length was perfect with 3.5 inch heals. I'm so glad I rented this dress! The product images bored me on RTR.com, but the dress is so luxurious in person. The pictures do not do this dress justice. I would definitely rent this dress again.

Beautiful dress, the back is so pretty. Unfortunately, the 2 is so small I'm not sure who can get into it! Make sure if you are a normal 2 (or 4) you go up!

The dress runs small. I normally wear a 6, so I'd recommend sizing up one size. The v-neck is deep enough to be attractive and eye catching, yet not so severe as to be worried about falling out. I did not wear a bra. The dress was lined in the bust area (which actually was a problem because the lining was all bunched up when I received the dress and I had to work on smoothing it out). I definitely would recommend this dress. I put gold shoes and gold accessories with this dress and felt very elegant.

This dress runs fairly true to size in the body. As I have not worn this designer before, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. For someone who is tall, I would recommend going with a size in long, although be forewarned that there is about a five inch difference between a regular and a long dress. The regular came to my ankles and even with ballet flats, it was too short as the entire shoe showed. As a result, I went with the long with my tallest heels. While I felt like a princess (and would rent this dress again in a heartbeat or buy it outright!), the long is VERY long! Even with 4 inch heels, it still dragged. If I owned it, I would have had it altered by an inch or more. It really is a fairytale dress!
