The original dress was way too small in the bust so I had to order another. It fit perfectly in the body and waste and so I was disappointed that I had to go up a size because then it was not as shaped to my form as I would have liked but it was beautiful and the beading and the back of the dress are so beautiful. I would love to wear this dress again

This dress is the definition of elegant! I would definitely recommend wearing a strapless bra as back is open and see through. The fabric has some stretch, but runs extremely small. Overall a beautiful dress for a black tie affair.

It is a little short but very comfortable and elegant. I received many compliments and felt amazing all night.

Previous reviews were very helpful in sizing this dress. I usually go for a 0-2 but the 4R fit perfectly. It was perfect length with 4in heels and I received compliments from friends and strangers alike. It is true old Hollywood glamour! The dress arrived in near-perfect condition (a few tiny tiny holes/areas where the beadwork was a little messed up) but honestly there's no way anyone would have ever noticed it. I loved wearing this dress!! My big boobs fit in it just fine without a bra and it didn't feel sleazy bc the beadwork covers your chest and cleavage.

Runs small, I wore 8R. I am 5'4", wore a 3" heel and the length was perfect.

Wore for my son's wedding. Received many compliments. Am 5 ft. 1 in., and wore 3 inch heels, which were perfect. No hem tape needed. The gown is beautiful from the front AND back. Highly recommend for special occasions.

This dress is stunning!!! The quality will be hard to beat. It doesn't show every flaw but this dress will require high rise spanx. BUT beware: this dress is cut for the shorter woman (I'm 5'9" and its 4 inches off the ground with no shoes on) AND the smaller chested (I'm a 32d and with no bra the top of zipper was a good 3 inches from closing). I have narrow hips and small butt so it fit fine there but it will be snug on those with hips!! Absolutely size up at least one size especially if more than a/b cup! And do not order unless under 5'5"

beautiful color and fit

I came 2 hours early to help set up for the event. No one noticed me. I changed into this dress and, suddenly, I had just arrived. I had a line of veterans wanting to get their picture taken with me on the red carpet! I may have been slightly over dressed to some, but I decided to look at it like everyone else was under dressed. I wore size 12 and I am 5'5". The length was perfect for me, as I did not trip or damage the dress at all with where it hit on my foot. The dress is heavier than I expected, due to the intricate and exquisite beading, but it did not feel uncomfortable at all. I wore a waistband style bra, which did not show at all thru the see thru back. The color is gorgeous! I felt like a princess, because this dress is definitely a dress I could see Princess Katherine wearing!

Absolutely love this dress and even more so upon receiving it. However I was unable to wear this because I ran extremely small.

The dress does run small but not as small as some indicated. I am a size 6 and curvy so I went with the 10. It looked horrible on me. The weight was large and the top was large. The skirt portion was too big but not as much too large as the top. I thought of trying the 8 but the dress aged me a bit. I see this working for a person with a large chest and slimmer hips who can make it very fitted in the hip area. If you are more curvy or even if you have a smaller chest area, this may not work as well. It does have tremendous detail and the fabric is very beautiful.
