I got this for a work event and it worked out perfect. I just wanted a comfortable, basic black skirt that wasn't too short. The ruffle added a little something extra to it. I liked this a lot!

This ran large and so I couldn't wear it. Hoping to exchange for something else. Also, didn't see the ruffle detail down the side in the pictures so that was unexpected and didn't provide the silhouette I wanted.

not stiff to hold shape, frumpy and floppy. Wouldn't recommend for larger sizes, pear shapes, or short persons.

I love this skirt. It was true to size. The fabric had stretch to it. It was super comfortable and I got a ton of compliments. Would definitely rent again and recommend.

I love this flattering pencil skirt by City Chic! Running true to size with lots of stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and fitted at the hips, however the stretchy fabric leaves plenty of room in the hip area for those with fuller hips. At 5’6”, the length hit just at the knees for me. I love how the skirt makes this piece deviate from the typical pencil skirt silhouette and makes it unique! Pair with a white blouse, statement necklace and black heels for a chic office look.

This was a really pretty skirt that I wanted to love. It was good quality and a nice fabric. However, it just hung funny on my hips. I think it was a little big. I am generally a 14 regular in skirts and pants. The fabric did have a nice give to it. Maybe if I sized down it would have hung better.

Not made for short torso women.
