I rented this the week of my best friend's wedding because I ran out of time to get alterations done to the dress I originally bought. I got so many compliments on the style, fit, lace, and color all night! I felt beautiful and comfortable - which is all you ever want!

I took the advice of other reviewers and tucked in the straps and it was perfect for a wedding. It was comfortable and I got a lot of compliments! I have a large chest and it fit really well even with that

This dress looked so good. The only thing is that the straps are narrow and a strapless bra is needed.

This dress fit amazing! Super flattering. To all my big chested ladies - you know it can be tough to find a dress that fits well in the boobie area. This dress had just enough give that it wasn't too tight. LOVE this dress!

The fit was excellent. The straps looked like bra straps, but the dress was perfect for an evening out. I wouldn't wear it to a wedding at my age. I usually wear a 16, but that wasn't available, so the 18 was more than comfortable.

I wore this to a fundraising gala- it was very comfortable and easy to wear. I recommend it!

This dress fit me perfectly and was extremely flattering of my curves. I was also worried about the color with my skin tone but I got compliments all night long. I did wear the straps as shown and felt it helps hold everything up a bit better with my larger chest. I have gained some weight so I was worried my normal size wouldn't fit but the 18 was perfect and had some stretch. Great length and probably even more flattering with a nice heel.

Great fit. Roomy, but also enough to show off curves. The color didn’t wash me out. I usually just go for navy or black dresses, so I was hesitant. I loved finding shoes and accessories for this dress. Modest and yet still very appealing!

Great dress for spring or summer!! Loved the color and the fit....the only thing that I disliked was the straps. I had to tuck them under my arms. Wish it truly was a strapless dress.

This dress looks form fitting in the pictures on RTR which it is but in all the right ways with room to breath and move around. I am typically a 14-16/XL in dresses on RTR and the 14W fit perfectly. I also hid the straps because they do look like bra straps (all you have to do is loosen the bra straps and then stuff them underneath the sleeves). I'm 5'5" and I LOVED that the dress fell mid calf. It was perfect for an evening wedding at the Botanical Gardens.

This dress was great! Got lots of compliments, was very comfortable to wear, and was perfect for a fall wedding. I did tuck the straps in as they kind of look like bra straps in my opinion but other than that - perfect dress! I'm 5' 10" and normally wear a 14/16. This was slightly large in the top for me but was fine!

This dress was so lovely and a perfect fit! I am on the shorter side so it came to ankle length on me. I wasn't a fan of the straps at the top, so I just tightened them up and tucked them under my arms. I definitely recommend this dress!

IF you think most lace looks childlike this might persuade you to go to the adult section. The color is not babyish but more blushy in tone. If I wear to repeat the dress I'd get better fitting shoes so that my look from top to bottom is in sync.

This dress fit great, I am 5'4 so it was a midi look. The straps look like bra straps that shouldn't be there so I tucked them in. It looked great but did end up being uncomfortable in my arm pits. I got tons on compliments and the dress photographed amazing! The color was close to my skin tone, but ended up working out. I would recommend it over all, it's a safe choice!

This dress fit me perfectly, I had to size up from my usual size, but the size up fit in all the right ways. The color was great for my pale skin. I was a little worried when it came to the length but it was just fine with heels. My only wish is that it tapered in more at the bottom. As a note, I tucked the straps under my arms so it became a off the shoulder dress.

It runs a little large which was good because it was a little forgiving in me not knowing exactly what size to choose. I didn't like the straps so I tucked them in. I am 5ft 4in and I liked the length.

Dress was very pretty and comfortable. The straps kind of looked like bra straps which I didn't love but they did make it so I wasn't tugging at my dress all night. The chest area was a little roomy and I could have gotten away with wearing a smaller size but felt more comfortable in my backup. I felt it hid more problem areas. I'm tall (5'11) and the length was great. I received a lot of compliments on the dress. It was nice to find a dress that fit a bigger girl and wasn't black.

I ended up not wearing this one. It did fit a little small so I went up a size. It did have a couple pulls on the lace not stand out noticeable but it made me choose the other dress over this one.

As cute as this looked on other reviewer this thing was frump city on me! Not sure if it was the style, the cut or the color but whatever the issue it just did not work

This was a backup I rented after my first choice didn't fit, and I was shocked how much I liked it! I would 100% echo the sentiments of those who suggest tucking the straps in (a little too reminiscent of exposed bra straps). The off the shoulder fit is super flattering. Also as a tallish woman I appriciated the length, which fell below my knees without feeling like it was too much fabric. I would consider renting this again. I would suggest a bronze/rosey makeup look to pair with dress.

I wore this dress for my Bridal Shower and it was absolutely perfect.I have a lot of issues with ordering dresses online so I was skeptical. My problem areas are my hips, belly and arms and this dress flattered all! the fabric is a little stretchy so i could have went a size down comfortably but this size was perfect for a comfortable day! Highly recommended for plus size!

I was worried when I first ordered this dress that I would need spanx or shapewear underneath. I forgot them at home and didn't have any choice but to wear it to the wedding without. I'm glad I forgot them though, because the dress was so flattering without them and I was comfortable. I am a size 16 and reserved the 16 and 18. 16 fit perfectly.

Had to go a size up because of bust size but other than that, true to size.

Absolutely loved this stunning tea length dress from City Chic! This beautiful dress is perfect for any weddings you may attend this summer. Running true to size, this dress has comfortable room at the hips and bust despite the fact that it is fitted. I was surprised at how comfortable and flattering this was, as I tend to stay away from styles that are straight in the hips. I paired this with beige heels and gold jewelry and felt like a million bucks all night!

Fits true to size. If you are short like me, it will fall longer than the model but still cute. Highly recommend!

I didn't like the straps, so I tucked them under and wore off the shoulders. This dress is really pretty but runs large in the behind. I almost didn't wear it because I thought it made me look bigger than I am. I'm also short at 5'4'', so it was midi length on me. Overall I liked this dress a lot, and it was perfect for the wedding I attended.

Dress is very pretty but looks cheap. It's definitely not for "Apple" shapes. Very tight on the midsection.
