I was both the party planner and a guest at this rooftop birthday party. I was able to wear this dress throughout set up, all the way through the party, and still look great. It has beautiful detailing that just makes you feel special and fun. I would have liked the bodice to fit just a bit tighter. There really is no give in the bodice area. So, make sure to get a back-up size. But the fact that you could wear a regular bra was worth a bit looser fit. Length is great for tall girls like me!

I loved this dress. I would have kept it if I could. It was wonderful for a beach wedding in Florida. I got tons and tons of compliment, and felt so beautiful!

This rental was my second experience with RTR. My first rental was for Valentine's Day last year and it ended up not showing up because of a huge snowstorm. RTR completely reimbursed me, gave me a free rental, and helped me choose a dress for my next event. From the moment I saw this dress, I knew it was perfect for me. It fit like a glove and was incredibly comfortable. I didn't even need to wear a bra! I got compliments the entire day and felt so incredibly beautiful! I wish I could have kept this dress forever.

The bust was a bit tight, but overall it fit great. I ordered the 4 and 6, and ended up wearing the 4.

I rented this dress for a wedding and LOVED it! I got a ton of compliments from other guests and complete strangers! I ended up wearing the 8 because I felt like I couldn't breathe in the 6. (For once "The Girls" we're too big!) This dress is perfect if you're looking for comfort, wanting to dance the night away, but still stand out with the spectacular splashes of color!

Great dress - was perfect for an outdoor setting. The dress was definitely well lined and fitted in the top which made it a little warm for the 80+ degree weather. I was a little concerned based on the reviews that the top would be too fitted for my normal 4, but it ended up being perfect for me. The 6 was missing when it was sent so I was pretty happy it worked out! The colors are bright so in my opinion minimal jewelry is needed. I wore brown wedge heels. I received SO many compliments from guys and gals alike - even in the pictures I posted for the event. Don't hesitate to rent this gem!

The bust was a little tight (surprisingly) but it had awesome support. I was able to get away with wearing a regular bra with it too! It was so cute and girly and I love the bit of poof the skirt has. The colors are so vibrant in person and the pattern is so cool! I liked the material too. I got nothing but complements all night, as I always do when I rent from RTR!!! It was perfect for an outdoor spring wedding, and the crochet detail in the bodice was beautiful and just added a little bit of visual interest. I would absolutely recommend this dress!

As other reviewers noted, it's fitted in the waist and chest and can be pretty cleavage-ey if you're larger chested (a fact you can't really tell from the picture of the dress on the model). That being said, the fitted structure made it slimming & gave it a retro 50's vibe with the full skirt, which I adore. It was the perfect length for me- ladylike but not too long.

I loved this dress. I wore it to the brunch the day after my wedding. It's definitely a celebration dress with all the bright colors. The stitching detail was beautiful, and it fit really well. I would definitely rent it again!

I wore this dress for my daughter's Christening and thought everything about the fit and color was perfect. The colors were very vibrant and the skirt poofed out not too much and not too little. I just had a baby 3 months ago and still felt this dress was able to accentuate my waistline a bit. I'm 5'4 and the length of the dress hit slightly above the knee, which was great. I would definitely recommend this dress and even rent it again for another occasion!

Dressy Casual was the attire for a wedding, and that could have been a little confusing- but this dress was perfect for the event. Tons of compliments and it fit great. Ended up wearing the 2 because it's got absolutely no stretch in the bust area. Only drawback is that the skirt is realllly full so it could end up looking a little matronly if you have wider hips. Loved it. Also- the necklace might have gotten more compliments than the dress and they went together perfectly. I even wore it the day after with a casual outfit and it was such a nice touch.

I rented this for a summer party with friends and family. It fit true to size-it is a little tighter at the chest and flows around the waist. The colors were absolutely gorgeous and I received a ton of compliments. I am a huge fan of RTR and the ease of ordering and sending back dresses!

I rented this dress for a weekend getaway with my husband - this dress is great for curvy bodies, but the waist sizing can run on the small side. I rented an 8 and 10 (gained some weight recently) - the 8 was a better fit in the bust area, but the waist was a little tight and I knew I'd be sitting a lot of the day. I wore the 10, which was a great fit in the waist (and looked great with a pushup bra), but then it gapped a little in the arms. I threw a cardigan on, so it wasn't noticeable at all. If I had worn this to a wedding or party, I would have worn the 8. The fabric is GORGEOUS in person - soft, thick, and structured. It has a separate lining skirt that kept bunching up, but the fabric of the skirt falls so beautifully that you would never know. It was so perfect for touring Hearst Castle and wine tasting up in the central coast area of California, and my husband wished I owned the dress. I wish that, too!!

I wore this dress around town during the day and out to dinner on my birthday and absolutely loved it -- it's very fun and playful and I just felt special wearing it. The colors are bright, but not so vibrant that they're intimidating. I had so many strangers come up and compliment me on it throughout the day. I was able to wear a normal bra with it which is always a big plus and it was very comfortable. My waist is pretty small compared to my hips, so I loved how fitted it was at the smallest part of me then went out into a full skirt to conceal my hips. It is very fitted with no give at the waist, so I'd suggest keeping that in mind when ordering.

The dress was much more colorful than I expected. It's fantastic quality. I received so many compliments! I have 36DDs so the dress did show a fair amount of cleavage (but not too much). I got the size 8 and 10 as options and ended up wearing the 10 because of my chest. The dress looked adorable with a bold statement gold bracelet, bag, and tan heels. I am 5'4 and the dress hit my knee. When I sat it flounced out in a cute way.

I wore this dress to one of my best friend's bridal showers, and then to a Labor day party directly following. This was my back up dress for the other dresses I ordered that were unavailable at the last minute. I ordered the 10 because in Lilly Pullitzer and other brands a 6 will fit my waist, but often an 8 is tight on my bust. I could have absolutely worn an 8 in this dress, maybe even a 6. The one small issue I had was that my bra (a normal VS bra with vertical straps) stuck out on the sides.. I think a smaller size would have fixed that. This dress is perfect for large hips and small waist ladies - if I purchased this dress i would have had it taken in about 1.5 inches in the waist. I received compliments from every age group - most people thought the sea urchins were fireworks, so this would be perfect for a summer holiday. Highly recommend - I wish this dress was a permanent fixture to my closet!

This is a great daytime dress! The print is really beautiful and the fit of the dress is super easy! It is very fitted at the waist, so if you have a slightly larger rib cage definitely size up in backup! It hit me at my knee, and I was able to wear a standard bra. This dress would really work for any body type, especially if you are curvier!

I loved the pockets on this dress. The fit was okay, but probably could have fit better if I was a) a bit bustier or b) a bit taller. The top strap area kept getting a little bit loose, and so I'd have to pull the dress further down my waist so that the seams would fit against my body again. The colors on the dress were awesome and perfect for the wedding I attended. Overall very cute!

The pattern on this dress is amazing and unique! I also loved that it has pockets, especially to keep my camera ready during the wedding. The cons are that if you have a bigger bottom than top, it can be challinging to get it to fit right. I ordered the 6 & 8 because I'm in between sizes. The 6 was about 1/2 inch too small on my ribcage area and I just couldn't get it on. It fit perfectly on top, if I could've zipped it up. The 8 was too long and big in the bust area for me, so I ended up pinning it in the shoulders. My hair covered it up, but it was a pain to get the pins in because the material is so thick. I would still highly recommend this dress, especially for a beach themed wedding!

Had this overnighted after the dress I originally selected did not fit well at all. Dress was beautiful in person, colors as vibrant as pictured. I'm not sure that I would bother trying to iron it again, since the material wrinkles easily. Don't worry, the wrinkles don't show well because of the pleated skirt. I received many compliments throughout the night.

I wore this to my 20 year high school reunion. I loved wearing such bright colors when almost everyone else was in black. The straps on the dress were a bit long, but as long as I maintained proper posture they fit well. It was a bit tight on my lower rib cage and waist without any stretch, but my back up size 4 was too loose in the top so I had to go with the 2. It was a fun dress to dance in with the full skirt.

I wore this dress for a wedding in June at a winery. I loved the fabric and the pleating of the skirt, as well as the bright colors and design. It has a little bit of lace details which just added to the special look of the dress. The overall fit of the dress was great except for my chest. I am a 38DD and knew looking at the previous reviews it would probably be a bit snug. I somehow got the ladies in there and while I had ample cleavage, the cut of the dress made it so it wasn't risque. Strangers complimented me the entire night and I had so much fun dancing in this dressing.

I wore this to a wedding in Cape Cod. It was perfect. It's definitely not a super fancy dress - it's cotton and has pockets. I also found the colors to be not quite as bright as described, not sure if it's just because the dress has been worn or if that's how it was supposed to be. Overall it's a super fun, cute dress and really perfect for something beachy. I rented it with the Lily Pulitzer Summer Chic purse and I thought it matched perfectly!

The dress was a little big in the bust for me. I am petite so the straps were a little big and the dress did not fall on me right. When I sat down you could see the straps come up. Cute dress but did not fit me right.

I loved this dress! I wore it to a nice brunch, and it was absolutely perfect! My friends and I were actually keeping tally of how many people complimented me. I felt so confident in it and was sad to send it back. I got mine a size up because there is no give in the bodice. Oh and the pockets made carrying a camera so easy!

I love this dress! The fit was a little on the small side. I usually wear a size 4 or 6, but ended up wearing an 8 based on the reviews. I have a very large chest, and there isn't much give in the fabric. The fit in my chest was snug but still looked great! I loved that I could wear a regular bra! The fabric is a little heavy, but I didn't mind it even in the summer heat for an outdoor wedding rehearsal on the beach. I absolutely loved the pockets and the full pleated skirt. The dress photographs beautifully! I received so many compliments and I would definitely rent this dress again.

Wore this to opening day at Del Mar. Really comfortable, cool cotton dress. It's a little tight in the bust (no bra possible here!) and the zip over the belt is a bit tough. In all though I got so many compliments from strangers - oh and did I mention the pockets? Paired wonderfully with the Ashley necklace. Thanks again RTR!

I wore this dress for an August wedding. I was a nursing mama at the time and needed a dress I could wear a nursing bra with. This dress was great! It allowed me to wear a normal nursing bra and had a little extra room around the bust, but not too much. The length was perfect, the fabric was light, moved great, and the waist wasn't too tight. I got so many compliments on it!

This dress was so fun and colorful. My only complaint was the straps were a little long but I have small shoulders. Would be good for someone more busier than me:). Otherwise it was comfortable and photographed well!
