This dress worked out pretty perfectly. I originally ordered a size 4, which arrived the day before I was heading out of town for a sunset/evening wedding. The size 4 fit well on my bottom half but given my large bust, it didn't quite fit up top. I switched to the size 6 instead, and RTR sent the dress directly to my hotel just in time for the event. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the bottom half can be a little puffy but I found that it gave me the facade of curves I'd only dream of. Super rental!

The dress fit me like a glove. I didn't have time to accessorize like I wanted to, but the dress still got so many compliments. I wouldn't recommend this dress for people with big boobs. I'm a small B cup and it fit me perfectly. My shoulders are kind of broad, so I had to get help zipping it all the way. Once it was on, the fit was snug. Double sided fashion tape is a must since the dress may slide down a little while dancing. All in all I loved the dress and would rent it again

Loved this dress. Tried it on our showroom and it does run one size large and is best for people who are bigger on the bottom. It is a flattering strapless dress that does not cut into your skin at all.

The size 2 was a bit large at the top but it worked with a few safety pins in place. I tried contacting RTR to get the size 0 but never heard back from them prior to the event. I did end up speaking with them a few days later and the stylist was really apologetic and offered me a partial refund because of the hassle. The customer service is great!

Great fit, fun dress for a winter wedding!

I love, love, love this dress but ended up not wearing it for my event because it was too tight in the hips for me to sit or dance in! I wish they had the six available but alas they did not. I would say that if you are bigger in the hips and want to move around size up. To be fair to the dressmaker, I think the dress does fit true to size, but I have larger than average hips . I think I'm going to try and rent this dress again (in the larger size, lol).

I loved the print and color of the dress. The top was super fitted with boning which is great with strapless. The sweet heart neck line was gorgeous. I did wear a bra with it, but could have worn it without one. It was pretty tight on the hips (my hips are about 36.5") which created a sort of poof in the stomach area depending on how I was standing (you can see what I mean in my phone booth picture) But even with that going on I still really loved it and enjoyed wearing it!! Lot's of compliments on it. It was very flattering. I also thought the bright red lipstick really sealed the deal ;)

This was figure flattering. If you are going to get 2 sizes, size down. This dress was a little difficult to sit in becuase of the tight bodice, but I was happy with my choice.Definitely need a tan to wear the dress, if I had not spray tanned I think this would have really washed me out. Great fabric with jsut the right amount of metallic sparke.

This dress looked GREAT on. Really looked good with a clean tan (and made me look tan too. It looked EXCELLENT in pictures - so it is good for a wedding/event. However, it was not super comfy. It was VERY VERY tight in thighs and butt (I almost couldn't sit) and loose at belly (was afraid of "pooching" all night). It also was not flush around the top, so I was afraid that it would gap and show my chest, but was okay - jut a bit uncomfortable.

Great dress, wore it for a winter wedding and received endless complements. The fit in the body was large and it was not as form fitting as I would have liked but the top was tight and the fabric had no stretch. This was great though bc no bra was needed. Loved the dress, sorry that I didn't get a better picture!

Fits true to size, however the zipper would not stay up. There is no clasp for extra security so I ended up using a safety pin to keep the zipper up. Other than that, I was extremely happy with my rental!!

I was between the 4 and the 6 so the 6 slid down a little bit but otherwise generally a perfect fit. I'm pretty much universally a size 4-6 unless we're talking about brands that run large like GAP in which case I'm usually a 2 or a small.

this brand always is slightly large in the bust, but otherwise this dress was fabulous

Paid $30-ish extra to get this as a back-up (preferred rental didn't have the next size up available) - didn't fit. A little worn-looking, but super cute, just didn't fit my body - small waist and boobs, wider hips. I range from a 0-6 in dress sizes b/c of these proportions. This size 4 was too big in the chest, even after stuffing a push-up bra. The hips were tighter than I like - bunching on the sides, which would cause me to be constantly pulling it down at the hips. Made my butt look great, though! So, If your a bombshell with big boobs and a tiny waist - get it girl!

This dress is beautiful and overall I loved it! It does run small - size up to be safe! Beautiful silhouette.

It's vey thick material with no give so you need alittle extra room. I would order your normal size and the one right above it to be safe. pretty dress though, wish I could have worn it.

The dress has classic lines and is beautiful in a vintage sort of way. While I didnt end of wearing the dress for the event (I ordered two totally different styles), I did like it and found the dress to be very slimming. Keep in mind a couple of things. This dress has velvet piping at the top and reminds me of brocade. Also, because of its heavier fabric, I would suggest wearing only Octgober thru February.

I gave this dress 3 stars because although it was beautiful and in excellent condition, it was WAY TOO BIG! I am 5'2", 32, 23, 32 measurements and I was swimming in it. I spoke with stylist before and she said that a 0 would fit perfectly. Boy was she wrong. In my estimation, the 0 is a 2-3. So, I would definitely go a size down for real. The staff have been more than accomodating and they are issuing me a credit, but it was for a special event and I was disappointed. But, I learned that I should not rent a dress from a designer that I have not tried on other clothes from to see how they fit me.

This dress was very baggy on the bottom for me. For reference, my waist is 28", and my hips are 36". The color also did not work at all against my skin tone, which is fairly yellow. (I am of Chinese descent.) I did not end up wearing it.

Beautiful material but was unable to wear it- it was just too big.

Top ran small, skirt ran big in the hips.

I was supposed to wear this for a wedding but couldn't. My size was too small for the hips and the next size up was too loose on the top. sad.

Did not fit well on bottom. sides were big and the length fell well past my knees.

normally I'm a 4 but this was WAY too small around the bust (i'm a 34C) and tight everywhere else but beautiful fabric. So bummed that the size 6 was unavailable. They should have sent another strapless in a 6. The dress they sent was way too sparkly and matronly.
