The perfect choice for a black tie New Years Eve! I paired it with the Champagne and Chains Necklace by Ciner - the outfit was a hit!!

I ordered the 10 instead of my usual 8 and I am glad I did. The belt that came with it was a little too small but I found something and impovised. Still a great rental experience!

The dress fit great, true to size. It was a bit worn... The fabric is shaggy and it in some parts a little too much from excessive wearing.,, only reason why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5.. The sash is AMAZE, it was my favorite part!!

I LOVED this dress in the pictures, but it's extremely stiff and hard to wear, it made my tummy look not great....granted I wasn't wearing spanx when I tried it on and I think it runs small in the stomach...The bust area was fine but the tummy area didn't look so hot. Also sorry about the socks in the picture haha I was just doing a quick try on!

I am small busted, so a size smaller fits the bust better. Size 6 is comfortable, but 4 in this dress worked better for me.

This dress is amazing! Its beautiful and elegant. I wore it to a black tie wedding and received many compliments! I recognize everyone has different tastes, but I disagree with the last reviewer...this dress was truly wonderful and in no way looks like a carpet. There are only a few drawbacks: the leg room is small (the cut on the dress is too short) which means you have to learn to walk like a geisha and the other is that the belt runs small/tight. Other than this I would rent it again!

This dress is beautiful. The picture does not do it justice. I orignally rented another dress, but because one size couldn't be shipped, the stylist sent two alternatives. I immediately decided to wear this instead of the original, and do not regret it. I got compliments all night long, but also felt really good as well!!

The dress fit great but the ribbon was far too small for my rib cage. Luckily, I took the ribbon from the second dress to make one long one and tied it on the side... But it looked gorgeous on.

It is a beautiful dress, but beware that the dress is not white & gold like the picture. It's more medium silver & gold. As beautiful as the dress is, I didn't get to wear it. Both the size I ordered and the back up size were too tight across the hips. The dress is cut VERY straight so if you have hips or a bit of a tummy, it is not the dress for you. Even my trusty Spanx didn't solve the problem. :(

This was a little tight in the hips but then poofed out in the waist. The belt is definitely a must to make the fit more flattering. However, the print of the belt DOES dress it down a bit, so consider a different belt (it's detachable).

This dress ran very, very large.

I received this dress because it was chosen by a RTR stylist who sent it to me when my second dress for an event become unavailable. I appreciate that RTR will hand select a backup dress, but it was not my style. Luckily, my first choice dress was fit and looked great so I wore that to my event, but I tried this one on for kicks. It is made out of an uncomfortable threaded material which I didn't like. I have wide hips, and this dress hugged them tightly. Pretty dress, just not for me!

Let's just say I started laughing when I put this on and looked in the mirror. And not in a good way. If you have a short waist and/or small bust like I do, don't bother. It just wasn't happening. I also agree with the other reviewer who compared the fabric to bad 60's shag. I ordered this dress as a back-up style for a formal event, and I'm very glad the first dress worked!

Horrible. It fit awkwardly and does not look at all like the picture. In real life it looks cheap. Don't bother.

I've rented 8 dresses from here and this was the only dud. Looks like cheap carpet. Maybe ok for a prom but if you are over 25 and want to look elegant STEER CLEAR. Dress that came was new with tags and went back that way. Felt like a leftover holiday fruitcake no one wanted. Weird sizing too....Too tight on top.

In Feb 2010 this was hands down my favorite dress on the site, however for a New Orleans Mardi Gras Ball, i opted to rent a less expensive red gown. RTR called me, said the red gown was in bad shape and they would give me any other gown on the site for the original price of the red dress. When this arrived, I was in love. It is stunning and was the best dress at the ball. The only downside is that the belt was not the correct size (think a size 4 for a 10 dress), however it looked gorgeous without.
