I got more compliments on this dress that anything I have ever worn. I am a size 6, but I wanted to buy the dress and the only size available was an 8. With spanx, it fit just right- just a bit right in arms which I can alter.

Beautiful fit! Must wear shape wear. The fabric has no stretch so I couldn’t move my arms or bend over. It was quite comical. I wish I got to see what going one size up would’ve done to improve my evening but they didn’t have the size. It’s very slimming, sexy, and even in a sea of black dresses this stood out!

This was the favorite of the 4 I rented for the occasion. However, it fit in the hips and bottom perfectly, but upon zipping up at my ribs and breasts, it was impossible to budge anymore. So this dress, sadly is not for women w larger breasts. I was so disappointed.

I am obsessed with this dress. It definitely runs small so size up. It's super tight but it is absolutely gorgeous. I felt so glamorous and sexy. I received soooo many compliments! I might just have to purchase it!

I wore this for my law school graduation. Definitely runs small I normally wear a six but I wore an eight in this dress. The dress was snug on my hips as I have hips and a butt but it worked! It did wonders for the girls without a bra. The dress felt very princess Diana revenge dress vibes and I loved it. I would definitely recommend but order the dress 1 & 2 sizes bigger than your normal. If you have a bigger bust or hips you'll probably need two size up.

Rented this for a gala that I was working (I am an event planner). Usually wear a 2-4, rented the 4 and 6. Wore the 6, and probably would have been more comfortable in an 8. I couldn't even zip the 4 up. Wouldn't recommend for an event that required dancing as you cannot move your arms. Otherwise extremely pretty. Simple yet sophisticated!

It's super tight.... but it's supposed to be form fitting. Have worn it in every color and love them all. Instant elegance ... simple but dramatic at the same time.

Wow! I just loved this dress! At the time, I was a solid size 10, weighing 170lbs. I ended up ordering a size 12 as my back up size, and I'm so glad that I did. The dress was extremely tight with spanx, but fit like a glove and was super flattering. I loved this dress so much, that I ended up purchasing it.

I love so much about this dress. Classic, timeless, and super sexy without it being in your face. BUT it is super small. I sized up one size but wish I would’ve sized up two sizes.

I loved this dress! I felt great wearing it. The only thing I didn’t like (which other reviewers mentioned) is that it was really small. I usually wear a 6 and even the 8 was small on me. Still, I loved wearing it and felt good in it!

Stunning but absolutely claustrophobic dress. I sized up from 4 to 6 but still could barely breathe and definitely couldn't move. Looked like a bombshell but felt ornamental. Rent at least 2 sizes up if you want to be able to lift your arms high enough to put a coat over it.

If you read all the other reviews and size up this is an amazing dress. So many compliments. Not great for dinner if your trying to reach across the table for anything though.

I rented this dress for NYE after renting it in red last year for a wedding. Just beautiful and so well-made. RUNS SMALL. Order one, maybe two sizes up. I wore a 2 last year, and was 18 weeks pregnant for this rental - the 4 barely fit. So, not the best option for a pregnant person given how structured the tailoring is throughout the bodice (I know this seems obvious to most people, ha!). Highly recommend - you'll feel like a classy lady and get tons of compliments!

Runs small. I needed two sizes bigger.

I am 5'6" 112 pounds and literally no boobs. I normally have trouble with "small dresses" that run too large. This dress however almost didn't fit. I got my normal size and then sized up just in case. I couldn't get my normal size over my nonexistent hips. BUT the larger size fit like a glove. It was amazing. Very tight, not much wiggle room but I would absolutely rent this dress again.

Like other reviewers, I had to pour myself into this dress and was afraid I would be uncomfortable all night but wasn't. The fabric is very thick and holds everything together so felt great and received so many compliments!

5'3 & 130 lbs, usually a 2-4 in dresses but ordered a 6 & 8 in this... ended up wearing the 8 and it was still a little snug...dress is gorgeous and would recommend.

The arms especially were extremely small, nonetheless I received many compliments on the dress and wish I could have kept it!

Loved this! Size up! I actually tried a 6 but went with the 10 for comfort. Busty girls can still wear a bra. I wore one but had to keep pulling the top section up. Dress is difficult to dance in since you can't move your arms. Beautiful dress!

I poured myself into this gorgeous dress! I am a solid size 4 and based on others reviews, I sized up to an 8. That advice was perfect. I am 5'2 and I like the longer length. For reference, I have an hourglass shape, 32D. You will have limited mobility in the arms, but the dress is really fabulous.

Man, was this dress a hit... but the other reviews are NOT lying about it running small. I'm usually around a 4, sized up to a 6 and could BARELY zip it up. By the end of the night, it was stretched out and much easier to wear but it took a lot of dancing to get it there. Either way, it was worth it - LOVE LOVE LOVED the dress.

This picture doesn't do it justice. When I say this dress is everything, I mean EVERYTHING. I was voted best dressed by my coworkers and they're never that nice lol. The "cons" of this dress are: it runs small and you will need help getting zipped in. You won't be able to lift your arms very much. And it shows the outline of your undies. Some helpful tips are to get this dress a couple of sizes up or to go to the website for this designer and use their measurements to determine your size. You WILL NOT NEED a bra or shape wear, trust me!! I will highly recommend no show undies tho. Get this dress. Do it. Click "reserve".

The fit is true to size & being a tall woman that wears 5 inch heels it was the classy length. Still sexy but conservative! Never ending compliments! The great little Black Dress. Every woman that is looking too politely turn heads, this is the dress. The packaging is highly organized and easy to access.

I just had a baby - 2 months ago and this was perfect and so glad I sized up 2 sizes. I'm in between sizes and my bust was even bigger than expected bc I'm nursing so I was all bust! But loved the curves, loved the material- thick enough to hold the girls in! If you are curvy be prepared for some major cleavage. But I still thought it was super classy dress. Loved my first rental!

There are no words in the dictionary to describe how fantastic this dress was. Based on the reviews I ordered a size 4, initally it was too small. I removed my bra, and it fit perfectly. It hugs your hips, so it was a bit restricting when trying to dance. I am on a hunt to find this dress so that I can purchase it!

When they says it runs small, BELIEVE THEM!! I usually wear a 4, I rented and 8 and it was snug but very flattering. Sitting, going to the bathroom, putting shoes on we're challenging but the pay off was my husband jaw dropping every time he looked at me. He must have told me I was beautiful more than any night I can remember in 15 years!! Plus my daughter said I should buy the dress. Win win!!

This was a sleek and elegant dress! I received so many compliments...it hugged in all the right places! Per the reviews I ordered a higher size than normal. (Depending on the designer I can wear anything from a 4-8) I ordered an 8 and a 10 and the 8 fit perfectly. It is limited with arm range of motion, but manageable!

Absolutely loved this dress, once I figured out the sizing. I am normally a 2 or 4, and needed an 8 in this. The 6 zipped, but I couldn't breathe. Comfortable and well made. I would rent this again in a heartbeat.

Holy moly. This dress. I basically had to pour myself in and have my husband zip me up. If you have flaws (see my arm fat in pictures above), they will be noticed. There is almost no stretch to this dress so size up! I am normally a 2 for a-line dresses, 4 if it is fitted. That said, I got compliments ALL night. I felt fabulous and very va-va-voom. This is quality material, very thick, and it's a beautifully made dress.

Runs small - im usually a 0, and i wore a 2. The arms are super snug. Dont expect to be able to move them at all! Or reach anythikg above your waist. But well worth it!

This dress is definitely a showstopper. Wear this to a black tie event with no dancing because there was no moving in this dress. I ended up changing into my backup dress because it was so uncomfortable. This dress runs SMALL so definitely size up! I hate I didn't get to wear it all night, but comfort won the day.

This dress was very flattering but reviews about it being uncomfortable are definitely true. I normally always select fashion over comfort, particularly for a wedding but this one was especially brutal- first time in memory I was more excited to take off my dress than my shoes. Normally I wear a size 2 or 4 so got the six, perhaps sizing up even more would have helped. That being said, I would probably still wear it again!

It was gorgeous but i didn’t get the option for a backup size and went with the 6. I should have sized up to the 8. I literally felt my circulation being cut off to my arms, and my thighs didn’t stop touching until i took it off. Glad i didn’t drive because i had to shove myself into the Uber. Again, it’s beautiful but no stretch at all.

I was super excited (& somewhat nervous) to rent this piece after reading through the many reviews regarding fit and sizing. I am a slender build and typically wear a 4 (or at most a 6) in dresses. Still, I carefully considered reviews that suggested going two sizes up and so, I hesitantly ordered a size 10 (as there wasn’t an 8 available). Praise be for the smaller size not being an option, because the rental would have been a complete fail. The size 10 was *quite* form fitting; owing to the restrictive nature of the sleeves, I dare say a 12 may have even been ideal. That stated, I wouldn’t suggest wearing this piece for any event that requires a lot of arm movement or perhaps even leg movement (given that it’s a pencil skirt fit). Though, it’s perfect for a ‘stand still and be seen’ type of outing - and it’s gorgeous :)

Pro: Fabric is so thick, I didn't need Spanx. Con: You really can't lift your arms much. Great fit, and I'd rent again.
