Felt glamorous in this dress! It was also very comfortable. I wore it to a gala and got many compliments. Since it's a mermaid style, keep in mind it's a little bit more difficult to dance/get in and out of the car. But overall a great dress!

It was little revealing through the mid section so I wore control top panty hose and that did the trick. Overall the dress fit perfectly but it was definitely snug. The 6 was looser thru the mid-section but the top kind of gaped. Beautiful dress!

Quality classy dress. Great fabric, cut, and color. Sizing: I'm usually a 6, sometimes an 8 if fitted waist. I need to return this size 6 for an 8. I would still say this dress runs true to size.

I found the dress a little large in the waist but snug in the hip. It could have been because the dress may have been designed with a shorter frame in mind, but I made it work.

I am "hippy" with small shoulders & bust so fitted dresses like this are always a challenge. I took a chance and the size 8 worked. It was a bit snug through the back side and a bit loose through the top side - just about as perfect as clothes get on my body. I like the weight of the fabric and the underlining. Since I am not a ruffles & ribbons kind of girl the small flair at the bottom was a perfect amount of femininity. Simple elegance.

Would recommend only if you're going to be standing all night. Rented to wear to a work party but I didn't end up wearing it because it was so hard to sit in. There are also two layers of fabric and for me the inside layer kept bunching as I walked. It's form fitting but I had extra room in the tummy area.

I didn’t wear the dress. Doesn’t fit tell well on a small frame. The top does not sit well 32Dand through the torso the dress did nothug well enough

I rented this in two sizes (6 and 4) but ended up wearing a different back-up dress. The 6 was perfect up top but too big in the hips/butt. The 4 was good in the hips/butt but too small up top! I also found that while the dress was flattering from the front, it was not flattering from the side; I suspect it only works well if you have a very flat stomach.

Runs small but worked well with spanx.

This is a stunning dress - I only tried it on and didn't wear it to my party because it was a little too fancy - but I would absolutely rent this again for the right occasion. It fits LIKE A GLOVE - probably wouldn't need a bra. The color is a brilliant red and the hem is actually a little asymmetrical which I don't think you can appreciate from the model's picture. I'm between an 8 and a 10 and the 8 was tight - but looked so good. I didn't get to try a 10 because the 8 was the only size they had. I'm 5' 4" and 140 lbs, I'm also 40 and I didn't feel foolish in this dress - it felt age appropriate :)

The fit was much looser than the other cinq a sept dress I have. I had a lot of space in the midsection, which was not so flattering.

Ended up not wearing. This was so cute and really flattering in most places, but I'm a bit muscular, which did not bode well for the sleeve situation. I could have made it work, but it would have been really uncomfortable. Overall, really beautiful color and would fit nicely on someone with slim arms.

Generous in the tummy, tight in the hips. Next size up fit the hips but was too large in the bust.

This dress has a flirty neckline. Like every dress by this label it highlights a womans body.

I ordered a size up and it fit through my hips and bust, but the midsection was baggy and the arm holes were super tight. I'd probably have to buy this dress a size up then get it altered if I wanted to wear it.

I cannot seem to figure this brand out. I've sized up 1-2 sizes on some items and they were still too small. I'm usually a 0-2 depending on the brand, got this one in a 4. The hips were comically large and the bust was too small. I not somewhat small busted and have a substantial backside. It makes no sense.

This Dress fits small. Size up when choosing a primary size. Other than fit, this dress is gorgeous and could potentially be a hit, if you have the right size.

Unfortunately I was unable to wear this dress as it runs VERY SMALL! I am a pretty true size 8 and I could barely get this dress on and zipping it up was out of the question. I would say to size up at least one or maybe two sizes.

Loose on top and skin tight on bottom. Even sized up, but could not wear.

I have rented and also own several dresses by this designer. This particular dress was very large. Size down if you can.

Beautiful dress, amazing quality. The proportions were just off. At 5'3" the flared hem hit me well below the knee, making it impossible to walk. My arms also wouldn't fit in the sleeves - not even close. I also couldn't even get it over my hips. I'm usually a size 6, but the next size up wouldn't have helped with the disproportionate cut. Sadly returned it.
