The thick material made it perfect for a winter cocktail event. The dress fit snug and hugged all the right areas. I'm on the taller side and it still came down a little longer than tea length so I wish it was a tad bit shorter. Like the previous reviews stated, the arms are restricted but it wasn't too annoying. Overall, I loved the dress and felt like it really gave off the classic vintage vibe.

It fit just right, which was good because I always get stressed with form fitting ones like this. It was nice and thick so it was good for October in CO, and also it smoothed me out a little (though I also wore some smoothing undies.) wore without a bra. Because it was heavy, it did kind of slowly slide down my body over time, but this didn't matter for my event as I was sitting and eating most of the time, lol.

This dress fit like a glove and the material is thick enough that I didn't need to wear spanx etc. I would definitely rent this dress again and got tons of compliments! This dress is a size 2, but I usually wear a 4 and think that probably would have fit well.

Based on the reviews, I ordered the size 0 and size 2 just in case. It was for a barn wedding and I loved it! The 0 fit perfectly, it was easy to walk, sit and dance in. Although - the off the shoulder straps were a little tight and it was difficult raising my arms but that didn't bother me much. I received tons of compliments on how great I looked, so I'd say this dress was a hit!

Nice quality dress, definitely runs a little small. Was tight getting on but once on it was pretty comfortable.

This made my boobs look great but it bunched up in the back right above my butt. I couldn't figure out why because it fit well everywhere else. I guess it was just ill-fitting for my body type. I wanted to love it but ended up not wearing it because of how bad it bunched up when I walked and I like a form fitting dress. Oh well! I love RTR and will try back again! Just not this designer

Fits like a glove, feels great on, heavier material but not too heavy, hugs in all the right places, very comfortable & is a stunning dress on. Only con is the zipper a bit of a challenge only in the seam

Form fitting. Made the booty and cleavage look good but chest looked flat from the side. Slightly difficult to dance in due to the sleeves and pencil skirt.

I usually can wear a 4 or 6 in this brand and ordered 6 & 8 based on reviews. Wore the 6 but probably could have gone with a 4 if it was available. Tall, slender with curves and it fit like a glove. Wore with a bra, little extra room in top area and I'm a C-D usually

I got so many compliments! Had to go a dress size up for my chest, but the extra fabric wasn't too bulky or awkward anywhere else. Very thick material, and stayed in place all night.

This dress was so perfect for my event! It's really thick so it hides all of tour flaws and makes it great for the colder months. I would definetely recommend this dress to a friend.

I was trying to decide between this navy dress or a hunter green one for a winter wedding and only last minute pulled the trigger and wore the green one. This dress was thick and very forgiving and hugged in all my problem areas, smoothing them out. I sized up after reading the reviews and I would reccommend just going one size up. :)

4 stars only because it was a little uncomfortable because of how tight it was. I had several other options, but I truly loved this one, so the tightness was worth it! I didn't have an 8 to try on, and the 6 fit beautifully, it was just a bit uncomfortable.

I felt like Jessica Rabbit in this dress - it's super sexy and very form-fitting. My problem was that my breastfeeding boobs were too big for it. I was constantly pulling it up and checking to make sure it wasn't slipping down. And it does slip down. I initially had a strapless bra on and ended up taking it off because I felt TOO va-va-voom in it. I was so self conscious that I pulled the sleeves up as if they were spaghetti straps so that I could dance without feeling like I was jiggling all over the place. Overall I felt beautiful but wouldn't wear it again. Maybe after I'm done breastfeeding?

After reading reviews and seeing that the majority of people recommended sizing UP for this dress, I went with that and ordered a 2/4 (I normally order 0/2 from RTR). Did it fit? Yes. I do think, however, I would have been fine in my normal 0. There was some extra fabric bunching in the back around my waist but didn't bother me in the slightest and lets be honest, only I could probably tell. Everything I read about the sleeves being restricting was true haha! Couldn't really lift my arms too high and by the end of the night felt like they were cutting into my upper arm a bit. Still, I LOVED the way it looked and felt very classy. I'm very small chested (thank you breastfeeding) so didn't wear a bra and the fabric is on the thicker side so no spanx for me either! All in all, I was happy with it!

Super simple but elegant! Elongates which is great. Maybe a little long for shorter people. Just past my knees and I'm 5'10"! Thick material so it was pretty warm which was great. Sometimes the lining would show at the bottom and you can't really raise your arms over your head which are the reasons I gave it 4 stars.

This dress was classic. The fabric was heavy which is great to hold you in and for a nice and breezy fall wedding. The off the shoulder cut is super flattering although it is restrictive to moving your arms a lot. Overall a great rental.

The material is thick and super flattering. I’m 5’3 and the length worked just fine; all-around perfect for a black tie optional wedding. The only downside is that it was a little difficult to dance in (tight + off the shoulder), but I certainly made it work. :) Would rent again!

For runs small. My arms felt constricted. Also the dress came smelling a little funky. I ended up changing before dancing.

This dress is beautiful and classy- I did size up from my normal size from a 2 to a 4 and it was a smart move because the 4 fit like a glove. Downfalls are that the offshoulder arms are tight and left me unable to really lift my arms and with red marks. The material bunched a little at the waist but nothing major since the material is dark. Lots of compliments if only I could lift my arms!

I absolutely loved this dress! This definitely runs small so I recommend ordering a size or two up and getting a back up size. It fit perfectly and I received so many compliments. I am small chested and this fit great with a sticky strapless bra. Dress stayed in place all night even with dancing and looked amazing! Thank you so much!

I sized up from a 4 to a 6 and this fit great. It was form fitting but not overly tight. Looked great!

Rented this for a formal but ended up wearing something more flashy. This one fit perfectly and was sexy and elegant. I will definitely rent this again for another formal occasion!

I zipped in but very barely. Couldn't lift my arms. It's such a pity I couldn't wear it because it was wonderful-- and even for how tight it was, I still managed to sit down on my bed and test the give of the fabric. Maybe you'd just need to have a less hourglass figure for it!

Absolutely loved this dress but chose to wear another one that is long due to it being a black tie wedding. I'm pregnant and this made me feel beautiful and made my baby bump look great! The material was nice and strong with give that was perfect for my belly.

Super comfortable and the material is thicker than I expected but it was great for the cold weather and super flattering!!!
