The material is thick and hugs in all the right places

I've never felt better in a dress. It hugs your body perfectly and hides any imperfections. I'm usually an 8 and ordered a 10 since all the reviews stated it didn't have much give. I have a big butt and wide hips and a 10 fit me perfectly. I will order this one in other colors too super classy yet sexy!

This dress is amazing! I originally ordered this as a back up in a 4R a long time ago even though I know it would be too small after reading reviews, but I just wanted to try it anyway. So this time around I knew I would be a 6R even though I had lost a little weight since then. To my surprise it was actually a little big in my waist area, but with good posture it wasn't noticeable! Definitely recommend this dress and plan on ordering it in the other colors in the future. (I'm 5'6" 130lb)

I absolutely loved this dress. I felt sophisticated and sexy and received compliments all night long. It runs extremely small especially around the hips. I normally wear an 8 but the 10 fit much better. I actually ended up having some room around my chest but the 8 would have been to small around my hips and thighs. Im already looking at renting this dress again in another color for the summer!!

This was my first time using Rent the Runway and I have to say I had a great first experience. I loved this dress!! Got so many compliments. Definitely runs small, however, I did wear my usual size. I would size up for the backup. Very elegant, but sexy dress. It's pretty tight around the hips/thighs, but was still easy to walk in. High quality material added to the classic look of this dress.

It was the perfect length and fit. a little tough to walk up stairs since it's a little tighter around the knees but so fun! got lots of compliments but as everyone else says, go up a size. Loved this dress!

The fit was snug but not in a bad way. It hugged all the right areas and with the help of spanx was super flattering. The ONLY drawback is that it is tight down in the ankles so you have to take the whole dress down to use the rest room. Not a big deal at all compared to how awesome of a dress this is!

This was the perfect dress for a black tie wedding. The thick material of the dress made the fit very flattering. A little tight at the bottom which made dancing and going to the bathroom difficult but overall amazing dress.

Loved the fit of this dress - it was very flattering and looked great in photos. So glad I added it to my shipment. I almost didn't pick it at first because it seemed plain, but the fit makes it a stand out. You absolutely need to size up, and as other reviews mention, you'll need someone to help you zip up after each bathroom break. Worth it though!

Fit was great and made my body looks great. The top could have been a little more snug because I had to pull it up a few times.

I had the 4 and the 6 but I'm a 32D and ended up going up to the 6 to make the top fit. Very flattering dress I would rent this again for sure!

Rented for a formal wedding in September. Was absolutely perfect for the event. Hit just below my knees (for my tall ladies) Only con was it was tight and difficult to dance with where it hit on my legs. Would probably rented one more size up next time. Beautiful fabric and didnt fall down the entire night.

I loved the look of this dress. But don't rent this dress if you don't feel like unzipping the entire dress to go to the bathroom or if you want to be able to walk up stairs without looking like a penguin! LOL This was pretty true to size except the top was a big loose.

I liked this dress but the fit wasn't great. I could have gone down a size for a more snug fit. I found myself adjusting the top a lot. It was big on chest but also snug on hips/almost impossible to pull up to go to the restroom (TMI?). But overall it was a solid dress!

I loved how classic and simple this dress was. I'm smaller in the chest and waist and bigger in the hips so if you're the same, this might not be the dress for you. I could have worn the 4 to fit my top, but couldn't get it over my hips. I squeezed into the 6 for my hips and didn't fully fill out the top but made it work. I'd definitely suggest getting your regular size and going up one for your backup option.

I really like this dress. I think a 12 may have been too big on the top but perfect at the bottom. Overall, because it is so figure flattering, I give this 5 stars. I think I will need help in the ladies room though but who cares, it's a family event. :) I didn't size up because it wasn't available. Won't be eating till the event to make sure I eat at the wedding.

This was my second time wearing this dress for a black tie wedding. This time, I actually wanted a different option and rented 5 (yes 5) other options. I didn't like them as much as good ol faithful black tie dress and came back to this one and rented it as a replacement (thanks for saving the day RTR). I am hippy, have a booty, but normally a size 4-6 dress. I wore the 10 but probably could've done the 8 mostly due to the chest (I think I wore the 8 last time). It's a keeper.

Loved this dress it made me feel like a princess lol and it wasn't even my wedding! A little tight on my bust but nothing too crazy i am a size 2 and the only issue i had was the zipper seemed to be messed up

THIS DRESS. So gorgeous and made me feel beautiful! I've never felt prettier in a dress. Hugs in all the right places and I received so many compliments. It did have some cons though, not flattering when sitting due to it being very snug. I wore it to a summer formal wedding and it was definitely a little uncomfortable and hot at times. It runs small so size up and find a bathroom buddy to help with the zipper. I would wear this dress to every event if I could! And shout out to their customer service. This dress was perfect for the holiday work party I attended. It is very classy and fits very well. It is form fitting and fits true to size. It was hard to take big steps in this dress and getting into my uber was uncomfortable, so be careful of the tightness in the legs. Overall a great dress that I'd rent again!

I loved this dress! A classic LBD. It was a simple and elegant style for a New York wedding. It hugged all my curves and the fabric is thick which is nice. I did opt for Spanx just to hold in and flatten the tummy area. I am also a little short (5'3") so it fell right above the ankles - I think it would have looked even better had I worn taller heels. There is not much "give" around the bottom of the dress so walking up stairs was a challenge. Add a nice statement necklace and this dress received tons of compliments!

Loved everything about this dress! Perfect for short and curvy ladies as it accentuates every curve you have in the best way. Great for a formal wedding. Only recommendation is to size up!

this dress runs small! i ordered up based on other reviews. i am a 6/8 and ordered both the 10 & 12. ended up going with the bigger size (more breathing room) but the 10 could have worked in a pinch. wore a strapless bra and spanx (def needed shape wear!). gorgeous, simple, and classic. very comfortable. would most certainly rent again!

Loved this dress! Felt like a million dollars wearing it. It was elegant and sophisticated but sexy enough to show my hourglass figure. I usually wear a 6 in dresses but only the 12 was available, after reading reviews I went with the 12 anyway. I’m a 36DDD so the 12 fit my chest perfectly, it could have been more form fitting in the waist and hips if I had sized down but perhaps that would have compromised the fit around my bust. Still looked gorgeous and made me feel gorgeous!!

The dress was such a hit!! I wore the size I typically wear; however, it runs a little small in the hips. I had a hard time walking up the stairs at the party but it was so knockout that I didn't mind! I would definitely rent again!
