Ended up wearing the size zero so I could go without a bra, but it was quite tight. The slit made it work for someone as short as I am. Material is thick and lies nicely.

I wore this dress for a work event. I don't typically dress up very often so I get really hesitant to wear something nice and tight fitting but this dress hugged everything in in all the right places. I got lots of compliments and will definitely be using rent the runway again!!

Wore this to chaperone the prom. The 2 fit but I convinced myself to wear the 4 because I didn't want it to be so tight on my butt at a school/work event. It was stretchy so they both fit fine so it's perfectly okay to size up.. I wouldn't size down because you'll see thong/panty lines. I'm just petite up around my upper back so the black bra I was wearing would show under my arm a bit. I brightened the picture a bit since it was dark and it shows that more. Overall, I loved the dress. The slit was perfect too!

I ordered this dress years ago for a wedding and I knew it was one of the dresses I would plan to order again. 2 years later, still one of my favorite dresses! I went with the 6 this time, perfect fit! 10/10 would recommend.

The fit was true to size! The color is a dark navy. I love that this vendor uses heavy quality fabric, but it is still breathable and fluid. This dress was dressy enough, but not too formal. I also loved that it fit me. As a petite woman, it is extremely difficult to find dresses that fit in the torso or across the shoulder area. This dress would look great on a taller woman as well. It was very comfortable and easy to move around. Highly recommend!

Size up. I recently lost 30 pounds so I was unsure if a size 10 or 12 would fit. Thank goodness they offer a free size. The 12 was snug but it's supposed to. I needed help zipping with even going to the bathroom so it's very form fitting but absolutely beautiful. I am a size 10 in jeans and my bust is a C cup. It does push down on your chest so just wear a padded strapless bra. Many reviews from other customers were size 4 so i was a little nervous. If your between a size 10 and 12, this dress will make you feel incredible!

This dress was perfect for the rehearsal dinner I attended. I will say, I'm busty (32G) so the top was very tight on me. Otherwise it was perfect!

The reviews on sizing for this dress are mixed, but for me it ran small. If you have a butt or hips, I would recommend sizing up. I am usually a 4 and wore the 8. Both the 6 and the 8 fit when I tried them on, but the 6 was very restrictive through my butt and hips. The 8 gave me a little more breathing room to walk and dance. Other than sizing, the cut is conservative but the slit and ruffle give it some sexiness. It looks great dressed up with some statement jewelry and shoes!

Ok this was my favorite rental so far! I was a little worried since some of the reviews said it ran small, but it worked out perfectly for me! I felt it was pretty true to size, but the top has no stretch, so if you have a larger bust, you may have issues. I’m a D cup and while the top was snug, it worked out fine. If you’re larger than that, it may not work for you. I got SO many compliments on this dress! It is incredibly flattering, and the material is thick enough to help hide any imperfections. It’s a beautiful dark navy color. It was perfect for a formal wedding! I’m actually sad to return this one, I wish I could keep it!

I LOVED this dress! I felt so confident and beautiful in it. I rented this for a military ball that was cocktail attire. This dress runs small though. I ordered a 4 and 6, and definitely had to wear the 6. An 8 may have even worked better. I was afraid of the length, but when I put on heels with it, it was perfect! Definitely recommend!

It is form fitting and runs a bit small. I was able to squeeze into a 6 (my street size), for reference I am 5'6" and 145 lbs somewhat athletic build, but not because it stretches because it only stretches a little bit. I got so many compliments and likes, which made me feel great. Would be awesome to wear to a class reunion to strut your stuff. If I hadn't been seen by everyone in this dress, I would rent again!

I typically can wear 0 or 2, however I wore the 4 and it was pretty snug! Very comfortable to dance in, I didn't wear a bra bc it was so tight it held everything in place. Would recommend this dress for sure! I'm shorter and the length was great!

This was my first rent the runway and I am in love! I ordered the 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 6 for a little extra breathing room (size up!) It runs small, but the material is thick so it smoothed out everything (I didn't even have to wear a bra). It was hard to move much and walking up stairs took a little extra time with snug silhouette but overall it was a perfect rental. I felt so elegant, loved!

I rented this dress for an event last spring and I loved it so much that I decided to rent it again! I failed to remember how small it runs. I typically wear a 4 and ended up squeezing into the 6 because I forgot that I should have actually ordered the 8. I absolutely love the neckline on the dress, the overall fit is form fitting but classic. I am 5'3 130 lbs and the length hit me mid shin. I ended up going bra-less with it since I am small chested. Fabric is also nice and thick . Would rent it a third time!

The thick fabric and lining skims the body but stretches to move with you and doesn't feel tight. Hides imperfections. I wore a racerback bra, fabric would allow you to go without. Left knee is exposed when walking/sitting, so it doesn't feel as "long" on. Was perfect length to cover some bruises and veins! :) Rented for an out of town wedding and would def rent again for a local event.

I wore this dress for a black tie optional fundraiser in late March and an indoor wedding in mid-May. It was perfect for both. I fell in love with the dress - it's elegant and accentuates your shape, and is tight without being inappropriate. I felt quite comfortable around my boyfriend's family and felt very classy. You'll want to wear a strapless bra or one that connects in the back, and make sure to order up since it runs small - I'm typically a zero and the 2 was still snug, but the right choice.

Ultimately I loved this dress. I'm very much pear-shaped so the size 6 top half was a little big and the bottom half a little snug- if I could take a size 4 top half and put it on a size 8 bottom half it would have been absolutely perfect! The fabric is nice and thick so no Spanx needed (which helped since the bottom was tight on me) and I wore a nude strapless bra. My husband, who usually doesn't "get" ruffles even liked the ruffle detail and thought the cut was super flattering. I got tons of compliments on social media when I posted this pic!
