The easiest outfit to make you look like a million bucks. You have to embrace the era of the style but I got so many compliments! Loved.

I felt like I should have been on an episode of Suits in this ensemble. The fabric is breathable but well-made. I loved how it played while walking but I will say while sitting the slit was just a little too revealing for me so I felt uncomfortable throughout meetings, but the dress itself is gorgeous.

Would love to buy this. It’s a great, flattering fit dress. I’m 5’1” and the length was perfect.

Cinq à Sept Ambre Dress size 6 - wear when you want to stand out. The balloon sleeves are so dramatic & the top is very sheer- wear nude or lacy foundations. The blouse is attached to the dress. Side zipper. The buckle/wrap is more decorative- very slightly able to use it to cinch the waist. Loved the contrast stitching, attracts all the dog hair but I still wore it. The slit was extremely high on my thigh especially sitting so I had to stitch it up for the office. I think our petites would rock this with the high slit and unbuttoning the buttons.

Had to use hair ties to manage the sleeves. Great quality fabric, the slit is a bit too revealing and needs to be managed. Otherwise I recommend it.

I absolutely loved this dress, but b/c I’m in between an 8 and a 10 with my curves it was an interesting time. I wore it to the office, was super comfortable but note: I have a bust and booty. The buttons were gaping a wee bit with an 8 (size 10 wasn’t available) so that’s why you’re seeing the bolo tie paired with it to hide the gaping tbh. If the 10 were available, you’d be hearing me complaining about the lack of waist definition instead 😅

Super comfortable. Was a little on the large side but I made it work. Great dress for work.

I usually size up in this brand but should have rented my regular size. Size 6 was too large in the hips and maybe the dress would have looked better if the fit was tighter. I did get a few compliments from other ladies in my office but all the guys hated it.

This dress is sooooo wonderful. Comfortable, easy, travels well, looks great on and compliments flow. The slit is a little high but not noticeable until you sit down, which wasn't a big deal for me. True to size and fit like a glove for me.

This is a very quality dress with beautiful details. I love the stitching and the material. The black fabric feels just the right thickness and is durable while being flexible. It hangs beautifully. It feels romantic and academia at the same time, without overdoing either.

This looks like it’ll be perfect for hourglass, but if you have wide hips and a tiny waist, there’s not enough stretch in the bottom and the waist can’t be cinched tightly. I returned without wearing because too tight on bottom and waist baggy

Slit is a little high

received a lot of compliments on it! I usually wear a 4/6 and got the 4. the sleeves were hard to button and the chest area was tight, but everything else fit just right.

I loved this but couldn't give it five stars because everything fit perfectly but the lowest button. How can the chest be so tight?!

Cute work dress. The collar was a little funky but I probably should've steamed it. Slit didn't feel that high. Got lots of compliments.

I wore to a work function where I was presenting. Looked wonderful and classic. The only issue is the sleeves did not button as the cuffs were way too small - not sure if it was design flaw but I was able to tuck them inside out and use a safety pin to secure, not sure if others had the same experience

I loved this dress (felt a bit piratey) but the sleeves were weird. I have small wrists and I could barely get the buttons closed (I did not get the middle ones but had my husband help do the others). Without his help I would not have been able to button the sleeves. Fit was great and flattering. Slit went a little high if sitting down for work so had to be more conscious of that.

It is a unique dress but still felt classic. the length is great and the slit is tasteful enough. My only complaint is the collar is not very structured so it looked a little sloppy in areas and by the end of the day, the whole front kind of stretched out and widened so you could see the shadow of my bra underneath (which you could NOT when I got dressed)

Would rent again, but the slit is a bit high on the side. If you're going to a conservative event or for work, it may be a bit much.

I have wide shoulders, so the puffiness of the sleeves just made them look too big on me. So didn't wear. Otherwise, nice item.
