Loved this dress from the moment i saw it, but my size wasn't available (I sized down and though it fit, it was quite snug). Still got tons of compliments and was able to dance and party into the night!

I wore this to a wedding in Colombia where the dress code was formal. I didn’t know what other women were wearing so thought a plain black dress was my safest bet. The corset top adds some sexy flair. Be warned… order in your correct length. I was desperate and ordered the 4L because RTR didn’t have a 4R and it was deff too long. But other than that it was a great dress. Here are the try on pics (lol).

The material is thick with a lot of structure! No spanx necessary for this one. DD’s wouldn’t keep this dress up without a bra, which is a rare issue for me, but with a bra it fit like a glove!

Wore this dress to a formal wedding and received many compliments. Wish I went for a smaller size and got the 2. I ended up ordering a 4R and 6R, went with the 4 and the bust was a bit loose even with my padded strapless bra. Had to pin the dress to the bra and watch it all night. Luckily no slips. Would definitely recommend this dress for any formal event !

I normally wear between XS-S and definitely could have sized up to Small but the XS still fit with shapewear. I got a lot of compliments, the shear corset style top sets this dress apart from being a simple black dress. The material is thick and flattering. I would definitely rent again, hot dress!

The fit was just right for me. The only issue was that the length was a bit long. I’m 5’3 and I wore 3+ inch heels and I still had to hold my dress up a little bit to walk and move around. But the fit on my small bust and hips fit just right for me. I didn’t have to tug it up. It stayed in place all night.

It is super glamorous, and I felt amazing, but it as this weird plastic lining in it that was popping out and was painful.

I'm a thicker gal, so was already a bit apprehensive of the mesh-middle dress style, but I figured it would be more of an accent than a highlight. The outer edges of the mesh squeezed me in more than I wanted, so I felt like I had a minor muffin top in my middle. Otherwise, it fit great - I'd have worn shapewear for the event, but even without it I was able to zip up fully by myself. The real downfall for this dress was the skirt, though. Even with the slit, it's not comfortable enough for me to dance in.

The dress fits like a dream. Very good heavy fabric and I received so many compliments for a simple black dress. It’s elegant, classy yet has a twist to it. The only thing is that don’t be fooled by the model’s perfectly flat tummy: the mesh part was more loose than the rest of the dress, so you’ll likely get a bit of love handle there when you sit down… but otherwise it’s great and I’d highly recommend it!

Choose you length. I am 5’4” and pettit was just right.

This dress is SO incredibly sexy and I wish I could have worn it to the black tie wedding I went to. I probably needed a size 12 or 14 because I couldn't zip this up all the way (36D chest). I also have larger hips and my tummy is a bit bigger than I'd like it to be so hard to tell if the larger sizes would have worked for them either. The length measurements definitely did not match the website description (I actually noticed that it seems to be a generic length description that is repeated for a lot of dresses). I'm 5'9" and this barely touched the floor when I was barefoot so there was no way it was going to work with even little kitten heels. Wish I had ordered earlier so I could have tried a bigger size. And also wish this came in a long length for us tall girls...b/c it would have been a SHOW STOPPER to wear.

I normally wear a size 2 and should have gone down a size. The dress was really beautiful overall, but the top half was very loose. Wish I would've been able to wear this one.
