Beautiful detail, many compliments! Very snug, no bra needed. Very sophisticated, high quality fabric. No give whatsoever so you must size up! Lenghth of dress hit me right at mid calf. Goes with most accessories!

The dress does fit slim through the hips and butt. I am 5'9 and weigh 150lbs and usually wear a size 8. I was thankful I ordered the size 10 as well and was happy I did. There was little difference between the 8 and 10 so the size 10 is what I ended up wearing. The zipper is very tough to pull up when you get at the boning. It was like that on the size 8 dress so I know it wasn't just my dress.

I’m glad I read the reviews before and sized up. I normally wear a 2 or a 4 but ordered the 4R and 6R. I wore the 6R and it fit like a glove. Otherwise, great dress and would rent again. Although I am petit, I ordered the regular so it was longer for the formal affair.

This was my first rental and I have to say it set the bar quite high. I wore it to an industry event and received compliments all night! I love that it is a classic LBD with a little "extra" on the bottom, which is what I think makes it. Size-wise I was skeptical when a few reviews mentioned it ran small, but this one actually does. I am a JCrew girl and generally wear XXXS in tops so I figured a size zero would be perfect. Let's just say, I am glad I got a 2 as a backup size, even that was a bit snug. I am pretty slender and straight at 108 lbs/5'4"/32B. Very very pleased with my first rental!

Everyone is right, size up! I wore a 6R and usually I would pick a 2 or 4. The fabric is a nice weight. It was a bit longer on me than the model but I didn't mind. I still got so many compliments! Great dress

Everyone freaked me out that it ran small. I sized up from my usual 4 to a 6 and also ordered an 8. The 8 was huge and the 6 looked like it was made for me. Classic little black dress with a pop!

This dress was great for a wedding and got tons of compliments. I’m typically a size 0-2, 5’4”, 126lbs, 32A. The 4 fit well, was a little longer than I would’ve liked (less midi, closer to a maxi) and there’s a band below the bust that was a little tight! Overall great dress.

I am one of those people that typically does not listen when someone tells me to size up, but this time I did (and THANK GOD!). The 4 fit amazing and I am certain the 2 would not have fit. This is a beautiful dress and I received loads of compliments. Just beware that the zipper sucks and can give you some trouble at the waist where there is a ribbon. You may need an extra set of hands getting into this one.

Fit is so flattering, and LOVE the lace detail at the hem. Too simple for what i was going for for a BTO winter wedding, but this is a perfect LBD!!

I initially ordered this dress in a 4 as that is my usual size and I thought I was the exception to the rule of "sizing up." Well, I should have listened to every single previous review because you HAVE to size up. I ended up getting a 6 and it definitely was very tight fitting, but workable. I was able to sit down, dance, move around and eat 2 pieces of cake all while still feeling comfortable. I am very narrow (read as no curves) so I could imagine having to size up 2 to 3 sizes to have it fit you if you've got some curves. It is an extremely classy dress and I got a lot of compliments! Would recommend.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous! But be warned it runs extremely small . . I usually wear a 4-6 in dresses and I ordered an 8 and a 10. The 8 unfortunately had a broken zipper so I ended up wearing the 10 which was a little big in the hips but fit my rib cage. Overall it's a gorgeous dress and I highly recommend!

Although it was definitely tight around the waist, the result was curves. I'd recommend it, but be prepared to be slightly uncomfortable all night. Felt stunning!

Very very fitted on my figure, which I liked because the fabric was thick and the dress was lined, so I found it to be flattering on my curves. Not necessarily the easiest dress to move around in... I'd probably recommend spanks if you're concerned about your midsection, but that's just me. I rented this for a formal affair at a swanky hotel, but also wore it to work with a blazer and nude heels the following week because I loved it so much. Fun little twist on a basic black dress!

I ordered the 6R and 8R. The only part that was too tight on the 6 was the boobs (32DDD) so i wore the 8. The waist and hips were a little loose but overall great dress.

I wore this to a friend's wedding on NYE and I absolutely loved it. This was actually my free second dress for my first RTR and I ended up liking it more than the main dress I had picked out. Based on the other reviews, I sized up 2 sizes and the fit was perfect. The dress is slim fitting, and hugs in all the right places. Seriously considering renting this one again :)

Ended up wearing a different dress but LOVED this! Reviews suggested size up for boobs and the 10 was snug on my 32H chest. (Wearing a 6 in most other styles) The material is thick and structured. Excellent quality and I️ will definitely rent again!

I love this dress so much but there is nooooo stretch in the middle part. It was very hard to even zip. I also have a large chest (34dd) which didn't help. I sized up to the 8 and probably could have even done the 10 if it was available. I loved this dress though and was glad the 8 still worked. I wore it for a welcome party for a wedding weekend that was "cocktail attire" and the dress was perfect. Highly recommend but save yourself the time and order one size up and two sizes up as your backup...

My biggest issue with dress shopping is usually finding something that is small enough to fit me. Luckily this dress was perfect! I usually will wear a 00, but this 0 fit great - so it probably runs a bit small. The fabric is a little thicker, great quality. The shape of the dress is very flattering and it is easy to move in. I would highly recommend!

Sized up two sizes and it fit perfectly. If I had a larger bust I imagine it may be too tight in the top. The regular was longer than the model in the picture. Would rent again.

I cannot emphasize enough how small this dress is, but I LOVED it! Go up at least two sizes and you'll be fine.

I was so happy with this rental! It was perfect for the occasion--classy yet subtly sexy and surprisingly warm! I paired it with matching red lips and nails to give it a splash of color and to coordinate with the bf. The dress runs small but fit like a glove! I'm usually a size 6 or 8 but after reading other reviews I decided to rent the 8 and the 10 and I'm glad I did! The size 10 was a perfect fit and the thick fabric really "held everything in place" if you know what I mean. ;) Wearing a bra would have been easily possible but I didn't think it was necessary. Also, the length was exactly what I was hoping for! IMO the dress on the model looks a little short but on most of the women in the RTR reviews it hits just above the ankle which is what I was looking for! Overall this would be a great dress to own and I would definitely consider renting it again!

I gave this 5 stars because it truly is an amazing dress and great quality. However, be warned ladies, the other reviews are correct: this dress runs very small. I am 6'0 150 lbs and wear anywhere from an 8 or 10 (usually more of an 8). Based on the other reviews I ordered a 10 and 12 as my back up. The 10 wouldn't go over my hips. The 12 was snug but fit fairly well considering. Other than the size I really have no complaints. It was an amazing dress and I felt really pretty the whole evening. Definitely recommend!

This is by FAR my favorite dress I've rented. I rented it for a wedding, and it's the classic LBD. But the longer length added by the lace at the bottom was exceptional. It didn't have me worrying about moving all night or sitting down. However, the reviews are true; this dress runs smalls. I'm consistently a size 0 and I had to have help getting zipped into the size 2. But! Once I was zipped in, I was perfectly comfortable and could breathe comfortably. Just be careful if it's super snug on you not to pop the back seam while dancing.... oops. But, the insurance covered the popped seam to my relief. Still worth it and my favorite, and I will DEFINITELY order this again! You will get compliments all night :) Thanks RTR!

I wore this dress to a garden wedding, and boy, I am SO HAPPY i did. This dress was classy, beautiful, and sexy. I was worried that it would be too plain, but that was not a concern once i put it on. This dress hugs very very tight! I would get a size bigger than your regular fit. I am 5 foot 3, 130 pounds, typically a size 2 (ended up wearing a tight-fitting 2), and wore 5 inch heels with this dress. I got many compliments and i will be renting this dress again! This was my first RTR and it was a great experience!!

This is the perfect LBD! Though form fitting, the longer length and lace at the bottom makes it unique and gives it class. As the other reviewers noted, this dress runs very small and has minimal stretch around the waistline- I normally wear a 4/6, and the 6 just fit. While I would've felt more comfortable in an 8, this dress is very flattering. I highly recommend this for a cocktail/formal affair-- just remember, size up!

I received this dress and panicked. I am normally a size 0, 2 at the most, so I rented a size 2 and a size 4. When the dresses arrived they were both the same size, there was no difference between the size 2 and the size 4. I couldn't get it zipped. Finally, I zipped it up the front and twisted into it and it worked. The dress was gorgeous but ran extremely small.

The photo me in this dress isn't the best--I'm wearing it with a shrug and the angle isn't the most flattering. Trust me, the dress is AMAZING. My boyfriend's jaw dropped when he saw me wear it. I'm a true size 6 and occasionally size down to a 4 or size up to an 8. Based on the reviews, I sized up the 8. It was slightly large on the top for me (totally normal for me as I wear a 32B bra and could probably get away with a 32A...) and it fit like a glove everywhere else. The dress does have a bit of stretch and I felt comfortable sitting and dancing in it. I wore this to a NYE party with a 1920's bootlegger theme. The dress isn't a flapper dress, but I thought the lace at the bottom has a little of that vibe, so it was perfect since I didn't want to wear a costume. I would rent this again without hesitation. LOVED IT!!!

Saw a lot of reviews saying that it ran small but did not find that to be the case. Ordered sizes 2 and 4 and wore a 2, although I wish I had ordered the 0 because the 2 was a little bit large around my hips. Wore it to my office holiday party and it was perfectly flattering without being too revealing for a work event.

This has been my favorite RTR dress, hands down. It was classy and sexy at the same time and I got a ton of compliments! The only downside is that the top part is pretty tight with very little give, so I couldn't wear a bra. But I would still rent this dress again over and over!

Snug but flattering. Thin band below bust can make it tough to breathe deeply, but who needs oxygen when you look good ;) Consider sizing up or ordering larger back-up size. May run longer on shorter girls like myself than as pictured on model, but I didn't mind. Not the fabric I anticipated but again wasn't an issue. Highly recommend!
