Wore this fantastic black dress to a Friday night dinner party on the Upper West Side of NYC. It was elegant and understated yet fabulous all in the same breath. While the rest of the guests were casual, this simple black dress stood out without feeling out of place. It is such a timeless classic it really looks good and could be worn for any occasion. As for cut, it is true to size. I take a 0-2 and the 2 was perfect. The fabric is heavy and double lined, so it drapes great and feels luxurious and substantial. The skirt was a bit long on my 5’2” frame but I was able to wear it as a midi-cut pairing it with 3” heels. Also the hemline is a handkerchief cut, shortening the length on the sides and making it feel lighter all around. There is a zipper on both the top and bottom of the back of the dress making getting into it a bit of a challenge. Once on its easy to wear and good for any occasion. Definitely recommend!

I wore this to a Symphony Gala and loved how comfortable it was for sitting during the show as well as getting around. I have a wider rib cage than many people, so I found that the cutouts puckered a bit more there than I'd prefer, but it wasn't anything that kept me from wearing it. I enjoyed that it had the fun side/back cutouts and varied hem.

I'm between a size 4 and 6 so I got one of each. The 4 fit but the 6 fit a little better. I'm 5'4" 130lbs. I got so many compliments on this dress! I felt like a million bucks! It was so comfortable, I didn't want to take it off!

Beautiful and heavy, zipper of the top is tricky but my husband helped me. This dress was perfect for a cold weather with a long sleeve top or sweater, I love the length, it was perfect

This dress ended up being a last minute replacement after my first rental didn’t fit and I loved it! It fit perfectly on me and I got a ton of compliments. The only problem is that the zipper on the top part of the dress is really hard to get back on, so I would advise not to unzip the top part completely. Otherwise, I highly recommend this dress! This dress fit so well and was super comfortable to wear all day and to dance in. I got so many compliments. I got the size 6 and 8. The 6 fit, but I was more comfortable in the 8. The quality is great and the material is heavy. It was an outdoor, early August ceremony, and I was very hot in this dress out in the sun but was fine for the shaded cocktail hour and indoor reception. The bottom zipper was fine, but the top zipper was difficult to zip if you end up unzipping it completely. I wore a strapless bra and used a little body tape to keep it from peeking out the bottom of the back.

This dress is classy and gorgeous, but has a bit of flair with the open back! The perfect look for our engagement photos! Does run a tad small, I’m normally a four and wore the six in this style.

I really liked this dress! I did not need to wear a bra with it, I danced a lot in this dress, and I was very comfortable the entire time. The only issue I had was that the zipper on the back was a little difficult to mess with at times just when you initially are putting on the item.

This was a great dress for a wedding, the cut out area made it easy to dance, the upper zipper was a bit hard to undo, but over all great dress

Loved this dress! It was super fun to wear. It was my backup for a wedding to which I wore another dress but I really wanted to wear it too, so I wore it to the brunch the next day. I dressed it down a little with lug sole boots and a jacket.

Fabulous, fun, and comfortable. Fit well, but a little tight getting on and the top zipper is somewhat tricky to get started. As someone a bit shorter I worried it might drag without heels (outdoor wedding), but it was perfect. Would absolutely recommend.

I am not normally a size 8. But I’m glad I went up. I am 5’7”, 135, 34DDD and it fit perfect. It could have been a half inch tighter around the torso. Dress is a little heavy, but flows nicely, great for an event. Very sexy.

Overall: I loved this dress and felt super confident in it! I got a ton of compliments and had a great time dancing in it. I don't typically wear black at all, but I thought this was fun and moved well! Length: The length was great, though a bit longer than on the model ha, but did not touch the ground, even when I changed to flats. Fit: It is definitely tight/runs small - I typically wear a 6 but I wore the 8, and while tight, it was fine. I wore a strapless bra and you couldn't see it. Suggest sizing up! Seasonality: This is definitely a warmer weather dress, the fabric feels almost like thing suede but it is lined to be smooth and feels good. Especially with the cutouts, I would not wear this if under 60 degrees unless you want to wear a jacket (which IMO defeat the purpose of the dress!). A side note: You will need help zipping up the top half (there are two zippers due to the cutout) - so just know you'll need a helper!

Runs true to size. Comfortable material make it great for a long night! Still flattering for us small chested ladies! No bra required but a strapless fit nicely. The front cutout won't allow a regular bra. The top zipper had a different mechanism so it definitely requires someone to help you get into the dress! Great dress overall. Lots of compliments - classy but still a little sexy!

I don't have anything bad to say about this dress other than size UP! I'm a natural 34DD (bc it makes a difference) 155lbs, 5,7 and a 6... I had to go WAY up in size due to the reviews and what was available at the time. The fabric is a little thick but not crazy. It's perfect for drinking eating and dancing in excess! It's flattering and comfortable. If I could buy it, I would! Highly recommend

Loved this dress. I wore it to my birthday dinner at a nice restaurant with my husband - overdressed but felt sexy and great! The top zipper was stuck at first and I was worried I wouldn't be able to wear it at all, but we managed to fix it. Otherwise, everything fit like a glove, no weird fabric bunches. Flared skirt was fun to twirl in!

I opted to go with the bigger size and i pulled the sides up a little so that i didnt feel like my skin was hanging over. But the dress was classy and comfortable.

I rented this for a holiday party, along with some other dresses, and this was the winner! The asymmetrical bottom moves beautifully when walking or dancing, the side cut-outs are playful and a little sexy, and the top is great to show the shoulders. I'm a B-cup and didn't wear a bra with this and it was pretty tight, so maybe not ideal for larger busts. The one very minor annoying thing was the zipper of the top part (there's a zipper for the top part, and a separate zipper for the skirt part), it was a little fiddly. Definitely difficult to do up yourself.

This dress fit in all the right places. My only little concern was I'm a 32DDD and the under boob stressed me out. I was able to pull to tuck everything just right and there were no issues all night. Loved this dress!!!!

Im between a 6 and 8 and am glad I went with the 8 in this case. This dress was super easy to wear and very comfy. I wore a backless bra and it worked well. The fabric is thick, but helps shape your curves nicely. Lots of compliments and fun to wear! Perfect LBD.
