Due to having a larger chest, I felt this dress was a tad unflattering with my body type. However, this piece was incredibly comfy - The top half of the dress resembles a teeshirt while the bottom adds volume and flare. I paired with cute printed booties for work.

Lots of compliments from the gals at work. Liked the unique style and details. Empire waist and a lot of fabric in skirt so probably won't be to everyone's liking. Worked well with my height.

It's definitely a lot of fabric. I would say cuter from the front than the side, but I appreciate that you could pull it in a bit at the sides to help give some shape. I was in my 6th month of pregnancy when I wore this and it did a good job of disguising the bump and being comfortable.

Wore this on multiple occasions. It fits exactly as on model. I had to pull it down as the gathered fabric between the knit fabric up top and cotton poplin skirt was hitting my chest area and looked like a maternity dress. This is a stylish choice for an everyday dress. Lots of details.

I belted this to give me a waist and it helped. This is for a stick thin person or a pregnant person. It's comfortable, and gives you an artsy look if you style it right.

I loved how comfortable this dress feels. I didn't like the lining under the skirt...the fabric is super thick and the liner is unnecessary. The back is also open, which I didn't realize when I chose this piece. It's a casual weekend day dress.

Being 8 months pregnant the slip attached was a bit snug, but the rest of the dress was perfect!

The dress definitely runs big. I was 16 weeks pregnant when I wore it and it definitely made me look more pregnant than I was. The lining does ride up but it wasn't that bad. The elastic details at the sides are a bit weird. It doesn't really cinch you in if you make them tighter so I was a bit confused by them. But overall cute and comfy.

I really liked this dress! It has a very particular babydoll silhouette, but if that's something you're into, you're going to love it. It was breezy and comfortable for an NYC summer day (can't give up wearing black, even when it's 90° outside) and was the perfect choice for a Radiohead concert that evening. One thing to watch out for: if you wear shaper shorts underneath, the lining does tend to creep up a bit, so you may need to keep readjusting it. Also, the drawstring toggles at the waist did get a little annoying when my arms were at my side, but not too bad.

This is not your average black dress. It has a very interesting silhouette . The ties in the back add extra flair. Has a very full skirt which is lined with another full skirt underneath. It can be dressed up or down. Although I did not feel particularly skinny in this I did receive several compliments.

This is a really cute dress, but was very unflattering. Might look better on someone with a smaller bust and wider hips. I have a larger chest and fairly straight figure, which this dress did nothing to enhance.

The dress has weird adjustable tabs on the sides and they stick out away from the dress, it looks pretty awkward.

Much too large, with a lot of volume in the skirt. Even though the waist was adjustable, I couldn't tighten it enough.

This dress was WAY more causal in person than the photos. It has a "techy" drawstring waist and the skirt in raw edged where it meets the bodice. The top is jersey.

This is a cute dress for someone very thin with a small bust. It made me look pregnant which is not what I was going for, but it would be adorable on a thin, boyish figure.

I rented this to wear on a trip to Italy - my husband liked it, and I thought it would be stylish and comfortable. It's only one of those things... I wear a 10 (very occasionally a 12) and the Large was a circus tent on me. I am also 5'9" with a b/c cup, and the waist seam was only 1-2 inches below my bust. So the skirt was just gigantic both in length and circumference. I could see this being a great choice for someone who is pregnant or looking to hide their stomach but I would size down! The quality is very good - the T-shirt is soft and the skirt feels nice. I didn't even mind the bungee straps at the side. But unfortunately even with my trip being just around the corner, it's totally unwearable for me. Someone could camp under this dress. I will be returning it to the store and hoping I can't rent something else quickly!
