Great summer top

Wore this out to the bar on a summer night. It was chic yet classic and very comfortable. Looks great with jeans. Wanted to but it

Cute oversized top, can be dressed up or down

The cut of this top is oversized, so consider sizing down. I normally wear a small, but the XS was pretty roomy. This top could be worn loose and baggy or tied in the front with the rounded back hem sticking out. I wore this tied with high waisted jean shorts, but I could see this looking super cute with skinny trousers as well. I would definitely wear this again.

Cute & versatile

The shirt is exactly how everyone explained, a bit boxy. However it's perfect for the front tie and jeans look. It is a thicker almost denim like material, but was still flowy and airy enough where I was fine wearing it in 80 weather in the Florida sun! Will probably be renting again during the summer time.

Cute, if you put in the effort!

I really liked this top! And literally for all the reasons others didn't like it. The fabric was thick, but that means it wasn't sheer and was perfect for Fall. The fabric was also stiff, but once I figured out how to tie the front knot, the top kept its shape all day. Sure, if you tie the knot too high up, your midriff will show. But if you tie the knot loosely and tighten the knot by fluffling out the front, you'll achieve the same look I was able to achieve with high-waisted bottoms. I would certainly recommend this top if you're willing to mess around with it to perfect your OOTD.

Stylist casual top perfect for summer

Fit was flattering and comfortable. Material held up shape but because it was slightly stiff, the tied part often came undone on its own and I had to retie it. But overall worked great. You can choose how high it sits on your waist by deciding how many buttons you want to button up

Cute but runs big

I like this top especially because it pairs well with high waisted bottoms. It was a bit roomier than I expected. Would be better if it was cut a bit closer to the body.

Shirt is cute but a little stiff and boxy for me.

Ok as a casual basic

It was a great casual piece but arrived wrinkled and the shirt wrinkled throughout the work day very easily

Retro Style Top

I saw this on RTR and was so intrigued! When I got it I was confused. It comes untied! It's also very thick fabric. Not what I expected. Still, it was very nice and I wore it twice just not what I had planned to wear it with.

Cute but not practical

I rented this for a Taylor Swift costume for her Reputation tour. (Can you see the Red resemblance?) I actually really liked it except probably wouldn't rent for everyday as it wrinkles so easily! It's not really see through, when I wore it with a t-shirt bra, so it'd be comfortable for a hot summer.

I received compliments on my outfit from the moment I walked in to my office.

The material is nice; however, the fit is wide. I usually wear a small in shirts. I will definitely rent this shirt again only in an XS.

Great summer wardrobe addition

His top goes with so many things. It is a bit short though when tied up and only can wear with super high waste bottoms.

Just Okay

The tie-part was a little short. I felt like I had to unbutton the bottom to get enough fabric for a good tie. I liked the top, but not enough to rent again.

How do you tie this thing?

I've rocked the tied-front look so many times, but I seriously couldn't get this one to work for me! Based on other pics, it seemed like it would be easy to tied with all the buttons done, but I had to undo the last button to get a good knot. And then it just didn't look right after that. The fit of the shirt is really slouchy all over, and the shoulders were a bit wider than what I expected. Overall, not my fav. :/

Weekend ready

A bit boxier than in the image. I would get a size down. The perfect material and relaxed fit for a hot summer day.

Fun and fashionable, but boxy

This top made me feel like I was back in 1992, in a good way. Fun and fashionable, but not super flattering. The cut is boxy and the shirt permanently looks like it's in need of a good iron.

I didn't even wear it. It had the quality of a worn - yet pressed - school uniform shirt.

I should have read the fabric details.

Impractical

Positives: The top is either structured or it was heavily starched after cleaning. That may sound like a negative, but I appreciate that the shirt-as a rental- didn't feel worn and flimsy. Negatives: the medium was very big in some areas which made it impractical to wear with a tie in the front. There are slits on the sides which made tying the front two pieces easy. However the back was all one piece and very long. (I'm 5'3) I tried tucking the back of the shirt in my jeans, but then I lost the look I was going for. I also just felt silly having the front tied up with my midriff showing an the back tucked into my pants. I ended up going with a completely different outfit for this 80s-90s party I was going to.
