It has absolutely no give, it's made of silk. Sometimes I'm a size 2 because of my small cup size but it was to small for my hips. The backup size 4 fit me great but was a tad snug in the hips. I received so many compliments on it, it made me look fantastic. I would definitely recommend this dress to you.

This dress was perfect, love the color and the folds, although the folds on the top of the dress did not hold up that well in the package. Definitely a mini on me since I'm tall, but not too short! Easy to dress up or down.

great dress! i wore it to my dad's wedding and it was a hit! i rented it in a size 6 and 8. the only issue i had was that the 8 fit my thighs and not my bust. and the 6 fit my bust and not my thighs :( so i went with the size 8 and taped the dress around my bust so the top wouldnt fall down..BTW i am a D-cup so this was reallllly odd for me to have to do. a little too short for my liking too! in the evening after things had died down a bit, i paired this dress with some gladiator sandals and a blazer and it looked adorable too!

I really loved this dress. I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes that I rented, which is my normal size. It was a bit snug but the next size up was too big. The color of the dress had a bit more of a pink tone to it than pictured, which I actually liked more than the picture (still, it does photograph lighter, it did in my pictures as well).

I wore this for my cousins wedding this November. As many reviewers stated, its a tight fitting dress through the bust and rib cage but is true to size and quite flattering with the belt. I ended up wearing the 2 dress but the size 4 belt to make the dress more comfortable to sit and dance in. The pin tucks are very pretty in person but did not travel well on the second dress (size 4). RTR was recommended by a friend and this was my very first experience. It was AMAZING! Why spend all that money to own a dress you'll never wear again when you can get an even better one for the same price or less!?

This dress is really cute and modern with the varying pintucks. But definitely runs small. I'm always a size 2 and this dress was really tight and difficult to walk in. I wore it to the ceremony because it matched the other bridesmaids dresses best but wore one of the other dresses to the reception that was more comfortable. The belt comes separate and I didn't wear it because black wasn't in the wedding theme, very cute without the belt and doesn't look like its missing anything.

I usually wear a 0 or 2, but even the 4 was tight for me. I really liked the color and style, and this dress got a lot of compliments. However, I found the dress to be a bit too snug. I am only a 32A, but the bust was very tight, leaving an awkward bulge above the line of the dress in some pictures.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress! It was very comfortable and easy to wear. The best part: no bra required! Wonderful boning for superior support! I will say that the dress fit perfectly in a size 4 and would have been too small in a 2, so this baby does run small. Generally, I wear a 0 or 2, so definitely order a size up.

I am usually a size 6 in most brands and a 6 in this dress fit me pretty well. I am a 34A and it was slightly too roomy in the bust, but a padded strapless bra and some double-stick tape kept the dress in place all night. I'd say if you're above a B cup, but have a small-ish waist and bottom half, then you should probably look for another dress. The silk fabric is light and comfortable. The color of the dress is a pale nude, as it appears on the website. I had to replace the sash with a belt because the one they sent me was way too big. Finally, I'm 5'3 and the hem hit me a few inches above the knee--right where it hits the model. So it was perfect and appropriate for a shorty like me, but may reveal too much leg on a taller woman. Overall, the dress was very flattering on me, a petite woman, and my experience using Rent the Runway was positive. I'd recommend it to others.

I wore this to a dance show in NYC and loved it! I usually worry about fit around the hips but went with the size up and wore a padded strapless bra.

Got compliments on this dress all night when I wore it to a wedding reception. It's a little peach-ier than tan in person. The belt that came with my dress was way too big (must have been from a bigger size) but I was able to safety pin it closed. Felt super comfortable all night. A little tight in the hips, but I think that has more to do with me than the dress. :) Beautiful dress, great experience!

I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding at the end of summer. I'm a fairly true size 6 and this dress fit like a glove, though I was grateful for the size 8 as well because that belt fit much better than the size 6 belt. The color of this dress is just sublime and the texture is incredible. I'm a 34C and required a strapless bra to fill out the top. The built-in bodice is not supportive enough on its own. This was my first RTR experience, and overall, it was great, however I was disappointed to find that the size 6 top-of-zipper clasp was broken (missing, really) on delivery and that the dress had a small stitch in the front, clearly from a repair. It was hardly noticeable, and I likely would have still rented the dress with knowledge of these things, but I think RTR should let renters know about them in advance.

I wore this dress to a wedding. I received compliments all night. The hips are a little tight and the bust a little large, but the belt holds everything in place. Great dress! I was sad when I had to return it.

I ordered this as my back up dress and it ended up being way too tight and the color was much pinker than what is pictured. The belt is poor material. I do not recommend this dress.

Great dress to wear in the summer with a tan. I rented a size eight and a size ten as my back-up. I had to keep picking up my dress during the night because it was so loose. Runs Large! Uncomfortable feeling to not be in the right size but I received many compliments. I also added a faux diamond broach to the belt. I would recommend this dress to any of my friends.

This is a pretty dress. Im usually a size 2 or 4 but after reading reviews I ordered a 4 and 6. The 4 was two small in the hips, and the 6 was too big in the bust. The belt that came with the 4 was super tight, but the belt that came with the 6 was way too big! I ended up wearing the 6 with a strapless bra and having to use fashion tape to keep it held up. Im a C cup so my chest isn't small, but I was having to pull the dress up all night. I also ended up wearing the 4 belt but it was so tight! I hardly ate at the event because of it. Overall it looked really cute but was probably one of the most uncomfortable dresses Ive worn.

This dress was too small to wear, and I didn't love the color. The dress I received looked a bit worn. Wouldn't rent it again.

I wore this dress to a wedding recently. I am a size 4, so I chose a 4 and 6 to ship. The 4 was very tight, but the 6 fit much better. Still, the dress is snug in the hip area, but larger on top. I had to use fashion tape to hold it up all night. I was very unhappy with the belt - only 1 black belt shipped with my order and it was way too big (I had assumed 2 would ship - one belt for the 4, and one for the 6). I had to use safety pins to tighten it in the back and it just didn't look right. I tried it without the belt, but it didn't look great because there are 2 belt loops on each side of the dress. It was a very cute dress, but the fit wasn't right.
