I rented this for an event requiring cocktail attire. I ordered the 6 and they were out of the 8 for a back up size. I decided based on most of the reviews that the 6 should hopefully work. I'm small chested so 8s can be a bit roomy on top. I did get a little worried close to the event but it ended up fitting nicely. I thought it was a cool dress, I'm happy I chose it.

At first I wasn't sure about this one because the zipper was a little sticky to pull up, but that was just because there is a lot of fabric in the middle. I was nervous about the short part at first, but this dress is just so classy. The back is gorgeous. The skirt is interesting. Fit was great. So many compliments! Overall very comfortable.

I received so many compliments in this dress! I wish they had an 8 available because the 6 was a little tight on the chest but definitely doable. I would definitely rent again!

The worst part about RTR? Having to return the dress. I wan't this dress now and forever. It was my senior formal for my sorority and I wanted and unforgettable dress and this did not disappoint. I am 5 11 and had to wear spandex under my dress just so that I didn't flash everyone because of the way I go all out when I dance. Paired with that red lip classic thing that they like, you can't go wrong!!

This dress was PERFECT for the wedding I went to. The slit is very high, which I was worried about, but I wore some little black shorts underneath so I didn't feel too exposed. It was sexy and fun, and I got so many compliments! I wore red heels and had red nails to match that made for a perfect splash of color.

This was such a flattering dress! The cut outs in the back were so chic, but it wasn't overtly sexy or showed too much skin for a family wedding. I got SO many compliments on this! I had actually ordered another dress & got this one as my backup dress, but after trying it on, I had to wear it! I'm usually in between a 4 and a 6, and the 6 was the only size available, so thankfully the 6 fit perfectly! It's a heavier material and stretchy, so very flattering!

The dress was beautiful and I received tons of compliments on it! The slit was high but I safety pinned it and it was fine. The 2 was my backup size as the 4 couldn't be mailed (damaged). Luckily the dress runs a little big and the 2 fit perfect!

I am between a size 4 and 6, but I definitely needed the 6 for this one. The top might have been a little too short for a long torso, so it pulled a little bit in the back, but was fine.

This dress fits true to size. I'm usually a size 4 and have a 32D-DD bust, but was able to fit the 2 (I think cause it was worn a couple times and not new and stiff). I just liked the 2 cause it cinched me in a little more in the waist. I wore a regular bra, though I could have not worn a bra at all with how it holds you in. The slit is super cute and not too sexy for a wedding because of the flounce in it. It was a hit! Everyone was complimenting me. Sophisticated chic with a bit of uniqueness and a nice fit - Perfection! (CAPTION: My friend and a I busting out invisible double dutch on the dance floor!)

Ran a little small, had to wear the 6 when I typically am a 4. Wonderful dress. I was worried about the slit because it was a work event, but it was perfect.

I loved this dress! It was fancy enough for a black tie optional wedding, but still easy to wear and a lot of fun to dance in. I got tons of compliments, both during the night and on photos later, and truly wish I could keep it. As for the fit: I usually go between a size 6 and 8, so I got both sizes to try. While I could get the 6 on, I went with the 8 since I had a bit more room to move (and breathe). I was worried at first about the slit being too high (it comes to above mid-thigh), so I used fashion tape to hold it together. But after an hour or so the tape unstuck and I just left things be, which ended up being more than fine. I also noticed that the back did gape a bit as others said (you can see in the photo that it's not tight to my body on the right—my left—side), but I didn't find it to be too much of an issue.

Fit was great. Super comfortable. Didn't have to wear a bra which was awesome. Got so many compliments. Felt so confident the evening I wore it. Love this dress.

I rented this for a party that called for cocktail attire. I got compliments all night on this dress. It is unbelievably flattering and fun to wear (especially dance in!) The pros: nice comfortable fabric, very well constructed. This dress looks and feels expensive, even down to the lining. I loved that I could wear a regular bra and didn't have to worry about straps showing. The back is open, but because of the black center strip, the dress doesn't shift while you wear it. I also have a short torso and the back did not gap at all for me like it did for a previous renter. The fabric laid down flat and nicely. The cons: THE ZIPPER! As mentioned in a few other reviews, I had to wrestle with this zipper. Not because the dress was too small or the zipper faulty, but because it has to go up over a waist seam and it's hard to get the right torque, with it being a side zipper. I was able to finally get it up by threading a paperclip through the zipper tab hole. Once the zipper was up, no problems, and it came off easily enough. Also, this dress is very fitted in the bodice and waist. My waist is about 26.5" and I would not have been very comfortable in this dress if I was any bigger than that. I am also very small busted (I'm a 30C or a 32B - about 33.5 inches around) and had I been chestier, this dress would have been tight. If you are usually a size two, but larger than a B cup or have a waist larger than 26 or so inches, I would suggest going up to the four. One last thing: I loved the shorter part of the skirt, but it is short. I have long legs for my height and it was well above my fingertips. I wore a black shaper brief under the dress for modesty. The fabric is heavy, so it doesn't fly up when you walk, but if you plan to dance, plan accordingly. :) Feel free to ask me if you have any more questions!

I wore this for an office Christmas party. Was sexy and classy. I got a lot of compliments!! I'm 5'7 so the slit on the side went to middle thigh which was just enough without it being too reviling. If you're taller it might be a little too much. Great dress, wanted to keep it!!

The photos don't do this dress justice, it's comfortable and has a fun slit on one leg.

Tons of compliments on this dress! This was my first RTR and now I'm obsessed. I recently lost 30 pounds and thought I would be a size 10, but ended up being an 8 (and trying on new clothes since, I'm definitely an 8, so true to size). It's excellent to dance in. Wore it with red heels and an undo to show off the open back. If you need to keep it somewhat demure but want to show off a little at the same time, this is a great dress.

The dress definitely runs bigger in the waist than other reviewers mentioned. I ordered my regular size (6) and a size up because I was scared the 6 would be too small. It ended up being a bit large. A 4 probably would have fit perfectly. I loved that I could wear a regular bra and that I wasn't struggling with showing any cleavage at a work function. Overall, this is a great dress and I would highly recommend it.

The zipper was a bit sticky, and as I am between a 2 & a 4, I went w the 4 to accommodate my more athletic shoulders. I received compliments all night long and felt incredibly chic ! Also, very comfy !! Huge plus? You can wear a standard bra w this as the band is covered

Absolutely loved this dress and received compliments all night. It is perfectly dramatic and stylish, without looking over the top. Plus, you can wear a regular bra with it--huge perk! I would love to have this as a permanent fixture in my wardrobe!

The dress did run a little small but was AMAZING!

This dress was a last minute replacement for another dress that came with a stain. I didn't want to wear black but there was not many options available. The dress fits beautifully and the slit is just the right amount of sexiness. I usually wear size 0, but the 2 in this dress was perfect for me. This dress is elegant and I got many compliments on it. Overall I was happy to wear it.

Pros: Material was good and it was thick so that was good for me because it was cold. The front was not too high but high enough to be sexy. Cons: It was a little loose around the waist, but I'm also really small so that could be the reason.

This dress runs small, I had to wear my backup size 6. It is definitely cut for someone with a shorter torso. The waist didn't hit at the right spot for me which resulted in the fabric in the back pulling a little bit but not enough to be hindering. The size 4 wouldn't even come close to zipping around my chest. I definitely recommend going up a size. I received tons of compliments and everyone wanted to know where I got my dress.

Super flattering for the most part, I received several compliments! But like others mentioned, depending on how I stood, the back of the dress gaped a little.

Runs slightly large. The only negative for me was the lower opening in the back. I wore a black cami underneath the dress to cover my lower back so only the upper back opening showed.

Loved this dress, it fit well, I felt attractive and would rent it again! Only con was the zipper seemed damaged on both dresses. It was very hard to get up despite the slack available.

The dress was classic, perfect for a nice rehearsal dinner. The material is nice and the dress lays perfectly. The slit on the side goes above mid-thigh, but it is still very tasteful. It does run a bit small-I had to wear a couple of sizes larger than I normally would. Also, the back gaped a bit, but that probably wouldn't be an issue for someone with a longer torso or taller height. Overall, I loved wearing this dress and received a ton of compliments on it. It is a great quality dress that lays well and has a timeless look!

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's company holiday party. It is glamorous and unique. Also, really comfortable! My only gripe was, as some other reviewers mentioned, the material gaped a little bit in the back.

The dress was perfect! It fit perfectly and very comfortable. The material is very nice. I got lots of compliments on the dress. It was a little tighter around the breast. I am a 34DD. However it was not uncomfortable.

Comfortable and great fitting! Slit is high but the gathered fabric hides that. Back has a cut out feature so it was easier to wear without a bra.

The size 2 and 4 were very similar, but I chose to wear the 4 just for a tiny bit more length. The "slit" in the dress is much higher than I expected, but if you are going to an event where it is appropriate then this dress is great. I would rent this again!

Fits very tight in the chest area-didn't need to wear a bra as there wouldn't have been room for one. I ordered a 6 with a 4 as back up size, but the 6 wasn't available. I think a 6 would have fit perfectly.
