This dress runs small so I recommend a size up. I love the pleated skirt. It got people thinking it's a see through but it's not. I wore it with a belt to add some color. Love it!

This dress was lovely and fit very well. I'm between a 4 & 6 and went with the 6 in this dress. I was comfortable and the lining in the dress was so nice. You could wear this to any formal event. Only possible "con" in can imagine is that you probably need to be tall to wear this...5'8" and up.

This dress worked perfectly for my nonprofit's annual gala and auction. I tried a few other RTR dresses, but this one was the winner. The colors are classic, and I paired it with a statement necklace to jazz it up. I definitely agree with other reviews that you want to be on the taller side to wear this. Overall, I was really pleased with the dress.

I was exactly between 8 and 10. A little frustrating, so 4 stars instead of 5. Went with 10 but the top was a bit large. Still looked fabulous though and was comfortable for a long evening.

I loved the look of this dress on the model and the idea of it, the sizing is just really tricky. Since I rented it through unlimited, I couldn't get a backup size so I sized up. I'm usually a 2 or a 4 so I went with a 4 when I should have gone with a 6. I literally did not think it was going to zip up over my rib cage, it was SO tight. Once it's zipped it didn't really matter and I did receive a number of compliments on it but if I rented again I would definitely go with a 6.

(I didn't get to wear this out and about but did try it on for fun). My thoughts are that it's a nice combination of classic and whimsical, with flowy pleats on the bottom nicely paired with a thick, more formal material on the top. The dress runs very narrow in the torso/rib cage/hips and the material is not very stretchy so it probably works best for narrow frames. I'm quite a bit shorter than the model so it hit closer to my ankles but I didn't mind the length. The tan slip is a bit long (apparent in the photo) but doesn't stand out when walking around. Overall, I think it's a really pretty, flattering dress and would definitely recommend/wear again.

I rented this for a speech. I planned to wear the dress with a black blazer and a red belt (shown in picture) for a little pop of color. The maternal of the dress is very high quality, and the length was perfect. Unfortunately, the top was very, very small. Although the hips fit, I couldn't zip my usual size (2) past my ribcage. I had ordered a 4 as a back-up and couldn't zip that one either. I had two people trying to help me get into it and there was just no way. It wasn't so much my cup size that was the problem, as I couldn't even get the zipper up that far. In the photo, I am wearing the 4 and the back is gaping open. I don't even think that a 6 would have fit. If think that if I had sized up to fit my rib cage, the hips would have been way too big. I should have tried it on prior to my event as I'm sure that RTR would have helped me out, but I didn't. Instead, I had to find something in my closet to wear for the speech.

I wore this for my law school graduation party. Fashion-forward without being flashy or revealing. Bodice part of the dress is quite close-fitting. I usually am between a 2 and 4 but I barely zipped into the 4, so size up if you've got a more hourglass figure like mine.

I'm between an 8 and a 10 and I found that this dress runs true to size. It's a great length for a tall woman. Only complaint is that it runs little bigger than normal around the chest and shoulders. I have a big bust, so I always appreciate extra room on top, but this was a little distracting. Other than that, this dress is great.

It is very fitted and cut more for someone taller than I, but nonetheless very beautiful. I received many compliments.

The fit and the feminine sway of the accordion portion at the bottom of the dress inspires such confidence that I felt like a movie star, gliding through New Orleans. It's classy and wholly original and fit very well. I didn't want to sit in a cab, I wanted to walk to wear the dress. Would absolutely rent again.

Definitely runs small, I am usually between 2 and 4 but in this case the 4 was too tight. Luckily managed to make it work by wearing a blazer on top. Beautiful dress, very elegant but also professional.

Wore this dress for a 1920s party. I decided to be authentic to times and this dress was the appropriate length and appeared (because of the colorblocking) to be dropwaist. It was a perfect style for 1920s, especially when paired with long pearls. I usually wear a size 4 or 6 and required the 6 in this particular style. Very comfortable.

I normally wear a 6 or an 8, depending on the cut of the dress. I rented this one in the 8, and it was too big for me. I have a pear shape, and the 8 was too big in the bust and waist. Luckily another dress was overnighted to me! Gorgeous dress that I'd love to rent again but in the correct size

I chose this dress because there are so few available that are not super short. But it was not flattering, and the layered fabrics around the thigh area were just odd-looking.

The fit was off and hit me at a weird angle. I didn't like it. RR was great and I was able to swap it out for another look.

I loved this dress. I'm not sure if the sizing is slightly off or not. I'm anywhere from an 8-12 depending on the style and brand, so I average it out to a 10. I rented both the 8 and 10. The majority of the reviews seem to think that this dress runs small. I disagree. Maybe in the larger sizes of 8+ vs. the 4 or 6- sizes it runs differently? The 10 looked frumpy and the 8 fit perfectly hugging my midsection and hips nicely thinning me out without being tight. The upper body and hip fabric have absolutely no stretch so if you run at all thicker through the middle or back this could cause discomfort and give a reason to size up. However, even though my chest is larger, it was not too tight. The hemline is a nice detail that modernizes the dress and gives it subtle pizzazz. Loved, loved, loved it. Would definitely rent again!

I cannot say enough good things about this dress. It was the perfect pick for a wedding that bordered between cocktail and formal. It's classy with fun detail and needed minimal accessories. I would rent this dress over and over again and I wish I owned it!

I ordered a size up from what I normally wear since I'm early in the 2nd trimester with twins and this fit perfectly. The waist line sat right above the baby bump and was very flattering. I received so many compliments on the dress throughout the entire evening!

Wore the dress to a wedding with red pumps. I usually wear a 2/4 or XS/S. The 4 was very tight on me, especially around the hips and bust, and I had major difficulty trying to zip around the bust. I almost thought I wouldn't be able to wear it when I was trying to zip it. The dress does not stretch, so I definitely recommend sizing up, but I think a 6 would've been much too long for me since I'm 5'3''.

Pretty enough to feel special, with enough covering to make it feel appropriate for a (special) professional setting.

I found the dress to fit exactly like most renters described. Snug through the hips, but still hung great, if I wore the size that fit on top. I loved this dress and will rent it again.

This looked lovely in the picture, but the main problem was that the dress arrived with all of the pleating flattened out. I'm not sure if it had been steamed out or if the dress has simply been cleaned too much. Either way, it didn't look as nice so I didn't wear it. The upper bodice is lovely and cut well, though.

I rented this for everyday wear.... I was a bit to fancy for the office. It fit great and was very comfortable. I am looking forward to renting it again for a day event. Not flashy, just classic and understated. Wonderful and flattering cut.

I have to say I decided to get this on the fly for a work event and really didn't comb through the reviews which probably would have told me that this runs very small. The fabric has absolutely no stretch and the body of the garment is cut extremely straight. I have no curves on the bottom and this thing was quite tight at my hips. I'm also a C cup but had a little bit more room up top. I of course did not try this on until I was getting ready for work in the morning and was shocked when I couldn't get the 2 past my upper thighs, a very small part of my body. I was further in a pickle when I realized that the 4 offered little in additional room. I had no other options, a spanx probably would have helped a tad but I didn't have one that would work. I wore the dress very uncomfortably for my morning meeting and then changed midday because I couldn't stand it riding up my body. I wish I had gotten the 4 and 6 so definitely pick the larger end of your range and then back up with an even larger size. The concept of this dress is to have that 20s dropped waist so wearing it tight is not the look. It would have been a super pick had it fit properly, although I did get several compliments as I was trying to yank it downward when no one was looking.

The dress fit everywhere except at the chest. Maybe I could not fill it out enough, but the seams puckered on both sides of the chest that made it come to a point, so it looked super awkward when you look from a side view. So, I did not wear it.
