This dress made me feel like beautiful. The silhouette was very flattering and the neckline was gorgeous. Subtle yet sexy. I would rent 2 different sizes to see which fits you best since it is a bit tighter around the waist! I didn't wear a bra with this dress and felt very comfortable!

I'm typically a 6, but just incase the brand ran small I ordered an 8 as a backup. The 6 fit perfectly, definitely needed heels with it (I'm 5'5") but I wore a pair of nude lace up pumps and they were perfect. The dress, was super flattering and a nice change from the regular sparkly bodycon NYE dresses. I even had a friend as if she could borrow it fora wedding recently. ;)

Sorry for the goofy pic! It's the only one I had that shows the back even a little... Loved this dress. I was looking for something open in the back for a formal event. The other reviews I read were pretty accurate. The dress is a bit roomy in the bust, but I'm big in the chest, so the dress did a great job minimizing. The neck collar was also a little loose, but nothing a safety pin couldn't fix. All in all, I got tons of compliments on this gown and felt it was pretty one of a kind at this large event.

The dress was perfect, something fun and different. Absolutely loved the look and feel. So comfortable for a night of dancing at my sorority's formal!! I was extremely nervous about the sizing of this dress but luckily both the 8 and the 10 fit perfect! I chose to wear the 10 because I wanted a little more breathing room especially if I was going to be drinking and eating! The regular was perfect for me because I am short, there was a little space left on the bottom when I had my heels on but I am happy I chose the regular because it wasn't dragging and didn't look too short, perfect length I was very pleased with the rent the runway service as well. I had called because one of my earrings that I rented along with it was broke and they accommodated me to the best of their abilities and I recommend anyone to use them.

The dress was form fitted but not clingy. It fit incredibly well and I got so many comments on how well it fit. I was slightly worried about it being tight around the hips and seeing love handles but after I tried it on I was very happy with it. I wish I could keep this dress!! I am 5'6 and got a regular length which was fine with 4 inch heels but you could see the bottomed of my shoes a little bit. A long probably would have been dragging on the ground though. I have zero complaints about this dress! Everyone else loved it too, someone even told me I looked like a model (which made my night). It's amazing the difference a designer dress can make

The waistline was a little tight, I debated between the 2 and the 4. Ideally, I would have ordered a long but it wasn't available-- but it didn't end up being a problem. You could see my toes at the bottom of the dress. It was very beautiful, and very elegant. The material is sturdy up top, and airy on the bottom. It made for a wonderful night.

This dress is beautiful! I loved the high neck line and the sheer bottom. The open back was amazing as well. The dress runs a little small. Length is not usually an issue for me but this one was a little short.

Wore it for NYE wedding. Very tight on waist. wore the 2L but should have worn the 4L which was not available. The sheer skirt did not photograph well. I wore 3" heels with dress and had no problems with the length.

The dress was beautiful, but I had wish the 8 was available. I received a call stating that I would not be getting the 8 because the last person had shipped it back damaged. Inside they sent me another dress just in case. I stuck with the original dress that I selected and loved it, but wish I had the size 8. Instead I wore the 10 which was actually lose up top. The material is fabulous! Great for the occasion!

this gown is SO cool, but does run a size small! I am always a 0 and found the 2 to be very fitted on me. The waistline is especially fitted, so if you're a little bigger in that area I would size up! I wore the 2L and am 5'6 and wore about a 5 or 5.5 inch heel with this, and it was still grazing the floor a bit. This style is super chic without being overwhelming or 'too much'. Make sure to wear either no bra or your nubra with this one, as this gown is backless!

My only negative remark is that the waistline had zero stretch, and was high waisted so it sat on the ribs. So good luck sitting or taking a deep breath.

I have a very "normal" body and I found that dress to have an extremely weird fit. It's sad, because it kinda ruined the dress which, apart from the fit, had a perfect design/fabric/style/etc. The upper part of the dress seems to run too large while the lower part seems to run too tight. As a result, you need to compromise and either have a fitted lower part and a loose upper part, or vice-versa. I wore the 6R, which was perfect for my waist (but my waist is usually a 3-4, so you see how weird that is) and I was literally floating in the upperpart... (Even worse b/c youcan't wear a bra with that dress) Not comfy at all. Also, i'm 5.8 and I wore this dress with 4" heels and I had the regular lenght and the lenght was perfect, despite what RTR say in the description... I think you really would need to be a giant to meed the "long" lenght...

If in between sizes I would actually go for the smaller size - for me it would have been nice if the dress were a little more snug up-top since you cannot wear a bra. Other than that it fit very well!

I am regularly a size 2, but I have no waist! The size 2 fit perfectly everywhere except for the fact that I could barely breathe. The other reviews are spot on.. there is no stretch in the waist part. So you might consider going a size up if you're like me and are straight as an arrow. The 4 had a little extra room in the breast area but nothing noticeable, and I am pretty flat chested. I could have easily gone without a bra but decided to wear my "sticky boobs" just to fill it out a little better. They didn't have the long available so I ordered the regular length which was a little too short but it still worked. I wore 5 inch heels also. This dress is very sexy and form fitting. I did not want to return it!

I have nothing bad to say about this dress & everything good to say - My husband loved it & so did I! Very sexy but also classy. The sheer bottom half & open back give this little black dress an interesting twist. The 6R fit like a dream - but be aware, the fabric has no stretch. This style is perfect for us gals who have broad shoulders & a waist - but who also have muscular legs; it accentuates our best features & also de-emphasizes & elongates the legs a bit. You will need a Nubra for sure. The 8R was a little long on me, even with heels. The 6R was perfect. Must rent again sometime!

It was easy to dance in and even though it was long I never stepped on it. The high waste is sliming and the back is really flattering. I highly recommend this dress.

My only problem with the dress was that the waist was just a tad tight and the top was a little loose for me (I'm a size DD, it very much surprised me that it was loose). Overall I loved the dress! I would definitely recommend it!

Very flattering dress but the gown had some snags in the fabric from being worn too much. I found the length of the regular to be a little short for me, really wish they had the long available in the size I needed. Regardless, felt beautiful in this dress!

Didn't choose this dress due to the fact it was small, however my sister tried it on and it was stunning!

This gown is very beautiful, classy and sexy! I wore it with 6inch heels and the length was perfect. The back is such a jaw dropper! It's torso and straps were a little loose on me. I wore it with a stick on bra and I was comfortable all night!

Really fitted in the hips. Sad because I really needed a 10L but it had gotten damaged. Still a gorgeous dress. Really think it requires a back that is in shape or the cutout will highlight it.

Other reviews were right. Meant for a longer torso. Too wide up top and too much material in the skirt. A size or two down may have been too tight in the band around the waist. Didn't end up wearing it.

This was my first choice gown for a formal event, but it fit very odd and so I had to go with my backup gown. The length was too short for me (5'9") and the top was also too baggy for the fit of the rest of the dress. Overall this dress just didn't fit properly.

If I could have gotten this in a 0, I probably would have worn it. Wasn't able to wear it to my event because it was too big.

I ordered this dress to wear to a formal work event. I wanted the 8L or 10L but all that was available was the 8R and 10R. I thought that maybe if I wore low heels it could work. Wrong! This dress wasn't even floor length when I was barefoot. Such a disappointment.

I really liked this dress, but it was not a great fit for me. The 6R was a bit tight in the waist and too loose in the arms. I think it would be better suited for someone with a longer torso.

The dress was pretty but my torso was too short for the top and my legs were too ing for the bottom. I suggest getting a long size for any body my height.
