Me: 5'4" 34-27-37 Fit: I wear a size 6-8. This dress was a little large for my taste. It was very comfortable. Length: I wore 5" platform heels, but I could have gotten away with 3" heels. Overall: Heavy material with stretch, so it feels very nice. I made the mistake of not looking at the back when I tried it on, so I did not notice my bra was showing. Make sure to wear a strapless or "invisible" straps.

I scheduled a fitting at Henri Bendel, and I would have never guessed that I would've loved this dress so much! I'm a curvy woman, so a tight fitting dress is not always the most flattering. But this material is thick (but not hot), photographs very well, and is comfortable while helping to keep the curves in all the right places. Received many compliments - it was a perfect dress for a beautiful evening.

This dress was amazing. I wore it to my boyfriend's military ball and it fit the occasion just right. The material is so nice and you really feel like you're wearing an expensive dress (it IS blumarine). It is snug around the waist and hips in a very flattering way. I would rent a pair of Spanx if you don't have some. The back of this dress is so nice- I love the zipper! It was barely long enough for me when I wore 4 inch heels. I had planned on wearing taller pumps but went with the shorter heel so the length worked- and it was fine. I adored this dress and got tons of compliments. It is very elegant and classy. Everything was shipped on time and I can't wait to rent another.

I wore this dress to a wedding in the winter. The material is pretty thick just to keep me warm during the winter. I got many compliments and enjoyed the dance floor with no worries. The height is just right for 2" high heels. I highly recommend to rent for an event where you dont want to be a scene stealer from the bride, still stand out from the crowd.

This dress has the material like scuba gear. It never wrinkled at all! It was also very elegant. So many compliments all day and it fit like a glove. I wore the Nu bra with this because you can see the bra strap with a regular bra. Very stretchy. This dress will show everything you've got.

This dress was amazing! It ran true to size and was very timeless and classy. The material was a bit "wetsuit," but it didn't wrinkle or shift when I wore it so it worked out great! The lace detail added just enough to the dress. It is the perfect dress for a black tie event.

I always get nervous when I rent dresses from here but this dress couldn't have been more perfect. The length and fit couldn't have been better and I highly recommend this dress for a black tie event. I received multiple compliments throughout the night and felt very comfortable in it. I will say it is VERY form fitted so if you have curves I would suggest wearing Spanx.

I loved the sleek and sexy feel of this neoprene dress! While it is very fitted throughout, the fabric has a ton of stretch and it was very comfortable. Because of the sheer paneling you would need to wear this with a strapless bra.

This dress is amazing. It just felt right as soon as I slipped it on. The material was heavier but held me in just right. I am 5'3" 1/2 and it was a tad long even with 5 inch heels, but I tacked it under in the seams and it worked. I would absolutely love to own this dress!

This dress was beautiful and very comfortable. It covered me yet left enough out to feel sexy. I typically wear a size 4 however this dress ran a little big which was an issue because with the big zipper in the back it looked a little wrinkled and the zipper hung in a loose way. Besides the fitting being a little off I gave it 4 stars because the dress also had a few small tears where the sheer material was in the front and more noticeable ones in the back. It was pointed out to me by my husband as we were leaving our hotel room for the wedding. Good thing it was a low lit reception!

the dress ran big so get a smaller size just in case. the dress doesn't get wrinkled and liquids will just slide right off if anything gets spilled. I especially recommend this dress to curvy girls.

It was very formfitting which would of been fine but you can't even wear spanx because it shows every line. It was also an inch or two too long on me even with heels on.

This dress is the bet. Fits like a glove, a glove that has amazingly think material and hugs you in all the right places. My boyfriend asked if I could buy it. So sad to return this gem.

I loved this dress and got lots of compliments on it. I'm 5'7" but I got the long because that's all that was left. I wore 4" heels to keep it off the ground so next time the regular length would be better. The dress is a little stretchy so there is some flexibility and its not restrictive so I could still do plenty of dancing and moving without feeling constrained.

I'm usually a size 4. The 2 fit well but not snug. The 4 would have been way to big on me. I'm 5'8 and the 40L was perfect with heels. I wore this to a work gala. It was comfortable and conservative enough but I still got a ton of compliments on the dress.

This dress was true to size. It was not tight, and the material was very comfortable and moved with me. I have long legs, so the dress was a tad short on me, especially if I would have worn heels. The mesh on the dress was a little frayed on the edges, but not enough to be noticeable to most.

This dress was incredibly comfortable to wear. You look like a tall drink of water in it! The fabric is thick and stretchy, kind of like neoprene, so it hides a lot of bumps and whatnot. Super flattering!

I usually wear size 8 but runs big. I used the size 6 for a formal Wedding. I Used platform high heels even regular is long. My first time renting. I will do it again, very convenience!!!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding on 4/12/14. The dress was so comfortable and VERY form fitting. I had spanx on but took them off 30 mins into to the wedding because the dress really holds you in. I would highly reccomend this dress to women who have great curves and want to show them off.

I tried this on at the RTR Showroom after completely missing it online. The fabric is stretchy and definitely clingy but the dress is cut well, so you still look balanced. That being said, definitely wear spanx. The modern fabric and exposed zipper in the back combine nicely with the modest cut and sheer panels to make it a timeless piece. I think it fits true to size and the stretch in the fabric will certainly help to even anything out between sizes. The scuba fabric is so different and incredibly comfortable, and I didn't have to spend the night worried about tearing, spills, etc. I really love this dress and wish I could wear it everyday!

Elegant black dress done in sexy neoprene fabric. It was very comfortable and I received compliments all evening.

It is stretchy, spandex. It's a very forgiving fit.

Be prepared that the dress is HOT because it is heavy and feels like you're wearing a scuba suit almost. It keeps in the heat and you are fully covered. Regardless, I would definitely rent this dress again. It was a hit!

I absolutely loved this dress, it looked amazing and was so comfortable. It is kind of tight, so if you are not comfortable with showing off all of your curves (particularly the stomach) I would think twice about this dress. That being said, I thought it was the most beautiful thing and loved wearing it! BEWARE, when I received the dress the top of it was damaged (the sheer paneling is very delicate). I was able to bring it to a great tailor and have it fixed for the next day, however it was a very frustrating and upsetting experience.

I didn't end up wearing this dress. I thought it would be dark blue, but it was black. I had received an email that it was damaged, but RTR sent it to me anyway along with an extra back-up dress (love the customer service!). The damage was the mesh/lace panel in the neckline and the back, there were spots where the darker lines had pulled away from the adjacent mesh, causing little holes - only noticeable upon close inspection but for me, too shabby for my formal party. The mesh covers the entire upper back, I can't imaging any bra with straps wouldn't show. But I loved the heavy, stretchy fabric and the fit was very, very flattering, better than the dress I ended up wearing. I'm 5'7" and I thought I could get away with 3-4" heels with this, it would not have touched the floor but I thought that given the line and the cut, that would have been okay.

Ran large so I wore the smaller size. Also, the material allows for it to stretch out as you wear it.

Rented this for a winter black tie affair and it was a great choice, I would rent it again. Not a whole lot of wow factor, but very classic. Everyone else is right, the material is just like a scuba suit. I felt like this made it slightly less formal than some dresses but it was pretty nice when someone spilled a drink on me and it just rolled off like nothing happened! Definitely cannot wear a normal bra with this, but a strapless one worked great for me. Wish I would have gotten the long, because even in flats it was shorter than I'd have liked, although not unwearable.

The fit was true to size but you could see every line including under garments. I would definitely have worn it if I was more prepared for that!

This dress would look OK - in theory, on a model, maybe. But it is literally made of the material used in a wet-suit, and it drapes unflatteringly over any curves you have. It's not hard for me to fill out dresses, but I was swimming in this one, and it was embarrassing. I didn't end up wearing this to my party, thank goodness. But really, avoid this awful frock.
