The dress fit perfectly! The dress is very thin, so no-seam panties are definitely required. I recommend a black strapless bra as well. I wish I owned this dress!

The dress fit perfectly! I did wear about 4 inch heels and i'm 5'2 and I sill had a bit of a trail but just the perfect amount. Not to tight or too loose and has a sexy high slit.

My 5'6", 34A-cup, hourglass/athletic frame fit PERFECTLY in the 38R. I wore approx. 2in heels & the gown barely touched the floor. Very sheer fabric so I wore a nude, stick-on bra & nude, seem-less panties. Definitely a MUST! Fabric does stretch & breathe well so you can sit, stand, dance, strut, and feel care-free! Lace overlay does have fabric underneath (I thought it was just lace so your bare skin shows but that's not the case). Loved EVERY detail from the slit to the lace to the "off-the-shoulder" straps. Classy & elegant with a hint of "VA-VA-VOOM"!

This dress does run large. I am a size 10 but ended up wearing the 44R because the 46R wasn't hugging any curves and was unflattering. The dress is very light weight there is no lining. My boyfriend loves this dress on me so much that we contemplated purchasing it! The dress did catch a few times on the gems on my shoes, but it wasn't a big deal. You do have to wear a strapless bra with this dress, it's not tight enough to go without. Fabulous fabulous dress!

Cons: cheap slightly see thru material, if you have a large bust go at least 1 sz up. The 38 fit me wonderfully everywhere else but the chest so I went with 40 r and it fit the chest but was loose in the waist. Overall it was a beautiful dress and very comfortable, slinky and sexy. If you are short (I'm 5'3 and had on 4 in heels) stairs will be the bane of your existence.

I originally wanted 46R (Sz 8) as I usually wear size 8/10 but someone took it. I know reviews said it runs long as is but I went with 46L (Sz 8) & 44L (Sz 6) for back up. 46L (Sz 8) was great but looser and much longer than 44L (Sz 6) due to size so I wore the latter which was perfect fit. It's tricky picking out size. In fact I even went on Blumarine site and checked out their size chart which differed from RTRs in fact. I believe it was more useful. I even measured myself. I'm 5'5" so with the L, I opted to wear 4.5-5inch heels and the gown just brushed the floor. At times I did carry dress up stairs etc. The dress is beautiful. The simple details are gorgeous. Dress may look plains but it has quality. It feels great on body and it great stretch to it. I'm not slim but I took a risk and it wasn't bad at all on me! I did keep black undergarments on (underwear, bra. etc) as it is see-thru with flash because if it's material/fabric. I tested it prior to event to make sure. The lace is lovely touch. It does aide in slimming your image. Underneath is a soft, cream-rose color which is lovely. The slit is on my left side and it reached about 3/4 up my thigh, it was beautiful. As you can see the dress has weight and flows lovely when hanging/falling from hips. Simply gorgeous. This dress is to die for. I'm sure sometime in future, if occasion calls for it, I'll be renting this dress again! This was my first RTR experience and I do not regret it one bit!

I did not want to take this dress off. It was comfy and very sexy. I'm a curvy girl, so the stretch fit where it was supposed to. The only thing was that it's not tight enough in the chest. I'm busty and a bit more support would've been nice. A strapless might work with this, but I just went braless. The dress grazed the ground in my 4in heels, I'm 5'2.

this dress fit perfectly-- lovely if you have a sleek physique. was expecting the material to be a little more matte, but it looked fine. word of caution-- the material is very, very thin. avoid underwear with any texture whatsoever and bright flashes. also, to give you an idea, the L sizes are REALLY long. I'm 5'10" and wore 4.5" heels, and still had a bit more of a train than I would've liked.

This dress was really a nice one but the fabric is too thin (see pictures) and the shape way too long for me, even with wedge high heels.

This dress is absolutely stunning! I felt so elegant, yet sexy. The bust is cut quite low, so it was very difficult for me to adjust the stick on bra accordingly, but once I got it right, I didn't even pay attention to it for the rest of the night. It was also very long for me even with 5 inch heels, but these are minor concerns to me and I would rent again in a heartbeat.

The fit of this dress was pretty accurate. The only problem I had was the front of the dress slipped down and the top of the bra was visible and the back of the dress the zipper bunched up but fixed it with garment tape. Put a strip of tape on the back to pull up the dress where the zipper wouldn't bunch up and a strip in the front so it won't slip down as I moved. The length was perfect with a 5 inch heel. The dress fit perfect and super sexy! Hugged every curve. Wore to a prom I was attending with my bf in Puerto Rico and it was definitely a show stopper. Simple but elegant and sexy.

It was a very flattering dress and I felt like a queen when I walked in it, definitely an unforgettable dress. It fit best when I wore about 4in heels.

The dress is beautiful & exactly what I was looking for--draping & slinky because I usually look overwhelmed in long dresses. I thought the 38R might have even been too small because I find European sizes can run that way... but nope! the 38R was long unless I wore 5" heels, which I didn't want to do for this occasion. Also, it wasn't as clingy as I expected--was loose in teh wrong places & the straps are not adjustable, so fell long on me. Overall, I think this dress might have too much going on for a petite person, but would be absolutely phenom on a taller person. Also, this dress is best for a lean person--it has no forgiveness for anything because the fabric is so thin, so it would probably show bumps if you have them. The RTR team are unbelievable & completely raise teh bar on customer service. The online chat go-to-girl helped me locate another dress she felt would be great for my body type & got it here in time for my event. This was my first time using RTR, but I'm hooked & will be back for all of my events! Thank you RTR!

Although the 38 also fit me, I really liked the way this dress draped in the 40. (I tried on the 42 in-store as well and it was baggy and laughably long.) I'd recommend not sizing down too much, since the stretchy material has so much swing to it and the weight of the skirt will pull down and lengthen the lacy side panels (giving you longer leaner sides!). As for length - I'm 5'7" and wore the 40R with 4 and a half inch heels and still had a little drag on the back of the dress, so you'll have to be fairly tall and lean to need the L size. I wore it to a formal event and took photographs in the step-through so was really nervous about the stretchy material being see-through, but it wasn't at all. I wore a black strapless and you can't see it in any of the photos. Seamless everything below the waist recommended though. Last thought - because the fabric is thin, I thought all night that this dress would be fantastic for a formal event in warmer weather!

The dress was no doubt beautiful. It was just too loose and too long for me. I can't wait to order another dress for another event! At least now I know to go for a smaller size. Thanks Rtr

Great dress wonderful detail and different! I didn't end up wearing this one. I felt it was a little too tight for the affair we were attending. However, for the right formal even this dress would be perfect. It was long enough for me which is great! The slit really steps the dress up and makes it different!!

The fabric was made of this really unflattering, stretchy material. I ended up returning it the same day because I hated the way it looked. I wouldn't recommend renting this dress.

Super sexy and elegant dress. love it! Didn't get to wear it because I wore another one that fit a bit better. Needed a smaller size.
