Fit like a glove! Such a simple black dress yet so sophisticated!! Thick "scuba" - like material.. I was stunned that there was no need to wear bra. I want to own this dress!!!

Love love LOVE this dress! It was so hard for me to pack it up and send it back! The pictures really don't do this dress justice, and the material is amazing. As soon as I took it out of the box I couldn't stop smiling. It fit like a glove, and I was comfortable all night long. I ordered the long because there was no regular available, and the dress was almost too long even with my 5 inch heels, so if you're any shorter than 5'7", I would definitely go with the Regular length if it's available. Other than that...perfection!

Originally ordered a 38L but 2 days before I was informed it was damaged and wouldn't be delivered. I opted for the 40L backup size because I was in love with this dress. I'm not a size 0 but I know with the right amount of stretch I can squeeze into it! The 40L was not as tight as I was hoping/expecting (to suck in those trouble areas after having a baby) but the dress was still amazing. It didn't wrinkle and was extremely comfortable all night. I received many compliments about how simple and beautiful the dress was and I couldn't be happier with my decision to wear this dress to the 2013 marine corp ball.

It fit me perfectly. No complaints. Paired it with Steve Madden heels and a gold cuff my mom made for me.

This dress was fantastic! The fabric feels like scuba suit material, so it really sucks you in in all the right places without feeling tight so I didn't need any kind of bra. I'm 5'3" and in 3" heels, the dress was probably an inch too long but it was totally fine. I just really loved it, it's incredibly elegant!

Look no further, ladies. If you have a special occasion that can handle a little bit of sass, this is the dress for you. I was lucky enough to rent this for my engagement photo shoot in New York, and it couldn't have been more chic. I rented the 42L and in 5 inch heels the dress was still long enough, and I'm 5'10". The back of the dress is show stopping, not to mention the sexy slit on the front. Rent rent rent!

Such a stunning gown! I love the open back and exposed leg, it really makes you feel like a million bucks. The fabric is very stretchy and it actually is super comfortable! The dress runs true to size but I would size up for the free backup just in case. Love this!

This was the perfect dress for me as it was a work event for my husband & I didn't want anything too flashy but was still elegant & sophisticated. The fit is great for petite shapes, especially smaller chested girls but I still had to put chicken cutlets in for the top to fit properly. The fabric of this dress feels almost like a wet suit which really sucks you in all the right places while still being VERY comfortable. I initially had spanx on but ripped them off in the limo for fear of passing out & my husband couldn't tell the difference without them, which I think is a testament to how flattering that material really is. I also liked that I spent hours sitting down & did not have to worry about any wrinkles whatsoever!!!! It looked just as good at the end of the night as when I had put it on 9 hours earlier! As for the RTR service, I used to think that stylists were only for celebrities...Not any more!! I called in before my event to change my initial order and Kate was extremely helpful in regards to sizing/fit since there were no previous reviews for this gown. I ended up letting her style the entire look because it seemed reasonably priced & I wanted to have the options. I was initially hesitant about some of the costume jewelry being too gawdy but in the end I wore everything Kate suggested & I really loved the overall look! It was very cohesive without being too matchy & I think it really photographed beautifully. The stylists really do know the inventory well & actually work with your personal aesthetic to help you complete a great look. Overall I was very happy with the service I received for this event. I was extremely comfortable & confident & did not feel out of place at all on a red carpet where the majority of people have personal stylists on call & custom couture gowns on .Thank you RTR for letting me feel like an A-Lister, it was definitely money well spent for a very special occasion!

Wore this dress to a gala in Chicago and felt fabulous all night! It was sophisticated, modern, and allows you to shine. Received a ton of compliments. The back is the main event but looks stunning from all sides. It was very comfortable, spent hours on the dance floor and the fabric would easily smooth your figure if needed. I wish that I had worn a statement necklace; however, because I had the dress shipped to my event, I didn't have an opportunity to try the final look beforehand. Typically a size 6, ordered the 6 and 8 and wore the 6 equivalent comfortably. I am petite, wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. Did receive the surprise accessory, which are the earrings I'm wearing but regrettably don't recall the name. Was VERY happy to have them because they added a little sparkle although I think a statement necklace or great cuff are really what's needed.

This dress was a little tighter than I was expecting and is not forgiving, especially in the back. The slit zips the dress up a lot, as the cute is actually pretty conservative. If I didn't have my 5-inch heels, I think the dress would have been too long. Definitely perfect for a black tie affair.

I'm 33-25-34, and the dress was not as form fitting in the waist and hip/bum area as shown on the model. Nor was the slit as high. Still, the 38R length was perfect with a 3.5 inch heel (no platform). RTR informed me the night before that my second size, 38L was returned unwearable, so they threw in a $400 rental of their choice since time was of the essence. I did not end up wearing that dress because the 38R was a better fit anyhow. I went on a limb and decided I would spruce things up with the RJ Graziano Pirate Treasure necklace and it turned out to be an exquisite combination. I would 100% recommend this dress for any black-tie event!

The material is much different than I thought - it's almost like neoprene. Is super comfortable; looks great. Sexy and fabulous, got compliments all night. I thought the long would be too long, but I wore 5' heels, and the regular would have definitely been too short.

I wore this to Barrister's Ball (aka "Law School Prom") and it was perfect. It's tight but also so comfortable. My only qualm was that it was a bit short in heels, a 38L would have been ideal for me. Listen to the reviews saying it runs large, because it DOES. I am not, by any means, a size 0. Even the 38 could have been tighter given the style of the fabric, but overall it was so flattering. Slit is perfect height in my opinion, mid-thigh but not sky high. The simplicity of this dress will make you stand out anyway, but grab a statement necklace for extra drama. I wore it with a chunky Oscar amethyst number from RTR and I loved the combo.

I was a little skeptical of the neoprene, but let me tell ya, the material hugs in all the right places while maintaining a svelte line. This is a sexy, simple dress perfect for a gala or formal event.

Just have to say, AMAZING! Through out the night everybody kept telling me how amazing this dress was and how good it looked on me! I didn't want to return it!! I didn't even had to wear a bra because the fabric makes everything stay in its place. I just looooved this dress!!

Defiantly fit perfect to my hourglass figure

I ordered this in February to wear for my senior prom in May and the previous customer didn't return it...so I never got to wear it. RTR was very nice in offering me another dress regardless of the price of the new dress; but it was still very upsetting. I waited and loooked forward to wear this dress for almost three months and didn't even get to wear it because of the unresponsible customer.

I'm not going to lie, this dress is scary to wear at first. It fits like a glove, is backless, and the slit really does go all the way up your leg....but after two minutes you are in love with the dress and never want to take it off. It was perfect for my formal event, got tons of compliments and would totally order it again!!

This dress fit really well, but the material is odd; it feels rubbery and thick, like a wetsuit would, but it doesn't look bad, it just affects the way the dress moves/drapes in the skirt. The hook at the back of the neck constantly came undone; find another solution to keeping it closed. It doesn't affect whether the dress stays on or not, but friends were constantly noticing and re-doing the button for me.

This material is thick - like a scuba suit, so its super flattering. I have a full B chest and I didn't need to wear a bra with it at all. I'm 5'10'' and I feel like it was a little short, but it was still wearable - but unlike the photograph, my dress did not reach the floor once I had heels on. I always complain that the dresses are shortened too much, but otherwise, a really gorgeous choice.

Dress is not for the timid - undergarment choices are limited by cut and design but easy o dance in and looked as good at end of night as it did in beginning

It's fit is a bit large since it stretches but it's a great dress very conservative cool. I rented it as one of my prom options but I found it too mature, I am a serious person now but I felt it didn't simply fit my age . I know that 6 yrs from now I will be able to wear something similar because it fits my age. #greatdress but a bit #tooserious ohh one last thing front of the dress the sleeves are too wide it makes me look older like in a bad way. But it's a beautiful dress

I wanted to love this dress but the dress ran too large. The material is basically a thin neoprene and would look amazing if it were on the snug side. For me, it was too loose in the waist and I had folds around my waist/stomach which was definitely not flattering. I think this dress is best if you have an hourglass figure and can fill it out. On the plus side the back cutout looks amazing!

Loved it but the size was to big,will recommend anyone to get 1 size smaller than their regular,other than that it is a beautiful dress
