I'm honestly amazed by how wonderful customer service is at Rent the Runway. They personally called me when my first choice size didn't come in and found me a back up dress that was perfect for the event. Luckily, this beautiful, backless number fit. This dress is slimming, comfortable, and FIERCE. The material is kind of like a swimsuit, but I absolutely loved it. I received compliments all night, especially since I paired it with a great necklace also from Rent the Runway. GET THIS DRESS

I really liked the back of this dress! And the slit is an added bonus!! I read that other reviewers said that the slit did not show. I must say that it definitely does show. The material is almost like a wet suit. Overall if was perfect for my bachelorette weekend in Vegas!! The only negative was that the dress was tight in my rib cage area. I don't know if getting the size up would have helped b/c it is just a tight dress in general. I've always had this problem with dresses so it might just be me. Overall another great experience with RTR!!

It is a scuba fabric that is so comfortable! The slit in the front is not really noticeable unless you stand in a specific way. The back detail is my absolute favorite part of this dress. Overall, this is an amazing dress and would definitely rent again.

First RTR experience. This and the Herve Mind Boggling Dress. Fiance loved the Herve, I loved this one. It was classy-sexy, and I could totally eat my fill out at dinner and have it STILL look good. I loved the fabric, the back, the way it helped my body out. I loved everything about this dress. I want to own it. Front is as flattering as the back.

All I can say is that is dress is HOT! I love the back detail and the front slit! Definitely a perfect dress for a girls night out. This dress is extremely fitted, and you definitely want to size up in backup. The fabric on this dress is really interesting, it is pretty thick and has a good amount of stretch to it. It hit about 2-3 inches above my knee, and the slit is about 2 inches high.

The material of this dress is so comfortable and has a nice amount of stretch to it. It does run a little on the small side, so I would definitely size up for the free backup size. I wore a NuBra with it really fit nicely throughout. Great body-con style!

What a great dress! I actually ordered two great dresses in one shipment and chose the other. This fabric is nice and thick, the dress was very flattering. Perfect little black dress!

This dress has some serious 'wow' factor, especially for being a LDB. It was perfect for standing out in a sexy and classy way. Dress fits very snug aka it's very form fitting. Watch out for panty lines if you're not comfortable going commando though. Another great rental and experience with RTR!!

The only problem I had with it was that it kind of rides up a little bit. Other than that I got endless compliments on the dress... especially on the detail in the back. For something that seems so simple, it's truly amazing. The material feels like a light weight scuba suit and it's very form fitting and flattering. You can definitely tell why it's originally priced so high. I felt comfortable and beautiful. Great dress!

I liked this dress - fabric is great-I did not like the front photos especially when I was turned to the left - the front did not lay flat on my stomach like the Herve etc does but it is a lighter nice feeling "scuba lite like" material. I wish I would have posed more on the right side with the slit - I used nipple stickies as no bra would work - which was fine for me Also, this dress packed AMAZING well - which was important for me

I ordered the size 42 and 44. I wore the 42 because the tighter fit was more flattering. The neoprene like fabric held everything in, although after 3 kids I needed some shapewear as well. This little black dress is perfect because you can dress it up or down and it is appropriate for most occasions.

I wore this dress to an engagement party and had everyone's attention. It was so "different" from what is typically worn in my area.

I loved this dress!! It was really comfortable and I think it looked really flattering on. The cutouts on the back make it more unique than your usual LBD which was great!!

As the publicist at a Red Carpet event, I needed to look sharp but not draw attention away from the celebs that I represented. This dress was definitely the right call. Very form fitting and the scuba material kept the dress snug while being comfy and stretchy all night. I received many compliments. I wanted to keep it.

The fabric of this surprised me...almost like scuba gear. But the dress is very pretty and was a nice fit and length. I'd rent it again.

This is the perfect LBD. The material is unique and hugged my body very similarly to Herve, cinching and defining my waist. In comparison, the material is thicker and honestly a little more forgiving than HL which I didn't hate. The slit on the left leg gives the perfect hint of skin and the intricate back adds another fun detail. Be careful dancing though because this one rides up. My boyfriend was gawking from the minute he got to my apartment to the minute it hit the floor.

This little black dress is everything! I wore it to an awards dinner and everyone kept complimenting me until I left the dinner. Its just a perfect dress all together but i kept riding up as I was walking around which was a little disturbing. Nothing over the top but indeed a lovely dress. Overall I will recommend it to a friend.

Absolutely love the dress! I've rented several dresses from rent the runway and this one is my ultimate favorite! I had a cocktail reception and dinner banquet to go to. Dress was cocktail attire. This is a simple, elegant yet sexy dress. It appears conservative yet is a bit mini and the back is sexy. Perfect for my taste. I'm not a plunging, show the breasts girl. It also was the most comfortable dress I have ever worn. You will NOT be disappointed. I wish I could buy this dress! I will rent this again for sure. I'm a size xs,0- got this in a 38- fit like glove. I got a ton of compliments..

Great Material. Stretchy, so you could possibly size down. Easy to move in. Not too short (I'm 5'9). Classy, with a bit of sexy (back cutouts and side slit). The fit was nice, but I thought the stitching on the side made the sides stick out a little. Not terribly noticeable, but something that bugged me a little. All around great LBD!

The slit was not as high as I thought it would be. The fit was perfect otherwise, and the material is very slimming. I ended up wearing the other dress but it was a hard choice!

I rented this last minute when my second dress became unavailable. It is super hot and fun, but unfortunately I didn't wear it because it was too big. I listened to other reviewers who said it ran small.. So I got a size bigger than I normally wear. Then it was big. Also the material is very stretchy and it would look better fitted. Anyway may rent again its a great twist on the LBD!!

This was my back up dress. Didn't wear it but did try it on. The material was gorgeous but it wasn't tight enough through the hips otherwise I would try it again.

Pros: The back, scuba material Cons: Unforgivable material (any bumps or bulges will be seen) and a bit too long (i'm 5"6)

The material on this dress reminds me of a fancy wetsuit - thick but stretchy. It ran slightly large and may have been a bit stretched out. The front was more flattering than the back. Unfortunately, due to delivery complications, I didn't receive this dress until after the event I had rented it for. However, RTR's customer service was excellent as always, and I was happy to receive a credit for the rental. I look forward to renting from RTR again in the future, but won't choose this style next time.

I'm only 5'1", but this dress was down to my knee's, and the slit wasn't noticeable, so I suppose it runs big. The back straps made the front fit strange, I think the best candidate for this dress is tall and narrow.
