Great dress.

With a thick waist it pulled just a bit in the middle. Other than that I loved it

Modern and comfortable.

This is a great dress. I don't believe this dress is intended to be super flattering but it is very minimalist and i quite like it. The fabric is great. the buttons are easy. The sleeves look nice rolled up. I like to wear it with a belted purse. Looks cute with booties but I think I would like it with sandals as well. Will rent again.

Love the fit

I want everyone to just give this dress a chance! It's so nicely made and it hangs really beautifully on the body. It is long, but it would look great with a strappy sandal or even one of this season's flat form slides. I wore it with a pair of jeweled Isabel Marant boots and a felt hat, but you could style it lots of other ways. It would also look nice as a long shirt/kimono if you left it open with a slip dress underneath. I'm 5'6" and it was appropriately long on me, but iI can see how it might be harder to wear for someone more petite. That said, I think this dress is great and would definitely rent it again!

"Like The Sound of Music, in the best way"

Pros: enjoyed wearing it. Deep pockets. Soft material. Comfortable for a range of temperatures. Appropriate for the office. The buttons stop like 3" above the knee so it wasn't so matronly. Cons: Fit is freakin weird. The arms are too tight and also SO short, but the waist is wide-ish? There's no button at the waist so either you have to belt it or pin it close if you plan on sitting down. Had a hard time making it look right in photos. Also it's suuuuper long. I mean I'm 6' and the hem was only 5" from the ground without shoes on. Obv it was great for me but i think if you're <5'4" it'll drag on the ground without heels/wedges.

Extremely unflattering

I sized down to 2 from my usual 4 and it still looked pretty horrific. Gotta be super tall to pull this one off. Let the picture speak for itself.

Perfection w/pockets

Loved everything about this, even though my partner made reference to me looking like a milk maid. Still wore it many times and received many compliments. Very comfortable!

An exquisite everyday piece I didn't know I desperately needed.

People will say this runs large but I don't think you should size down; that's how it's supposed to look. Honestly I think this dress is a true testament to the free market because you'd think $810 for a jean maxi dress that kind of looks like you just got done churning butter would be insane, but after wearing it it seems worth it. It looks great without trying too hard (a lot of "statement" clothes on RTR are a bit too much for me), and I got multiple compliments. Might go ahead and keep it.

I loved this dress. It was formal, but laid back. So comfortable & breezy.

It's definitely long - would be better for someone who's tall. Very slimming!

Not for short girls

This dress was too long. The waist hit at my hips and the midi length was maxi on me (5'3" size 10). Sizing down doesn't seem like an option for me as the shoulders and arms were almost snug. I tried to belt it but it just looked super awkward and didn't end up wearing. Cute dress though, wish it worked for me.

Too much dress!

I don't mind conservative styles/long skirt and sleeves, but this was so much fabric, especially on the bottom. I sized up so the top fit my broad shoulders, but the top was nearly twice the size it should have been. It also felt very long.
