The material is really light so sometimes you feel the dress is not there, even tho it does cover you and it's not at all see trough. It has a weird shape wear makes you look a little bit big on the hips but still nice. Also is missing some buttons at the bottom but you can fix this with Bobby pins

A little sheer but I wore it with tan spanx and it fixed it immediately. Got a bunch of compliments! I'm 6' and it was long enough still

I was really excited about this dress from the photos online, but a bit disappointed when I got it it's so see through you can see everything g underneath, so if you don't know spanx you're screwed. The material did not match the retail price, it was also huge on me, and one of the buttons on the arm sleeve were missing

This was too shapeless for me. It might look more flattering on someone taller.

The dress is sheer like other reviews noted. I wore a slip, no big deal. The fit was meh and it moved around too much for my liking. I felt like I was constantly adjusting it. It was also more cream than the picture shows. Definitely more casual and not as structured as I thought or would have liked it to have been.

I wanted to like this dress but it was way too sheer for my taste. It works excellent as a beach cover-up but as an everyday out in public dress you will need a slip or maybe to wear a body suit underneath. It was really a matter of inconvenience for me because I want to be able to put on a dress and start my day, not think about people seeing through my dress.

The reviews stating this is sheer are extremely accurate! It seems like there should be a slip attached?

A mass of see-through shapeless fabric that makes no sense. It has a cinch waist but even when you cinch it, it doesn't refine the cut of the shirt - or dress?! - at all.

I am a zero and the sleeves and upper part of the dress fit perfect. It can expand at waist but if you tie it its the perfect flowy silhouette!

Great fit, I'm a regular size 2 and its a great fit, looks teally classy on. Wear a nude silk slip underneath and you'll be great!

As others have said, this is pretty sheer, but was fine with a nude pair of spanx or slip. The hemline itself isn't super short, but the buttons on the front don't go down very far, so it makes for an awkwardly large opening/gap where the front fabric doesn't meet. Probably two inches below my crotch. Again, it was okay with a slip, but even a short slip definitely shows. Otherwise my crotch would peek out when walking. The material is way too thin/delicate to try body or fabric tape. The tie waist is also kind of awkward. Overall it looked nice, but only once I played with the waist, buttons, and added a slip. Too much inconvenience to rent again for such a casual dress. More casual than the pics appear to make it.

Really liked this dress... Super flowy and comfortable. A tad large, but used the drawstring to cinch around the waist. You absolutely need a slip. I wore a nude slip dress.

Lovely dress (don't see what makes it worth $1200, but that's beside the point). Only a 4 was available though my usual size is a 6, and I figure because it was a loose-fitting shirtdress it would be fine, and it is. I'm you're between sizes, size down. My only problem with this dress is I was completely unprepared for how sheer it is! Definitely needs a slip or something underneath it.

I ordered the 10 as I wear a 32d and shirt dresses often fit too tight across the bust. Was not expecting the dress to be so thin (it's very sheer) or as tent-like for a garment retailing over $1k. I could have ordered a 6 and maybe gotten my desired effect in the waist (ie having one) but the bust was even too small at 10. Best for someone thin and no chest, order down

Very pretty but hyper lightweight and 100% transparent! I wanted to wear it as a dress but ended up styling with a tank top and jeans and heels and wearing it sort of as a tunic. Was a disappointed in the textile. Ultimately doesn't hold up to the brand's usual quality

Need a slip to wear unless you're wearing over other clothes/jeans - otherwise fabric is really lightweight and effectively see-through. Size 2 would have been the right fit for me though in terms of sizing (fit well around shoulders, looser in lower sections). Fabric is comfortable/not scratchy.

The dress is very thin and while there was plenty of room in the top there was gaping between the button holes. Maybe meant for someone with a smaller chest. Bonkers that it cost so much since it doesn't seem special at all in person.

I was really excited about this dress because I love the print and the designer. The material was paper thin and similar to a beach coverup. The tie around the waist was also at an odd place and made the dress flare out more.

I somehow missed reading the reviews on this before renting it. Had I read them, I probably wouldn't have picked it, which would have been the right choice. What a disappointment! The fabric is incredibly thin and the fit is off. The buttons on top kept looking like they were going to pop open, even though there was plenty of fabric. The drawstring waist felt a bit cheap and didn't gather the fabric for a nice look. I can't believe the retail price for something that was so disappointing. I only wore it around the house, trying to like it, but I just couldn't. I didn't wear it out.

For how much this retails for, you shouldn't be able to see my tattoo clearly and in detail right through the fabric. It also bunched weirdly at the middle when I pulled the drawstring waist. I like a cinched waist because I have a long torso, but there was so much fabric there, I couldn't get it to tighten properly and it was extremely unflattering. Additionally, the buttons stopped a little too high and it looked like I had a huge slit in the front where you wouldn't want one. Awful dress.

Yikes...I did not like this dress but I wanted to...so see through, but a slip was a quick fix for that however it just wasn’t flattering because of how thin the material is...not for me
