My friends told me all night I looked like I should be going to the Oscar's!
The dress fit perfectly, has a good weight and looks amazing in person. It was really perfect for my sorority formal and I wouldn't have wanted to be wearing anything else!

perfect for inaugural ball!
showed skin while still being classy. a little padding at the hips and butt, but i'm fairly straight aside from the bust so it gave me a waist. perfect fit and length. if i was any shorter, the slit would have been too high. little bit of loose extra stitching at the top of the slit, like someone had ripped it before me and tried to sew it but besides that- pefect! wish i owned it!

I got a ton of great comments at the party and on the photos from the party!
This dress was perfect for the black tie optional event I wore it to. It's not your standard black formal dress - I liked the unusual neckline and detailing. The material is fairly thick - the dress was heavier than I expected. It also has a little bit of a train at the back. The dress is very fitted (fabric is stretchy) and was very flattering! I am a 36B, the 6 fit perfectly in the chest area. I rented a 4 as a backup size - the 4 fit perfectly below the chest but I couldn't zip it all the way up.

Amazing
Wore this to the 2012 Grammy's. Rihanna was wearing something similar and gave me the stink-eye when she saw me. Couldn't blame her, this dress was a show-stopper!

good find!
This is a great dress. The black is understated and the slit is sexy. I found that the dress ran a little large. I'm normally a 4 or a 6 and the 4 was a little loose, but the black is so forgiving that it didn't matter. Great dress for tall girls. I'm 5'9", wore 3 1/2" heels, and it still came to the floor in the back.

Loved it! I am usually a size 4 or 6 but I rented a size 2 and it fit perfectly. The train was long for my height but workable.

Nice formal dress
This is a nice dress for a formal ocassion, but it runs a bit large in all the wrong places. My body is pretty proportionate, but the dress was too tight in the bust and too large in the hips. It wasn't as flattering.

Beautiful dress, but I couldn't wear it because it was a big 4. I would advise to go a size down from your usual size.

Rented as a back-up but didn't need it. Good thing, cause it runs BIG!
I had high hopes for this dress, but ended up being WAY too big for me. I would say size up 2 or more sizes. The fabric is very heavy and has great pleats and details. Wish this would have worked...

Too Much
This dress looked so nice in the picture - I was really excited to wear it to my event. But when I tried it on, I was totally disappointed. First, it looked way too old on me (and I'm 28). Also, the layers that looked cool in the photograph added a ton of bulk to the dress. I find that with my full hips, many dresses are too tight on the bottom, but this one was too big on the bottom! Over all I looked like an over-the-hill Jessica Rabbit, and opted to wear something I already owned instead. Bummer.

This dress fit me fine. Big on the sholders but I have that problem with alot of dresses the straps are always to long. Other then that the dress fit fine it was pretty. I couldn't wear though I think the stiching that hold the overlap together was unraveling because the split went all the way up to the privates when you would walk or sit. That was to appropriate for the wedding I was in. Thankfully I had another dress order with it, I wore that one.

Looks great in the picture and probably would have worked better for me if I had the right size. I usually wear a 2 and that size was way too large. Made beautifully so if you'd like to try it, order a size or two down.

this dress runs big. I am normally a 2 and this was hanging off of my chest and hips. If you have wide hips, stay away from this dress. I consider myself pretty srtaight and this dress added a lot of curve. The dress is very heavy and runs long. ( if you normally wear a long size, i would order regular.)

I ordered this dress as a backup and didn't wear it
It was huge! The dress completely swallowed me. The fabric is also very heavy, it was about a foot too long, and the slit was very very high. Would probably we wonderful on someone substantially taller who has larger bones
