This dress is not really something I normally would have chosen, it was for a courthouse wedding ceremony in which I was the MOH. I picked it for what I thought was it's royal blue color, which is what the bride requested. I ended up being totally shocked and awed at how amazing this dress made me look and feel!!! It is so flattering that it even somehow made my flabby arms look good! I second Jenn from NY's comment about the mid-section chubbiness being hidden! What a dress. Very sexy in a business-y sort of way. I will give you the heads up though, this dress is not royal blue. It's purple! But it ended up working well anyway! FYI, you don't have to wear the belt either, or you could sub with a belt of your choosing. I wore some gold shoes and gold diamond studded earrings with a gold and diamond bracelet and received a lot of compliments.

I absolutely adore this dress so much that I have rented it twice. Each time I have gotten great compliments. I am 5'2 and pretty petite (small waist, but hips). I'm usually an xs/sometimes small. The size 2 fit perfectly.

This dress hides all mid-section chubbiness by belting at the most narrow part of waist. Loved this dress so much I ended up buying it!

I am African-American and this dress accentuated my derriere perfectly. I have a small bust and it didn't make me look insufficient. My arms are toned and this dress is for women who feel comfortable with their arms out. Also, I don't have a tummy so I wouldn't recommend if you are self conscious of that area because the belt hits you right there.
