Small around the bust and waist if you have an average size torso, im generally a 4.

I received compliments all night. Don't worry about this dress turning out to be "not all that". This was actually my backup dress but I ended up picking this one instead. It is very elegant and classy, but it is sexy in the aspect that it is a bit low cut and it hugs your waist and hips. But the fitted aspect isn't all too extreme. The only concern I would have with this dress for other people is that the waist and bust is fitted. If you have a large bust maybe this isn't the dress for you. That is the basics, but if you want to read on, go ahead :-) Firstly, this dress on the website appears to be lavanderish hue, but it is more of a sky blue mixed with gray. It is still astoundingly beautiful. Secondly, the length is no too long. I am about 5'3 or 5'4, and I wore 4 inch heels with the dress, which was a pretty decent match. I'm glad this dress wasn't too terribly long (like other dresses are on short people like me), because I would have to wear 6 inch heels... and that can get painful really quickly. Thirdly, a bra isn't needed with this dress. It has the padding so it doesn't show any womanly parts. The dress was actually a bit loose for me up top, but the top is like a CORSET. It's tight enough that it will push up some of your cleavage. It's doesn't do the job quite as well as an actual push up bra, but it's something. I do have wide hips, and this dress flattered my shape while hiding some of the wideness. In conclusion, this dress was just perfect for me. It was everything I could have wanted. I definitely recommend this dress if you want to feel like a princesss :)

I rented this for my daughter for the prom. She was the most elegant one there - the heavy satin is rich and the details are beautiful. She was so thrilled that her first choice dress was the one that worked!

Fit wonderfully

The dress is truly lovely. There is a slit up the back the allows for movement and conservative dancing. It looked like it was worth every penny, almost... The hemming was terrible. Since this was the first dress I rented I'm not sure if this is a chronic problem with RTR dresses or just this style. The hem on the slit was professionally done. But the bottom hem looked like a first year sewing project. I recommend this dress as long as no one is looking at your feet.

The bust size was too small for me, however, the dress was fabulous.
